Bitcoin (BTC) continues to move within its one-week range after recovering from its recent drop to $91,000 but has failed to reclaim support above the $98,000 mark. Some analysts consider that BTC’s sentiment will remain neutral while it regains this support zone and builds up momentum toward a new high. Related Reading: Ethereum Holds ‘Bounce Or Die’ Level: Rebound To $4,000 Could Be Near Bitcoin Price Stability Could Lead To $101K Reclaim Following the start-of-February market correction, Bitcoin has been moving within the $96,000-$99,000 price range. The flagship cryptocurrency has recovered from its momentary fall to $91,000 and found support within its one-week range, only dropping 2% during this Sunday’s market retrace. The largest cryptocurrency has been hovering between $90,000 and $108,000 since the US Elections pump, moving in the mid-zone of its four-month price range for most of this period. Crypto analyst Rekt Capital pointed out Bitcoin’s positive performance, as it “continues to enjoy price stability” above a diagonal trendline support, a previous one-month downtrend line, broken during the latest all-time high (ATH) breakout. Since the DeepSeek-triggered correction, Bitcoin recorded price advances “that have been quickly getting canceled out, as evidenced by the recent upside wicks.” However, BTC’s price continued to hold the diagonal trendline as support over the week, which is necessary to build further momentum. According to the analyst, “As long as it continues to hold, the price will be positioned for a revisit of $101k over time.” After its most recent price action, BTC needs to reclaim the $97,700 mark to “build on this reversal with additional follow-through.” To achieve this, the flagship cryptocurrency must print a daily close above this level and reclaim it as support to build on its momentum toward the $101,000 resistance. BTC Remain Bullish in Higher Timeframes Daan Crypto Trades highlighted BTC’s range hasn’t changed, as it continues to move sideways while many altcoins have been losing ground. According to the X post, Bitcoin is consolidating while attempting a breakout on the lower timeframes. If the flagship crypto reclaims the highs from last week’s initial bounce, above the $100,000 barrier, BTC’s market structure will flip around. Daan stated BTC’s momentum is “pretty neutral” in the short term while bullish in the higher timeframes. Additionally, he pointed out that risk on sentiment will return once Bitcoin goes back into price discovery. According to Rekt Capital, BTC’s Second Price Discovery Uptrend should come in the next few weeks, as the cryptocurrency is trying to “trend reverse out of its 1st Price Discovery Correction,” which started in December. Moreover, February has also been a historically positive month for the flagship crypto. Several analysts have pointed out that BTC’s post-halving year performance has generally been favorable during Q1, generally struggling throughout the first few weeks of the year but gaining momentum throughout February and March. Bitcoin experienced a rollercoaster start to the week as the cryptocurrency dipped 5% below the critical $100K mark, only to recover and climb back above it. Monday’s price action highlighted the ongoing volatility in the market, leaving investors divided on Bitcoin’s next move. Some analysts are calling for a surge above the all-time high (ATH), while others warn of a potential continuation of the recent decline. Related Reading: Ethereum Poised To Test $2,800 Support Level If Market Downtrend Persists – Analyst Market sentiment remains mixed, with uncertainty dominating investor decision-making. However, Bitcoin’s resilience above the $100K level has sparked renewed optimism among bulls. Top crypto analyst Jelle shared a technical analysis, highlighting that Bitcoin has now turned $100,000 into a support level after two previous failed attempts. Jelle’s insights suggest that the psychological barrier has become a strong foothold for Bitcoin, setting the stage for potential upward momentum. As the market continues to watch for Bitcoin’s next move, the $100K level is now a critical zone to monitor. Whether Bitcoin surges toward a new ATH or faces another test of this support will likely shape the broader market narrative in the coming days. For now, Bitcoin’s ability to reclaim and hold $100K is a key indicator of its strength in this volatile phase. Bitcoin Holds Steady Amid Volatility Bitcoin has faced massive volatility since the start of the year, with price movements dominated by speculation and uncertainty. Despite these fluctuations, Bitcoin has demonstrated resilience, maintaining key demand levels and establishing new support zones. Analysts believe this could pave the way for a significant breakout in the coming weeks, with many eyeing an upward move toward new all-time highs (ATH). Top crypto analyst Jelle shared a technical analysis on X, highlighting the importance of Bitcoin’s recent price action. According to Jelle, “After two failed attempts, it looks like the third time is a charm indeed.” The $100,000 level, once a formidable resistance, has now turned into a solid support. This critical development underscores bullish momentum and sets the stage for a potential rally. Jelle noted that this shift in support indicates that bulls are gaining strength, positioning Bitcoin to rise higher and challenge its ATH. The broader market sentiment reflects cautious optimism. While uncertainty remains a driving force, Bitcoin’s ability to hold above $100,000 signals strong investor confidence. The cryptocurrency’s recent stability at these levels suggests it may be primed for a decisive move upward. Analysts and investors are closely monitoring Bitcoin’s next steps, as reclaiming and holding above ATH would solidify its long-term bullish trajectory. Related Reading: Solana Active Addresses Surge To 832K Per Hour Outpacing Ethereum Amid TRUMP Meme Coin Hype For now, Bitcoin’s ability to maintain support at $100,000 and push higher could serve as the catalyst for renewed enthusiasm in the market. If Bitcoin successfully challenges its ATH, it could mark the start of a new phase of growth, reinforcing its dominance as the leading cryptocurrency. As the market watches closely, Bitcoin remains the focal point of investor speculation and bullish expectations. Trading Between Key Liquidity Levels Bitcoin is currently trading at $102,900, having secured strong support above the critical $100,000 level. This psychological barrier has become a key focal point for market participants, with bulls showing resilience in defending it after recent volatility. The ability to hold this level suggests the potential for further upward momentum in the short term. For bulls to confirm a continuation of the uptrend, BTC must hold above $100,000 and push above the $105,000 mark. Breaking this next significant resistance level would likely trigger renewed bullish momentum, attracting fresh buyers and potentially paving the way for a massive rally. Such a move could see BTC retest its all-time high and even venture into price discovery territory. However, the stakes remain high. A failure to sustain support above $100,000 could lead to a deeper consolidation phase, dampening market enthusiasm. This would likely result in a retest of lower demand zones, with traders closely watching for signs of further weakness. Bitcoin has finally reclaimed the highly anticipated $100K mark after days of consolidation and lingering negative sentiment. The psychological milestone had been a key resistance level, with many investors and analysts closely monitoring BTC’s price action for clues about its next big move. The recent breakout above $100K signals renewed market optimism, yet the question remains: can Bitcoin maintain its momentum? Related Reading: Solana Back Above Weekly & Monthly Support Levels – Analyst Expects New ATH Top analyst Carl Runefelt shared a detailed technical analysis on X, highlighting a critical pattern forming in Bitcoin’s 1-hour time frame. According to Runefelt, Bitcoin is currently shaping a symmetrical triangle, a classic chart pattern that typically precedes a significant price movement. The pattern suggests that Bitcoin is coiling for a decisive breakout or breakdown, with the next few days—or even hours—potentially shaping its short-term trajectory. This pivotal moment for Bitcoin comes as the broader crypto market experiences renewed energy following a sluggish end to the previous year. Investors are optimistic yet cautious, as the technical setup could signal either a continued rally or a temporary setback. With BTC back in six-figure territory, the stage is set for a critical period that could define the first quarter of 2025. Bitcoin Breaks Above $100K But Faces Risks Bitcoin has surged to $102,700 with impressive strength, fueling optimism for a highly bullish year ahead. Investors are closely watching the market leader, which continues to show resilience after reclaiming the $100K mark. However, BTC is not without risks; any loss of current levels could result in a significant pullback, potentially shaking confidence in the ongoing rally. Top analyst Carl Runefelt recently shared a detailed technical analysis on X, highlighting Bitcoin’s formation of a symmetrical triangle on the hourly timeframe. This classic chart pattern often precedes a sharp breakout or breakdown, signaling heightened market activity. Runefelt emphasized that the next move could occur as the price consolidates tightly within the triangle. Runefelt outlined key price targets for traders to watch. A close below the $100K mark would act as a bearish signal, potentially invalidating the bullish structure built over recent weeks. Conversely, a breakout above $103K would confirm bullish momentum and set the stage for a continuation of the rally. While optimism surrounds the possibility of a sustained bull cycle, the potential for increased volatility underscores the need for caution in this pivotal period. Testing Fresh Liquidity Bitcoin is trading at $101,400 after a decisive 4-hour breakout above the critical $100K mark, sparking renewed optimism among investors. This clean breakout has pushed BTC into fresh liquidity above the psychological level of $100K, a sign of strength as the market leader attempts to maintain bullish momentum. However, the battle is far from over. While Bitcoin’s price action remains promising, bulls need to push the price higher to assert full control. The next major hurdle lies at $103,600, a key resistance level that, if broken, could pave the way for a massive rally. A strong move above this mark would confirm Bitcoin’s bullish structure and likely attract more buyers, driving the price into new all-time highs. Bitcoin (BTC) started the week by breaking out of a bullish pattern after moving sideways for most of the weekend. The flagship cryptocurrency just started its “parabolic phase,” sitting 3.4% below its all-time high (ATH), which could bring “massive moves” for BTC this week. Related Reading: Shiba Inu (SHIB) Ready To Roar! Analyst Calls For A 200% Spike Bitcoin ‘Parabolic Phase’ Just Started Bitcoin has seen a massive surge in the last two weeks, jumping 32% to the $89,000-$90,000 price range. BTC’s remarkable performance saw it soar 11% last Monday, preparing the ground for its eventual surge toward its latest ATH of $93,400 two days later. Since then, Bitcoin’s price has hovered between the $89,000-$92,000 range, briefly falling to $87,000 last Friday. Over the weekend, the flagship crypto continued to move within this rage, registering its largest weekly close in Bitcoin history. Crypto analyst Rekt Capital pointed out that BTC is barely starting its “parabolic phase,” noting that week three of the cycle’s “first price discovery uptrend” started today. The analyst explained that, historically, BTC has seen around 300 days of parabolic run each cycle, with the first major pullback coming over a month after entering price discovery mode. Per the post, it took six weeks before the flagship crypto’s first major pullback in 2013. In 2017, BTC rallied for eight weeks before registering a deeper pullback. Meanwhile, it soared for four weeks before experiencing a major retrace in the 2020-2021 cycle. Based on this, the analyst considers that “history suggests there’s more upside to come and that the first Price Discovery Correction is still weeks away.” Is A Move Massive Move Coming This Week? Ali Martinez noted that Bitcoin seems to be repeating 2020’s pattern. In 2020, after breaking its previous ATH of $19,700, BTC rose 26% and consolidated for a week. Following its consolidation, BTC jumped 66% toward $40,000 in the next two weeks. Martinez pointed out that Bitcoin has risen 28% since surpassing its March ATH and has been consolidating for nearly a week. This suggests that the cryptocurrency’s price could be getting ready for a substantial surge in the following days, potentially hitting the $100,000 mark this week. Crypto Yapper, another market watcher, stated that Bitcoin will likely make a “massive move” soon. The analyst highlighted the flagship crypto’s consolidation, noting the significant price action around the $89,000-$90,000 mark. Related Reading: Bitcoin Bulls Aren’t Backing Down: Rally Continues? This horizontal level acted as a key resistance zone earlier last week but has been confirmed as support throughout the past five days. As Bitcoin retested the $91,000 earlier today, the analyst also pointed out its price could continue the bullish trajectory and aim for a new ATH around $95,000. Additionally, BTC started the week breaking out of a one-week symmetrical triangle pattern. To Crypto Yapper, this is a “typical continuation pattern” for the cryptocurrency, which suggests that Bitcoin is set to continue its climb if the breakout is confirmed throughout the day. The analyst stated that BTC’s continuation of its uptrend could hit $100,000 by Sunday. As of this writing, Bitcoin is trading at $90,260, a 10% increase in the weekly timeframe. Bitcoin has proven unstoppable, breaking all-time highs five times in six days and surging past the $82,000 mark. This latest milestone cements Bitcoin’s momentum as it pushes into uncharted territory, capturing the bulls’ attention and sparking new levels of optimism in the market.  According to recent data from CryptoQuant, the number of bullish investors is growing rapidly, yet there’s reason to believe Bitcoin’s rally is far from over. Related Reading: Ethereum Analyst Sees Altseason Potential As BTS Is Still Outpacing ETH – Time To Buy Altcoins? CryptoQuant’s insights indicate that BTC remains significantly below its March 2024 peak in several key metrics, which suggests that Bitcoin may still have room to climb within this cycle. This gap highlights that, despite the impressive gains, Bitcoin could still be building toward a true cycle peak, with potential gains yet to be realized.  As investor sentiment strengthens and Bitcoin shows resilience at each new level, the market watches closely for signs of continued upward momentum. The next few days will be crucial in determining just how far Bitcoin can go as it solidifies its place in the next phase of this bull run. Bitcoin Bulls Enter The Room Bitcoin bulls have returned after eight months of sideways consolidation and significant selling pressure. With Bitcoin now trading 11% above its previous all-time high from March, market sentiment has turned decisively bullish, marking the start of a new trend.  According to data from CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler, the number of bullish investors in the market is steadily rising, signaling growing confidence. However, despite this uptick, the current rally lacks the frenzied demand seen during the March 2024 rally, when both retail and institutional interest reached euphoric levels. Adler’s data indicates that while bulls have a strong foothold in the market, the pace of accumulation by new retail and institutional participants is still relatively modest. This gap between the current market dynamics and those seen in March suggests that Bitcoin’s latest surge may be just the beginning rather than the end of its upward trajectory in this cycle.  Related Reading: Cardano Skyrockets Over 40% – Funding Rate Suggests Further Upside The slower but steady rise in buying interest could indicate that Bitcoin is still in the early stages of this bullish phase, with room for further growth before reaching a cycle peak. For investors, this could present a promising opportunity. The subdued retail and institutional excitement level suggests that Bitcoin has yet to capture mainstream attention as it did during previous peaks. If demand rises gradually, Bitcoin may experience sustained growth over the coming months, potentially reaching new highs as momentum builds.  BTC Setting New High Bitcoin recently set a new all-time high above $82,000, which many investors previously viewed as a likely local top. However, BTC’s price action remains robust, and it may be too soon to call for a definitive peak.  Despite this upward momentum, a potential pullback to $77,000 could be on the horizon, as there is an unfilled gap in the CME futures market between $77,000 and $81,000—a technical level that often attracts price action as traders look to close the gap. This week will likely bring significant volatility as bulls control the market. With Bitcoin in uncharted territory, some investors may seize the opportunity to lock in profits, which could introduce selling pressure.  Related Reading: Avalanche Nears Breakout – Top Analyst Sets $420 Target For AVAX This Cycle Nonetheless, the dominant trend is bullish, and a brief correction to $77,000 could provide a foundation for further upside. Bitcoin’s strength remains intact for now, but all eyes will be on how it responds to the volatility and whether it can maintain this high range or dip slightly before resuming its climb.  Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView
