Earlier this month the company registered an Avalanche trust in Delaware, a preliminary step toward launching the product.
Avalanche (AVAX) has reclaimed a crucial level as support after its recent rally, fueled by multiple bullish developments for the ecosystem. Some analysts forecast a massive rally toward the start-of-year highs if the momentum holds. Related Reading: Solana Season Next? Bitwise CIO Eyes ‘Epic’ Q4 Run Fueled By Corporate Demand Avalanche Eyes 35%-40% Rally On Thursday, Avalanche hit a seven-month high of $29.99 after breaking out of its multi-month accumulation range and turning the $26.50 resistance into support for the first time since February. The cryptocurrency has been rallying over the past few days, currently printing five consecutive green candles in the daily timeframe. Analyst Sjuul from AltCryptoGems noted that AVAX had been pushing on the key resistance, holding a series of higher local lows before smashing past this area. A breakout from this resistance level could set the stage for a rally to the start-of-year range between $40-$45, the market watcher signaled in a previous analysis. Similarly, Rekt Capital highlighted that Avalanche had been “working to build a cluster of stability” since late July, which resembles the mid-2024 re-accumulation range that preceded Q4 2024’s breakout. According to the analyst, “if repeated, could open the green pathway toward the red resistance region that is increasingly confluent with the Macro Wedge top.” He explained that AVAX has been forming Higher Lows in the weekly timeframe, positioning the price slightly higher with each retest. As a result, a weekly close above the $26 area, followed by a successful post-breakout retest, would enable AVAX price to reclaim the $30 resistance region and attempt to retest the Macro Wedge Top, currently around the $35 mark. Market watcher CW pointed out that Avalanche’s next sell wall exists around the $35-$36 area, suggesting that the cryptocurrency could retest this level in the coming days if momentum continues. Meanwhile, the next major support zone sits around the $24 level, which could be revisited in case of a rejection from the key resistance. Crypto Treasuries, Partnerships Drive Momentum As the market turns green again, multiple bullish developments have also fueled AVAX’s rally. According to recent reports, the Avalanche Foundation, the nonprofit behind the project, is seeking to raise $1 billion to establish two US-based crypto treasury vehicles. One of the deals, led by Hivemind Capital and advised by SkyBridge’s founder Anthony Scaramucci, aims to raise up to $500 million in a private investment in a Nasdaq-traded company. It is expected to be completed by the end of September. The other deal, which is expected to be closed in October, seeks to raise the same amount and involves a special purpose acquisition (SPAC) vehicle sponsored by Dragonfly Capital. Notably, the funds from the two deals will reportedly be destined to purchase millions of AVAX from the Avalanche Foundation’s reserves, which could continue to fuel momentum for the cryptocurrency. The post Avalanche Foundation pushes AVAX price to seven-month high with $1 billion fundraising talks appeared first on CryptoSlate.
The Avalanche Foundation is in advanced talks to set up two US digital asset treasury vehicles to raise roughly $1 billion that would purchase millions of AVAX directly from the foundation at a discount, according to the Financial Times. Avalanche Foundation’s $1 Billion Buy Plan One vehicle, led by Hivemind Capital, would seek up to $500 million via a Nasdaq-listed company with Anthony Scaramucci advising; a second, sponsored by Dragonfly Capital, would be a $500 million SPAC. People familiar said the deals could close within weeks; Hivemind confirmed it was working on a deal, while the foundation declined to comment. Currently, AVAX has a 720 million max supply with about 420 million in circulation. Digital-asset treasury companies—public or listed vehicles that raise capital to hold crypto on balance sheet—have proliferated this year and helped drive new demand across tokens. In parallel to Avalanche’s effort, Hong Kong’s HashKey Group this week unveiled a $500 million fund dedicated to DAT strategies, underscoring institutional interest in standardized structures for accumulating digital assets. Market plumbing is tightening at the same time. Nasdaq has moved to increase scrutiny of companies that issue stock primarily to buy crypto, a shift that has already pressured several “crypto treasury” names and could slow timelines for some new formations. The exchange is seeking enhanced disclosures and in some cases shareholder votes for such capital raises. On August 19, SkyBridge Capital said it would tokenize $300 million of hedge fund assets on Avalanche in partnership with Tokeny and Apex Group. “Tokenizing our funds on Avalanche … represents a significant step forward in modernizing the alternative investment landscape,” Scaramucci said at the time. Avalanche has also courted traditional finance through tokenization pilots and money-market-style products. VanEck, working with Securitize, launched a tokenized US Treasury fund whose tokens exist on Avalanche alongside other chains, part of a broader push positioning the network for capital-markets use cases referenced in the FT report. In December 2024 the foundation raised $250 million via a locked token sale led by Galaxy Digital, Dragonfly and ParaFi, providing a precedent for large, structured AVAX transactions backed by major crypto investors. Will It Impact AVAX Price? If completed as described by the FT, the two US vehicles would initially acquire discounted AVAX held by the foundation, with the first deal targeted to wrap by month-end and the SPAC later. Due to the transactions being executed off-exchange directly with the Foundation, they will not mechanically move spot order books at execution. However, the signaling of $1 billion in structured demand can still influence price indirectly via positioning and liquidity—tightening effective float if tokens are locked or staked, or capping rallies if discounted inventory is later hedged or distributed—so the net effect hinges on lockups, retention, and on-chain demand growth. At press time, AVAX traded at $28.72. Featured image created with DALL.E, chart from TradingView.com

Together, these initiatives reinforce Avalanche’s leadership in combining blockchain with practical real-world applications. Derivatives and Technical Indicators Support Bullish Outlook Market data shows AVAX open interest has surged to a record $1.07 billion, signaling strong capital inflows from derivatives traders. This suggests rising confidence that Avalanche is poised for a breakout. On the technical front, AVAX is trading above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, confirming a Golden Cross and strengthening bullish sentiment. The RSI currently sits at 61, leaving room for further upside before hitting overbought levels. Similarly, the MACD histogram has turned positive, with its line crossing above the signal line earlier this week, both classic signs of accelerating momentum. AVAX Price Prediction: Bulls Eye $30 and Beyond If AVAX secures a decisive close above $26.9, analysts project a move toward the $29.78 pivot level, just shy of the $30 psychological milestone. A successful breakout could unlock further gains into the $32–$35 range within the next two to three weeks, aligning with broader bullish sentiment in altcoins like Solana (SOL) and Tron (TRX). Cardano’s founder, Charles Hoskinson, has clarified why the blockchain platform was excluded from a prominent US government initiative meant to publish official economic data on public blockchains. Blockchain networks like Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Optimism made the cut; Cardano didn’t. Hoskinson revealed during a YouTube AMA that the reason wasn’t technical or regulatory, but it was grounded in economics. Specifically, he said the integration fee quoted by Oracle specialist Chainlink was absurd, which made Cardano’s participation really unfeasible. Chainlink’s Absurd Fee As one of the biggest blockchain ecosystems, Cardano’s inability to participate in the US government’s recent blockchain initiative to bring macroeconomic data onto the blockchain took many crypto participants by surprise. However, while speaking at a recent surprise AMA on his YouTube channel, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson says the reason boils down to money. Related Reading: Is XRP Coming To Cardano? Founder Sparks Speculation After Midnight Airdrop According to Hoskinson, the main reason was due to its pending partnership with Chainlink’s oracle integration, which is yet to be finalised because of the absurd fee charged by Chainlink. Hoskinson did not shy away from strong language: “They gave us an absurd number for integration. I said ‘f– it, we’ll handle it. We’ll figure it out,'” he said. Despite the frustration, he tempered his critique with respect. He described Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov as “extremely smart” and “a very good businessman”, someone who “sees the future” and, in Hoskinson’s words, is “sitting on a golden egg”. Chainlink’s oracle solutions are very important for connecting smart contracts to real-world data. As such, Hoskinson’s metaphor acknowledges Chainlink’s powerful position in the blockchain ecosystem. How It Stalls Cardano’s DeFi Growth Without a cost-effective oracle integration, Cardano’s decentralized finance landscape has struggled to keep pace with other blockchain ecosystems. To put this into perspective, Ethereum’s integration with Chainlink has allowed large inflows into its DeFi ecosystem, with about $13.4 billion in Total Value Locked (TVL) added from between August 2 ($78.222 billion) and August 31 ($91.595 billion), according to data from DeFiLlama. Related Reading: Cardano Price To Rise 300% To $4? Analyst Reveals When Meanwhile, Cardano’s TVL broke below $400 million in August, and daily active addresses have also fallen massively. At the time of writing, Cardano’s TVL is sitting at $367.91 million. The result is a disconnect between Cardano’s on-chain activity and ADA’s price action, which witnessed a steady increase in August alongside the rest of the crypto market. Nonetheless, Hoskinson is still optimistic. Talks with Chainlink are ongoing, and he’s determined to find common ground with Chainlink. He also revealed discussions with the team behind the USD1 stablecoin and hinted at potential collaboration with Aave, which he described as part of a bundle. If USD1 (already launched on Ethereum, BNB, and Tron) comes to Cardano, it could become the ecosystem’s largest stablecoin. Combine that with oracle access and lending support from Chainlink, and Cardano could strengthen its DeFi foundations significantly. At the time of writing, Cardano is trading at $0.8307, up by 1.1% in the past 24 hours. Featured image from Adobe Stock, chart from Tradingview.com

A massive opportunity is unfolding in the crypto space as the Midnight airdrop enters full swing, with billions of dollars worth of tokens available to eligible XRP and crypto investors. With just over a month left, industry voices warn that countless users could stand to miss out on one of the largest token distributions in history. Less Than 40 Days Left To Claim The Midnight Airdrop The ongoing Midnight airdrop is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about topics in the crypto space, with billions of dollars potentially left unclaimed. According to Big Pey, a Cardano content creator, holders of XRP, Solana (SOL), ADA, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Avalanche (AVAX), and Brave tokens could be overlooking a one-of-a-kind opportunity. Related Reading: Analyst Warns XRP Investors Not To Let Fear Dictate Moves As Long As Price Holds This Level The airdrop went live on August 5 2025 and has less than 40 days remaining before the claim window closes. Big Pey praised the tokenomics of Midnight’s $NIGHT token, describing it as “genius”. In his words, the most innovative feature is that $NIGHT generates “DUST,” rewarding users for engaging with the blockchain instead of forcing them to spend their existing holdings for transactions. This model creates a cycle where network activity becomes financially rewarding, contrasting how many blockchains currently function. Community members responding to Big Pey’s post raised concerns about the airdrop’s accessibility. One user inquired about the fate of unclaimed tokens, to which Big Pey explained that they would be redistributed later through a scavenger hunt phase. Another member highlighted the challenge of claiming tokens through hardware wallets such as Trezor. Addressing this, the Cardano content creator assured users that Trezor has confirmed plans to roll out support within the 60-day airdrop claim period, enabling hardware wallet holders to participate without risking security. About The Midnight Airdrop The Midnight airdrop is not just notable for its size but also for what it represents. Midnight is a partner chain built on Cardano, leveraging zero-knowledge proofs to ensure privacy and data protection for Decentralized Applications (dApps). Related Reading: Analyst Says It Doesn’t Matter What Analysis You Use, XRP Price Is Set To Explode The $NIGHT tokens are designed to serve as the governance and ownership layer of the Midnight ecosystem. On the other hand, the network introduces $DUST, a privacy utility that further incentivizes usage and deepens the project’s focus on secure, private transactions. Unlike many token launches relying on presales, Midnight will distribute 100% of its supply to eligible users across eight major blockchains. The airdrop is set to run for 60 days, with half of the distribution allocated to ADA holders and the other half spread across seven cryptocurrencies. Over 33 million wallets are eligible to receive tokens. Holders who do not initially claim will still have four years to secure their allocation, but the initial phase remains crucial for early participation. Investors outside the eight chains are not excluded either, as they can join a scavenger hunt to earn a share of unclaimed tokens later. Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview.com

Avalanche (AVAX) is starting to flash signs of a potential trend reversal as a clear double bottom pattern forms on the weekly chart. With price action building strength, bulls now have their sights set on the next key Fibonacci resistance zone. Double Bottom Strengthens: Can Fibonacci Levels Hold? In a recent analysis of the weekly chart posted on X, The Boss, a market analyst, highlighted that Avalanche is currently establishing a solid technical foundation. He noted the emergence of a clear double bottom formation, often considered a reliable reversal signal when confirmed. Related Reading: AVAX Ready For Range Breakout – Bulls Eye $36 Price Target According to The Boss, if this bullish pattern continues to play out, traders should keep an eye on the resistance zones marked by yellow lines, which are based on Fibonacci retracement levels. The Boss emphasized that the most critical level to watch is the horizontal resistance represented by the green line. He explained that a strong weekly close above this area would likely act as a technical catalyst, potentially unlocking more upside for AVAX in the near term Charting Key Technical Indicators Sharing further technical breakdown, The Boss drew attention to several key indicators that signal growing bullish momentum for AVAX. One of the standout observations is the MACD on the weekly chart, which is on the verge of a bullish crossover—a classic signal that buying pressure is gaining strength. Related Reading: Avalanche Bulls Eye Breakout, But Mid-Term Caution Clouds The View The Boss also noted that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is hovering around 55, just above the midpoint of the neutral zone. This positioning, coupled with its upward tilt, reflects a shift in momentum that favors the bulls. If the key indicator continues this upward trajectory, it could reinforce the developing bullish sentiment. Turning to the ADX, The Boss explained that while it remains below the 25 threshold—typically used to define a strong trend—it is showing gradual signs of strengthening. He suggested that a move above 25 would add weight to the bullish case by confirming the emergence of a more defined upward trend. Volume was another factor that The Boss highlighted in his analysis. He pointed out a steady increase in trading volume over recent weeks, which often signifies growing investor interest and confidence. In his view, this uptick supports the technical outlook and adds fuel to the potential breakout scenario. However, The Boss issued a note of caution despite the promising setup. He emphasized that crypto markets are inherently volatile, and for this bullish case to hold, price action must remain above key resistance zones. Traders, he advised, should watch closely for confirmation from indicators and weekly closes to validate the continuation of the trend. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com

In a turbulent second quarter (Q2) for the cryptocurrency market, Avalanche (AVAX), a layer-1 blockchain platform frequently considered a competitor to Ethereum (ETH), reported a mixed bag of financial metrics. Avalanche Price Declines But User Engagement Soars A recent analysis from data firm Messari revealed that AVAX’s price fell 4.2% quarter-over-quarter, dropping from $18.77 to $17.99. This decline came alongside a 2.6% decrease in its circulating market cap, which fell from $7.8 billion to $7.6 billion. The impact of this price drop was also reflected in AVAX’s market ranking, which fell from 15th to 16th among all cryptocurrencies. However, not all metrics were negative. Transaction fees for AVAX surged by nearly 29% during the quarter, increasing from 58,300 to 75,170. In terms of revenue, transaction fees in USD also rose slightly, going from $1.50 million to $1.54 million, indicating a growing user base and increased activity on the platform. Related Reading: Is $1 Dogecoin ‚Inevitable‘? Analyst Cites Perfect Storm Of Factors A particularly bright spot for Avalanche in Q2 2025 was the significant growth in daily transactions across its C-Chain and other layer-1s. Average daily transactions skyrocketed by 169.91%, reaching 10.1 million compared to 3.7 million in the previous quarter. This was complemented by a dramatic increase in daily active addresses, which surged by 210.45% to 519,954, suggesting a robust uptick in user engagement. In line with this growth, Avalanche also reduced its average transaction fees by 42.7%, from $0.05 to $0.03. This reduction is largely attributed to the Octane upgrade, which introduced a dynamic fee mechanism on Avalanche’s C-Chain, allowing for real-time fee adjustments to enhance user experience and reduce costs. C-Chain Transactions And DeFi TVL Soar The C-Chain in particular saw impressive usage growth, with average daily transactions jumping 493.4% from 244,995 at the end of Q1 to 1.4 million by the end of Q2. Daily active addresses also experienced a healthy increase of 57% quarter-over-quarter, rising from 29,554 to 46,397. Notably, there was a spike to 419,619 daily active addresses on May 11. As seen in the chart above, Avalanche’s total value locked (TVL) in decentralized finance (DeFi) rose 37.1%, climbing from $1.1 billion to $1.5 billion. However, the stablecoin market cap on Avalanche saw a significant decline of 23.8%, dropping from $1.9 billion to $1.5 billion. Related Reading: Crypto Founder Reveals What Will Drive Ethereum Price To $10,000 The rise in daily active addresses across Avalanche’s layer-1 platforms was particularly noteworthy. The average daily active addresses surged by 444.8% quarter-over-quarter, from 68,723 to 374,402. As of this writing, AVAX’s price has recovered from Q2 lows toward the $23 zone, rising 35% in the past thirty days due to the recent bullish sentiment that led Bitcoin (BTC), the market’s leading crypto, to reach a new all-time high above $123,000. Avalanche (AVAX) prices are up 6.59% in the past 24 hours amidst a general crypto price rebound. The prominent altcoin presently trades around $24, keeping in line with a long-standing range-bound movement. Meanwhile, popular market analyst Ali Martinez has shared some insights on the present AVAX market, highlighting a potential bullish scenario. Incoming AVAX Breakout? Here Are The Levels To Watch In an X post on July 25, Martinez provides a technical analysis on the AVAX market tipping the altcoin for a major price surge; Using the daily AVAX/USDT chart, the renowned analyst identified a constant trading range that has remained active from February to date. Related Reading: TRON Drops Q2 Report: Revenue, USDT Dominance Lead Multi-Quarter Highs This price range shows that AVAX prices have consistently moved between $15 and $27, forming a pivotal support and resistance in these price regions, respectively. Most notably, AVAX made another surge towards $27 following the crypto rebound in early July. However, the altcoin soon experienced another solid rejection for the third time in six months at the rather effective price barrier. Following this most recent rejection, AVAX found quick support around $23, another important price level in this trading range, which has previously acted as support or resistance depending on the price trend. If the market bulls can sustain the current buying pressure at this price zone, AVAX is likely to return to retest the $27 region. Interestingly, Ali Martinez explains that a successful breakout beyond $27 would pave the way for a quick climb to an immediate price target of $36 based on the Fibonacci retracement levels. This prediction presents a potential 46% price gain from current market prices and 38% from the breakout zone. On the other hand, failure to hold above the $23 price level may result in a bearish return to $15, marking a potentially catastrophic 34.78% decline from the support zone. Therefore, AVAX market forces must view the $23 as a critical region, which could influence a decisive breakout or breakdown in the mid-term. Related Reading: Wall Street’s Bold Bet: Bitcoin Could Hit $200K By December, Banking Giant Says AVAX Price Overview At the time of writing, AVAX trades at $24.81 following a slight 3.71% gain in the last seven days. With the altseason reportedly underway, AVAX also remains one of the many altcoins in investors’ consideration as a potential outperformer following an estimated 1,150% gain in the last bull run in 2021. With a market cap of $10.1 billion, AVAX continues to rank as the 17th largest cryptocurrency in the world. Featured image from DASE, chart from Tradingview
Crypto Analysis AI, in a recent update on X, highlighted that Avalanche (AVAX) is displaying mixed signals across multiple timeframes. While the short-term (1-hour) chart leans slightly bullish, the medium-term (4-hour) view suggests caution. Price action has recently tested resistance near $23.24 and is now consolidating between $22.80 and $23.00. Though the broader trend remains upward, a brief pullback or sideways movement could be on the horizon before any further upside. 1-Hour Timeframe And 4-Hour Timeframe Analysis Crypto Analysis AI recently highlighted that AVAX/USDT is flashing bullish signals on the 1-hour timeframe, with 30 buy signals against just 9 sell signals. Indicators such as the EMA crossover (9 > 20), a bullish MACD, and a DMI uptrend suggest positive short-term momentum. Related Reading: Avalanche 12-Hour TD Sequential Flashes Sell Signal After Nailing 50% Rally – Details The RSI at 59.48 supports a bullish outlook without being overbought, while the CMF at 0.1367 signals accumulation. The KDJ indicator has issued a sell signal, and the HMA reflects potential short-term exhaustion, pointing to a brief pause or pullback in the uptrend. On the 4-hour chart, momentum weakens slightly with 29 buy signals facing 14 sell signals. While the ADX (37.80) confirms trend strength, the CCI (143.48) and RSI (65.03) suggest overbought conditions near the $23.24 resistance. Avalanche Current Price Action & Key Levels According to Crypto Analysis AI, Avalanche was trading around $22.89, testing key resistance zones. The price recently surged from $21.16 to $23.24 on the 4-hour chart, before entering a consolidation phase in a tight range between $22.80 and $23.00. Short-term momentum looks bullish, especially on the 1-hour timeframe, whereas the 4-hour chart suggests the trend may be losing steam and needs confirmation for further upside. Related Reading: Avalanche (AVAX) Overextended—Is A Market Shakeup Imminent? Crypto Analysis AI predicted a breakout toward $23.50–$24.00, and AVAX has surpassed this level. On the downside, initial support lies at $22.60, followed by $22.00–$22.20 as a stronger demand zone. If losses deepen, $21.60–$21.80 could provide key support. The analyst also warned of overbought signals on the 4-hour RSI and CCI, which may trigger a short-term pullback. Additionally, low volume during recent dips signals weak buyer follow-through. Giving his final verdict, the analyst noted that Avalanche remains in an uptrend, but short-term traders might consider looking for pullbacks to the $22.60–$22.80 range for potential long setups. Meanwhile, medium-term traders are advised to watch for either a confirmed breakout above $23.24 or a deeper retest of the $22.00–$22.20 zone, as this could establish a stronger support base.
