After long years of muted performance, the XRP price had rebounded in 2024, pushing close to its $3.8 all-time high, but not quite hitting the mark. This comes after the legal battle with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ended in 2024, triggering a wave of recovery. Since then, though, the XRP price seems to have hit a ceiling and has been on a downtrend for over a year. This has pushed the price toward $1, an over 60% decline from its 2024 peaks. Despite this, predictions continue to pour in that the price moving above $10 is only a matter of time as XRP continues to be one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the space. The XRP Dream Has Changed From $1 Crypto analyst Crypto Patel took to the X (formerly Twitter) platform to explain where the investor mindset is sitting at now and how the dream seems to have changed. Pointing to historical performance, the analyst recalls how the dream was for XRP to actually reach $1 back when it was trading at around $0.003 back in 2017. Related Reading: Bitcoin’s Worst Week Since FTX Raises The Question: Is The Bottom Already In? However, in an interesting twist, the level that was the dream for every XRP holder back then has now become a level at which many are lamenting about. Instead of joining this train of complaint, though, Crypto Patel points out that even the current level is a major step up from where the XRP price used to be. Sitting above $1 right now, it means that the XRP price has staged an over 37,000% rally from its lows. Thus, what is being seen as a decline could also be a cause for celebration, depending on the perspective that investors are looking at it from. When To Start Buying Again With the sentiment around the current level beating down investors, the crypto analyst is looking at lower levels to begin accumulating the cryptocurrency again. The highest accumulation zone from here sits at $1, which would be an over 10% decline from the price at the time of this report. Related Reading: Analyst Predicts When Bitcoin Price Will Reach $100,000 In 2026 Then moving further downward, the crypto analyst believes that the XRP price could fall as low as $0.6. This would then put the accumulation zone between $0.6 and $1, meaning that the bottom is expected to be reached around these two levels. Nevertheless, the analyst says that the play for $10 remains intact even now. Mostly, it is a matter of time and patience when it comes to how high the XRP price could go. But the bullish narrative over the long-term continues to prevail. Featured image from Dall.E, chart from TradingView.com

Ripple’s possible public listing has returned to the conversation after SBI Holdings CEO Yoshitaka Kitao gave one of the clearest long-range timelines yet from a major Ripple shareholder. Yoshitaka Kitao, the CEO and President of SBI, one of Japan’s largest financial conglomerates, made remarks that have since resonated with members of the XRP community. Speaking about his long-term investment intentions, Kitao stated he is willing to pour in $626 million at the lower end and $1.25 billion at the upper end into Ripple when the payments technology company goes public. SBI CEO Says Ripple Needs To Go Public The question of whether Ripple Labs will ever trade on a public exchange has followed the company for years, although Ripple’s executives have been consistent in cooling expectations regarding an IPO.  Related Reading: Ripple’s Move To Privacy: How A Re-organization Of The XRP Ledger Will Affect The Network While speaking at a recent conference in Tokyo, Japan, Kitao said that when Ripple Labs goes public, he plans to invest heavily in the company. According to his remarks, the company would be willing to put in ¥100 billion or even ¥200 billion at once to fully complete everything.  Interestingly, the SBI Holdings CEO added that he believes Ripple will probably go public in about 12 years, while also saying that Ripple needs to go public. That timeline places the possible listing outside the current cycle, as it points to somewhere around 2038. The comment matters because Kitao is not a distant observer and not an XRP commentator trying to predict the next catalyst for an XRP price surge. SBI has been one of Ripple’s most consistent backers, and its relationship with the company stretches back to 2016.  SBI invested in Ripple Labs and later co-founded SBI Ripple Asia, a joint venture focused on using Ripple’s technology for cross-border payment services in Asia. SBI has also publicly disclosed that it holds approximately 9% of Ripple Labs, making it one of the company’s largest external shareholders. The Firm Has Always Resisted The IPO Talk Comments regarding a Ripple IPO have followed the company for years, especially after its legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission officially ended in 2025. Ripple has also grown as a company into custody, stablecoin infrastructure, real-world asset tokenization, and acquisitions. Related Reading: Here’s How XRP Is Making Its Next Major Push Into The Trillion-Dollar Wall Street However, Ripple executives have also noted that the company is not rushing into an IPO. For instance, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse dismissed talks of an IPO last year, saying the company does not need outside funding.  Ripple President Monica Long also said in January 2026 that Ripple still planned to stay private, explaining that the company’s balance sheet gives it enough room to keep growing without raising capital from public markets. This position also fits with Ripple’s recent private-market strength, as Ripple had raised $500 million at a valuation of about $40 billion in late 2025. XRP is attracting institutional capital at a time when liquidity across the market is moving in the opposite direction. Fresh ETF inflows and growing accumulation among long-term holders continue to support the bullish case, but recent data suggest a different challenge is emerging beneath the surface. While demand appears healthy, the amount of liquidity available to absorb buying and selling activity has fallen sharply.  XRP Continues To Attract Institutional Interest XRP has increasingly distinguished itself from the broader digital asset market. While several major crypto investment products struggled to attract capital in recent months, XRP-focused funds racked in $131.94 million in May 2026.  Related Reading: The Bitcoin Bear Market Is Over: Here’s Where We Are In The Cycle This trend has remained largely consistent. Apart from a brief slowdown in March, XRP investment products have continued to attract capital, with fresh inflows extending into early June. Institutional capital inflow is particularly noteworthy because it comes at a time when investor sentiment has deteriorated across many digital assets. Rather than pulling back, institutions appear to be viewing XRP as a strategic opportunity. On-chain data reinforces that view. As prices declined toward the start of June, long-term holders increased their positions. Recent holder net position data shows a sharp rise in accumulation, suggesting that experienced investors were buying during the selloff rather than exiting the market. Liquidity Dries Up As XRP Tests Major Support According to @CryptoQuant_com on X, XRP’s Binance 30-day Liquidity Index has fallen to its lowest level since early 2020. The indicator has dropped close to zero even though XRP continues to trade above $1.20. Historically, higher liquidity levels have accompanied some of XRP’s strongest rallies, making the current decline particularly noteworthy. For newer investors, liquidity refers to how easily an asset can be bought or sold without causing major price swings. When liquidity falls, fewer orders are available to absorb trades, making the market more vulnerable to sudden volatility. Under these conditions, even modest buying or selling pressure can trigger outsized price moves. Related Reading: Analyst Reveals Why Bitcoin Price Must Crash To $42,000 First The technical picture reflects this growing tension. Following a steep 53% correction earlier this year, XRP entered a broad ascending channel and has spent several months consolidating within that range. Recent selling pressure has pushed the asset back toward the lower boundary of the channel near $1.19-$1.20, an area that also aligns with a major Fibonacci support level around $1.20. If buyers regain control, resistance levels sit near $1.29, $1.36, $1.45, and $1.51, while a move toward $1.60 would bring the upper boundary of the channel back into focus. However, a decisive break below the $1.19 support zone could expose XRP to further downside toward $1.11 and potentially the psychological $1 level. For now, XRP remains at the intersection of two opposing forces. Institutional demand continues to strengthen, but liquidity has fallen to multi-year lows. Until one side gains the upper hand, XRP’s next major move may depend less on investor interest and more on whether the market has enough liquidity to absorb it. Ripple’s global payments narrative may be gaining fresh momentum as one of its key partners, Thunes, unveils a new development that could further strengthen cross-border settlement infrastructure. As the demand for faster, cheaper, and more efficient international payments continues to rise, strategic partnerships like Thunes play a crucial role in expanding real-world utility across the XRP ecosystem. Thunes Expands Its Role In The Global Payments Ecosystem A recent announcement from Thunes could significantly strengthen XRP’s position in the global payments landscape. Analyst XFinanceBull on X has revealed that the company has officially launched real-time payment capabilities in the United States through a direct connection with a Tier 1 financial institution, enabling access to ACH, Same-Day ACH, and all real-time payment rails. Related Reading: Key Volume Signals Are Driving XRP Momentum Amid Market Uncertainty The development comes as Thunes continues to strengthen its international footprint. Thunes holds 50 Money Transmitter Licenses, allowing it to operate across every US state and territory, mirroring Ripple’s regulatory reach. Both companies now independently have institutional-grade access to US clearing systems. Thunes network already spans 140 countries, supports 90 currencies, and connects to more than 12 billion mobile wallets, stablecoin wallets, and bank account endpoints. Following its expanded partnership with Ripple in September 2025, Thunes integrated blockchain and digital asset technology into its direct global network, leveraging Ripple payments to enhance its SmartX Treasury System. Meanwhile, Thunes has plugged real-time US settlement into the same network that uses the Ripple blockchain payments infrastructure and XRP as a bridge asset. Over 140 countries can now send money to the US through rails connected to Ripple technology. Ripple payments have near-global coverage with over 90 payout markets processing more than $70 billion in volume. This integration gives XRP a direct pathway into Tier 1 US banking through a partner that holds licenses in every state. Institutional Interest Fuels XRP Ledger’s Next Phase Of Growth The XRP Ledger real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem officially surpassed $3 billion in tokenized value in April. According to an analyst known as BankXRP on X, the incredible insights shared by Luke Judges, Partner Director at RippleX, at Istanbul Blockchain Week, break down exactly where the momentum is heading for real-world asset tokenization. Furthermore, the $3 billion milestone is driven by a highly diversified mix of assets, underscoring Ledger’s expanding institutional utility across multiple segments of finance. XRP has spent much of 2026 trading below the targets often discussed across its community, but one XRP commentator is saying that projections to these price targets are being viewed through the wrong lens. The analyst claims that XRP should not be measured like a traditional stock, especially if the asset functions as it is designed and it becomes tied to institutional settlement, liquidity routing, and high-value financial transfers. XRP Commentator Says Market Cap Logic Misses The Point Most XRP price discussions are based on market cap comparisons and circulating supply figures, which are the same models used to analyze stocks. However, according to an XRP commentator account known as CharuSan, this is a stagnant market cap logic being applied to XRP since it fundamentally misunderstands what the cryptocurrency was built to do. Related Reading: The Bitcoin Bear Market Is Over: Here’s Where We Are In The Cycle XRP is meant to play as a liquidity and velocity asset; therefore, the cryptocurrency’s price should not rise only because investors are buying it on exchanges. Instead, the projection is that XRP’s price will need to be much pushed higher if institutional systems begin using it as a bridge asset for massive transfers that demand deep liquidity within seconds. Furthermore, CharuSan XRP pointed to the size of global derivatives, stock markets, debt markets, DTCC volumes, FX settlement, banks, OTC markets, and Nostro/Vostro accounts as areas where liquidity demand could come from if they are fully integrated with the XRP Ledger. Therefore, a $500 billion or $1 trillion market cap would still be too small if XRP were expected to support these institutional trading volumes. XRP Needs To Be $300 At Least The price target floated by the analyst is that XRP will be mathematically forced to skyrocket to $300 in order to keep the wheels running. Notably, the $300 prediction is tied to a specific condition of full integration of XRP into major financial transfer systems. Once institutional automated software and APIs begin sending large transfer orders into liquidity pools, the market will no longer be guided mainly by small exchange buy and sell orders. Based on that setup, the main issue would be the amount of available XRP at the exact moment a transfer needs to be completed. If billions of dollars are moving per second, institutions will not search for cheap XRP sitting on a normal order book. The systems would draw from the deepest available liquidity pool, and the unit price would need to rise if available supply cannot support the transfer volume. Related Reading: Pundit Says Dogecoin Is About To Do Something Insane, Here’s What Interestingly, the latest post is part of a series from CharuSan XRP on how XRP could reach $300. In the previous part, he focused more directly on On-Demand Liquidity and the difference between circulating supply and truly available XRP. He gave the example of a $200 billion bank transfer. If XRP were priced at $20, such a transfer would require 10 billion XRP, which would be difficult to support if the system were handling not just one bank but thousands of banks and institutions at the same time. RippleNet currently has over 300 banking partners, and about 40% are actively using On-Demand Liquidity. The XRP price performance over the years has been stunted by a number of factors, with the major one being the legal battle with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Nevertheless, the community seems to have maintained its optimism, with many predicting that the altcoin is set to hit double-digits in the near future. The target has continued to expand in recent years, and one analyst’s forecast suggests that hitting $10 might only be the start of a major repricing for XRP. How The XRP Gains Could Be Multiplied Like The 2017-2018 Cycle The current XRP price trajectory could be following the same trend as the altcoin did back in 2017, and this could have significant implications for the cryptocurrency. As crypto analyst Future XRP on X (formerly Twitter) explained, a repeat of the 2017 rally would mean that a rally to the double-digit $10 could only be a start. Related Reading: Bitcoin Is Still Following This Descending Channel Pattern And The Endgame Shows The Bottom According to the analyst, the current slow growth of the cryptocurrency is nothing out of the ordinary. There was a similar trend in the XRP price back in the 2017 bull cycle, leading right up to the point when the altcoin’s price began to explode. Following this historical performance, the crypto analyst compresses the XRP price trajectory into three phases. The first of these is months of boredom, where the altcoin’s price seems not to be moving at all. Then comes the weeks of disbelief, where the price begins to move rapidly. Finally, XRP enters its month of ‘absolute chaos’, when the price completely explodes, and its performance outpaces all of the months that came before. How High The Price Could Go Following 2017’s Trajectory Putting the current trend side by side with 2017, the crypto analyst explains that the XRP price on June 1, 2026, could be compared as the equivalent of the price on December 1, 2017. This would mean that the first rally would put the price above $2 by July 1. Related Reading: Bitcoin Trend That Has Held For 15 Years Shows When To Expect The Bottom And When $400,000 Will Happen Next would be the rapid rise where the price moves up above $5, and by the third quarter, already crossed $10. But it doesn’t end there, as the rapid rise would see the price rising to $24.96 by the end of the third quarter in September. However, if the price is going full copy of the 2017 run, the XRP price rose a total of 640x from January 2017 to January 2018. Taking the current XRP price into account, a 640x rally would put the price as high as $832 at the peak. “History never repeats exactly. But understanding how XRP’s previous cycle unfolded provides valuable context when evaluating future market behavior,” the analyst explained. Featured image from Dall.E, chart from TradingView.com

Ripple’s possible approval to hold a Federal Reserve (Fed) master account could be the spark that pushes XRP into another major phase of upside momentum. Fed Settlement Access In his latest report, market analyst Sam Daodu said AI models broadly agree that XRP may rise if Ripple gains access to Fed settlement infrastructure.  A major reason behind the optimism is that Fed access would allow Ripple to settle directly through those rails, rather than routing transactions through banks that currently act as middlemen.  Related Reading: Ethereum (ETH) Drops Below $2,000—Why Standard Chartered Still Expects $40,000 By 2030 Daodu suggested the process may already be moving toward reality. In March 2026, Kraken became the first crypto firm to receive a master account through the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, which he cited as evidence that the approval pathway is no longer purely theoretical. Building on this development, Daodu shared model-driven forecasts for XRP, drawing comparisons between various AI systems and their respective approaches to weighing catalysts and risks.  XRP Forecasts Watch According to Daodu, ChatGPT points to a measured recovery under base conditions. The model places XRP in a $2.50 to $3.00 range by August 2026, while also flagging $1.50 as a key level XRP needs to hold for the prediction to remain on track.  Currently, the altcoin is trading well below that level, having retraced to $1.32 per token. Still, Daodu said that the rationale centres on exchange-traded fund (ETF) inflows and growth in Ripple’s payment corridor.  In a more bullish scenario—assuming ETF inflows and corridor growth accelerate meaningfully through the second half of the year—ChatGPT sees upside to $5.  Grok’s projections are more aggressive at the top end, according to Daodu. Grok’s base forecast lands between $2.50 and $2.80, but it lifts the upper target to $10 under the right conditions. Daodu reported that Grok links the $10 level to a scenario in which Bitcoin clears $100,000.  Why $80 Could Happen By 2032? Claude’s outlook is described as more cautious, though it still leaves room for gains. The model’s base projection, Daodu said, calls for XRP to remain in the $1.35 to $1.65 range for the rest of 2026, with a 50% probability assigned to that outcome.  Claude’s reasoning points to a familiar pattern: momentum can spark short-term rallies, but those moves may fade quickly if there is no fresh catalyst to extend the trend. At the same time, Claude’s longer-term view is more constructive than the base case.  Related Reading: Treasury Secretary Urges CLARITY Act Passage, Saying The US Should Be Home For Crypto It leaves room for XRP to reach between $8 and $14 if ETF inflows exceed $10 billion and banking adoption accelerates. Still, Claude stresses that price alone cannot carry XRP to those levels; the market would need sustained demand drivers to support the move. Among the models Daodu reviewed, Vincent Van Code’s AI forecast is presented as the boldest. Rather than focusing on a single near-term target, Vincent Van Code maps a year-by-year trajectory that reaches $80 by 2032.  The foundation for that call is Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s projection that 30% of Ripple Treasury’s $13 trillion annual payment flow could move on-chain within five years. For 2026 specifically, the AI model targets price targets ranging from $6 to $10.

A popular XRP community figure is making a case that the XRP Ledger is on the cusp of a transformation that would change how institutional capital works with decentralized infrastructure. The comment was based on the newly proposed AMM Swappable Curves standard, which seeks to improve XRPL’s native automated market maker beyond the existing XLS-30 design. The proposal is still at the community review and amendment stage, but it is already a major talking point among XRP supporters. XRPL’s Native AMM Could Be Set For A Major Amendment The current XRPL native AMM is based on XLS-30, which brought automated market maker functionality to the XRP Ledger and connected it directly to the network’s decentralized exchange. This allows XRPL trades to tap into AMM pools, the order book, or a mix of both, depending on where liquidity is best available. Related Reading: Dogecoin Monthly Triangle Pattern That Triggered 30,000% Parabolic Rally In 2021 Has Returned The proposed AMM Swappable Curves standard would build on that foundation by introducing a pluggable curve architecture. According to the draft posted under XRPL Standards discussion #547 on GitHub, pool creators would be able to choose the invariant function at pool creation. The initial set includes ConstantProduct, ConcentratedLiquidity, and StableSwap curves, with Smart AMM pools reserved for a later companion specification. Furthermore, the current XLS-30 model uses a single constant-product structure. Constant-product pools are useful for volatile pairs, but they spread liquidity across the full price range. The new proposal is because this is inefficient for correlated assets, especially stablecoin pairs, FX pairs, and tokenized assets that usually trade close to a narrow value range. Biggest Institutional Unlock XRP Has Ever Seen X Finance Bull described the proposed AMM Swappable Curves updates on the XRP Ledger as possibly the biggest institutional unlock XRP has ever seen, and XRPL’s native DEX is about to receive a major liquidity infrastructure upgrade.  According to him, the upgrade is comparable to the kind of innovation that helped turn Uniswap V3 into a dominant DeFi trading venue on Ethereum, but with the XRP Ledger’s advantages of burned fees, fast transaction settlement, and very low transaction cost. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Got Rejected At The 200-MA, Why Breaking $76,000 Could Be A Problem He explained that the main reason institutions may care is execution quality. Large stablecoin swaps between RLUSD and USDC could be carried out with almost zero price impact, which is the kind of standard that banks require before moving serious volume through any venue. From here, tighter FX pair settlement and more practical RWA trading at an institutional scale could follow if liquidity becomes more efficient. X Finance Bull also pointed to the benefits for capital providers, noting that they could earn stronger returns by focusing liquidity where it matters most instead of spreading it thinly across the entire market. This will create a flywheel effect, where better pools attract more volume, higher volume attracts more liquidity providers, and better liquidity attracts larger institutions. XRPL is becoming competitive with every major DeFi venue on earth.  Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

Ripple’s march to full banking status is one of the biggest talking points among members of the XRP community, with some analysts and enthusiasts asking whether the regulatory milestone could serve as the factor that pushes XRP into price territory it has never previously reached. The company’s balance sheet, its growing institutional presence, and XRPL-native infrastructure developments are combining to project bold predictions, including a target of $25 per coin. Ripple’s Banking Approval Is Important In December 2025, Ripple received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a national bank charter, which is a milestone no other crypto-native company had achieved. The charter is designed to clear the way for Ripple National Trust Bank, which will custody and manage reserves for Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin. Related Reading: Dogecoin Monthly Triangle Pattern That Triggered 30,000% Parabolic Rally In 2021 Has Returned A viral claim on the social media platform X from XRP enthusiast account KingXRP describes Ripple as having “officially obtained a banking license,” with its valuation pushed above $120 billion. That sentencing captures the excitement around the development, but it leaves out important context. The OCC conditionally approved Ripple’s application to establish Ripple National Trust Bank. However, Ripple has also applied for a Federal Reserve master account, which would allow the trust bank to plug directly into FedWire and FedNow systems and hold dollar reserves at the central bank. That access, if granted, would place Ripple inside the core infrastructure of the US payments system. What XRP Would Need To Reach $25 Ripple’s last widely reported private valuation was around $40 billion following a $500 million strategic investment round. However, Ripple does own an estimated 42 billion XRP on its balance sheet. Around 4.5 billion to 6.4 billion XRP are held directly in company wallets, while roughly 33 billion XRP are locked in cryptographic escrow accounts. If Ripple is in possession of 40 billion XRP and the price returns to trading at $3, those holdings alone would be worth about $120 billion on paper. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Got Rejected At The 200-MA, Why Breaking $76,000 Could Be A Problem A move to $25 would require XRP to become far more than an asset responding to headlines, and its banking approval would need to feed into a much broader adoption cycle. At a current circulating supply of about 61.9 billion XRP, a $25 price would place its market value above $1.5 trillion. According to KingXRP, if XRP moves beyond $25, Ripple’s balance sheet alone could surpass $240 billion, potentially placing the company among the top 10 banks globally. Speaking of the banking approval feeding into a broader adoption cycle, infrastructure is being built on top of the XRP Ledger. One of the more concrete developments involves RealFi Payment Solutions, which recently announced that it has officially partnered with Shopify to develop the first XRP Ledger-powered payment rewards application for global e-commerce. XRP is currently at the center of a growing debate as analysts discuss a potential move toward $100 and whether traditional market capitalization valuation models still apply. The expert argues that if XRP becomes widely used for payments and settlements, its role may shift toward financial infrastructure. In that case, the cryptocurrency’s value would depend more on network usage and transaction flow, rather than on market capitalization alone. XRP At $100 Could Happen Without A High Market Cap In an X post on May 24, crypto market expert Gina argued that XRP’s value should not be judged using traditional market capitalization models because the token is designed to serve as global financial infrastructure, not a passive store of value. According to her, XRP’s real strength does not come from its price action or total valuation, but from how frequently it can be used to move money across its network. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Got Rejected At The 200-MA, Why Breaking $76,000 Could Be A Problem To illustrate her point, Gina used a hypothetical scenario in which XRP trades at $100 and has a circulating supply of 50 billion tokens. In that case, XRP would have a market capitalization of roughly $5 trillion, surpassing that of Bitcoin and Ethereum. While that figure may seem extremely large, Gina argued that market cap alone does not capture the total value the XRP Ledger (XRPL) processes daily. She also focused on XRP’s liquidity velocity. Gina suggested that if each XRP token were reused about 1,000 times daily for cross-border settlements, the network could theoretically support up to $5 quadrillion in transaction flows every day, all without needing a higher market cap. Based on this concept, XRP’s value as a payment and settlement tool could far exceed what market capitalization alone suggests. Put simply, a $5 trillion market cap reflects only the total paper value of XRP at a given price. It says nothing about how much money a network can actually process or move through repeated transactions, which, according to Gina, is how XRP’s real value can truly be measured. Comparing XRP Market Cap Argument With SWIFT In her post, Gina compared XRP to the global banking messaging network, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). She noted that, unlike cryptocurrencies, SWIFT does not have a market capitalization because it is not an investment asset. Despite that, trillions of dollars still move through its system daily.  Related Reading: American Mega Bank Is Dumping Its Ethereum Holdings, Here’s What It’s Buying Gina suggested XRP could function in a similar way by serving as a bridge asset that helps institutions settle transactions quickly across different currencies and tokenized financial products. She stressed that XRP should not be viewed in the same category as assets like gold or Bitcoin, which are often treated as long-term stores of value. Instead, she described XRP as infrastructure for a future tokenized economy. Under this framework, Gina argued that traditional market cap calculations become even less important because utility-driven networks are measured by usage and throughput. She also claimed that if XRP were ever used to power even a small portion of the global derivatives markets or institutional settlement systems, the market cap valuation model would automatically “go out the window.” Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

A crypto analyst has identified a mistake in XRP’s current pricing, highlighting how its low price does not reflect its true value. According to the expert, XRP at $2 suggests the market still views the third-largest cryptocurrency as a speculative asset without real growth drivers. He noted that once XRP starts being used to move value globally, its price would appreciate to reflect its real valuation, potentially pushing the cryptocurrency into the four- to five-digit range.  Analyst Calls XRP at Single-Digit Valuations A Mistake According to BarriC, a crypto market analyst on X, many investors are still treating XRP as a short-term trade instead of viewing it based on its intended purpose. The analyst called this perspective a major “mistake,” especially as XRP continues to trade around $2. BarriC explained that most retail traders remain focused on price speculation, often debating whether XRP can eventually reach targets like $3, $5, or even $10. However, the analyst believes this mindset overlooks the bigger role that it was originally designed to play within the global financial system. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Got Rejected At The 200-MA, Why Breaking $76,000 Could Be A Problem According to him, XRP was not created to simply sit quietly on crypto exchanges while investors wait for its price to appreciate. Instead, it was built to move value quickly and efficiently across international borders. He noted that the altcoin was also designed to transfer money between institutions and within the global financial system. The asset was developed as part of a broad payment network, Ripple, aimed at improving global money transfers and liquidity movement. With its use cases and core value drivers now clearly laid out, BarriC argued that the real question is no longer whether XRP can climb from $2 to $5, calling such price targets “retail thinking.” Instead, he said that investors should focus on what could happen once XRP stops being treated mainly as a speculative trade and begins operating as part of the global financial infrastructure. According to BarriC, that shift is what could completely transform the conversation and narrative around XRP’s valuation and long-term pricing.  $10,000 Linked To Role As Global Financial Rail In his X post, BarriC noted that once XRP becomes a globally recognized and widely adopted financial rail, a $100 price target automatically “stops sounding crazy.” He added that even discussions about a possible move toward $1,000 could begin to spread across the market, largely due to the demand, liquidity, and transaction volume that could follow broader institutional and global adoption. Related Reading: American Mega Bank Is Dumping Its Ethereum Holdings, Here’s What It’s Buying Taking the projection even further, the analyst believes that XRP could eventually enter the five-figure territory, forecasting a potential rally to $10,000. He said that such an ambitious move would be driven less by market hype and more by XRP’s role in liquidity provision, cross-border settlement, and its global scale.  BarriC concluded his analysis by noting that many people in the crypto market are still debating the wrong valuation range for XRP. He said that they still view cryptocurrency through the speculative lens of today’s market. However, he said his outlook is different and is based on the idea that XRP was built for a future financial system.  Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

Goldman Sachs has quietly stepped out of its XRP ETF exposure, bringing a position once valued around $154 million down to zero in the first quarter of 2026. The move has quickly become a talking point across the XRP community because Goldman Sachs was previously one of the largest disclosed institutional holders of XRP-linked ETF products. However, the more interesting part of the story may not be the exit itself. The more interesting part is what happened around the market while that exit was being absorbed. Goldman Sachs Cuts XRP ETF Exposure To Zero Goldman Sachs entered the XRP ETF market in late 2025 with more conviction than any other institution on Wall Street. By the end of Q4 2025, the bank had accumulated about $154 million in XRP ETF exposure spread across products from Bitwise, Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, and 21Shares, making it the holder of nearly 73% of all known institutional XRP ETF investments at the time. Related Reading: The Last Time Bitcoin Printed This Ugly Candle, It Tanked; Now It Has Returned However, Goldman Sachs’ latest Form 13F filing showed no XRP-linked ETF holdings at the end of the first quarter of 2026. The filing, which was submitted to the SEC in the middle of May, shows that the XRP liquidation was one piece of an entire portfolio reset. Goldman also closed out its Solana ETF exposure, reduced its Ethereum ETF holdings by about 70%, and trimmed part of its Bitcoin ETF exposure, although it still maintained a much larger Bitcoin ETF position near $700 million. The Market Absorbed The Sale Without Breaking An XRP commentator known as X Finance Bull on the social media platform X pointed out that the real signal was not Goldman’s exit, but the ETF market’s reaction to it. The point was that if Goldman sold its entire $154 million XRP ETF position and XRP ETFs still recorded $60.5 million in weekly net inflows the week the news came out, then demand from other buyers had to be strong enough to absorb the sale and still leave the market positive. Related Reading: Analyst Says Roadmap For Bitcoin To Reach $500,000 Is Complete, Here’s Why A large institution exited, but the product did not suffer a visible collapse in flow momentum. Instead, Spot XRP ETFs recorded their strongest weekly inflow since January, with cumulative inflows reaching about $1.39 billion. Assuming the full selloff happened in the same week XRP ETFs still posted net inflows, total buying demand would have had to exceed $214 million to absorb Goldman’s $154 million exit and still leave the market positive. This is why the sale may be more complicated than a bearish headline shows. A big exit only becomes damaging if there is not enough demand on the other side. However, in this case, the Goldman’s selling pressure was not only absorbed but also overtaken by new buying. This points to sustained demand for XRP and gives holders a stronger reason to remain confident in their positions despite Goldman’s exit. XRP’s supply mechanism is one of the most controversial talking points in the crypto market. XRP exchange reserves have been falling for months, and the on-chain numbers are glaring. Now, a crypto pundit on X is connecting that structural shift to a chain of events that could send the XRP price into territory the market has never seen. XRP Supply Shock Could Push Exchanges Into A Liquidity Crisis A crypto pundit known as DelCrxpto has added an interesting angle to a scenario where XRP demand overwhelms available exchange supply and forces a new liquidity structure around Ripple’s XRP reserves. Whenever demand rises faster than available supply, price must adjust. XRP could eventually reach a point where exchanges struggle to source enough spot supply to meet demand from buyers, institutions, and liquidity providers. Related Reading: Trillion-Dollar Italian Bank Moves To XRP, But How Much Have They Bought? The pundit predicted that exchanges will eventually run out of XRP supply, demand will explode, and the entire XRP supply ecosystem could even face the risk of freezing. However, he believes such a squeeze would not only affect price but also force the market to create new liquidity channels from derivative contracts. Interestingly, the pundit also predicted that Ripple will step in by deploying portions of its XRP reserve as a liquidity pool and issuing XRP derivative contracts to exchanges. These exchanges would then sell the contracts at market price, allowing Ripple to earn yield from the structure. What’s Going On With The Supply? The current XRP circulating supply shows why the idea of exchanges completely running out of XRP should be treated carefully. At the time of writing, CoinMarketCap puts XRP’s circulating supply at about 61.82 billion XRP. However, the most important question is not how much XRP exists in circulation, but how much of that supply is actually liquid and available for immediate sale on exchanges. Recent on-chain data has started to strengthen the argument that XRP’s liquid supply may be tightening. For instance, the amount of XRP held on Binance has reportedly fallen from about 3.05 billion tokens to below 2.75 billion in less than a year, putting the exchange’s XRP reserves near multi-year lows.  Related Reading: What’s Going On With Ethereum And Why Is Price Moving This Way? The drop in wallet balance of XRP has also coincided with a rise in XRP holders. Wallet addresses holding at least 10,000 XRP have reached a new all-time high of 332,000 wallets, showing that larger holders are still building positions despite XRP’s volatile price action.  Another important signal is coming from whale exchange activity. Data has shown that XRP’s biggest holders have slowed the rate at which they send tokens to crypto exchanges. The 30-day cumulative whale inflow indicator has fallen below 736 million XRP, its lowest level since November 2021.  Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

A widely circulated analysis has claimed that structural changes inside the global financial system could trigger a dramatic market repricing for XRP. According to crypto analyst Pumpius, a pattern of institutional alignment involving Ripple technology, central banks, and emerging digital infrastructure could set the stage for what he describes as a historic price discovery phase. XRP Catalysts Emerging From Global Financial Infrastructure The analyst’s thesis begins with developments inside the Bank for International Settlements. On May 12, several influential BIS leadership roles were assigned to central bank governors from Italy, Brazil, Australia, and Japan. Related Reading: Analyst Says Roadmap For Bitcoin To Reach $500,000 Is Complete, Here’s Why Those appointments include Fabio Panetta of the Bank of Italy, Gabriel Galípolo of the Central Bank of Brazil, Michele Bullock of the Reserve Bank of Australia, and Kazuo Ueda of the Bank of Japan. According to the analyst, the significance lies not only in their new roles but in how their respective regions already intersect with Ripple’s technology. For instance, Italian banking giant Intesa Sanpaolo has deployed Ripple custody infrastructure, while financial institutions in Brazil have explored Ripple-powered payment services as the country advances digital asset licensing frameworks. Japan has long maintained close ties with Ripple through the partnership between SBI Holdings and Ripple, which has supported payment pilots and helped classify XRP as a financial asset within the Japanese market. Australia is also involved through digital asset research programs such as Project Acacia, while Ripple continues pursuing licenses across multiple jurisdictions. He further pointed to BIS-led cross-border interoperability initiatives that include both SWIFT and Ripple, as well as experiments such as Project Nexus and the multi-CBDC initiative known as mBridge. In the analyst’s view, these developments collectively form the structural catalysts that could boost XRP’s role in global payment infrastructure and subsequently, its price. Price Discovery Narrative Gains Momentum Beyond institutional positioning, the analyst argues that the next phase of XRP adoption could be driven by new technological layers forming around the XRP Ledger. Among the developments highlighted is Ripple’s work on zero-knowledge proof capabilities designed to support tokenization and privacy-focused financial infrastructure. One emerging project within this ecosystem is DNA Protocol, which has conducted zero-knowledge proof transactions on the XRP Ledger. The initiative aims to anchor sensitive biological or genomic data onto blockchain networks, potentially creating a compliance and identity layer for financial systems. Related Reading: Why Ethereum Is About To Break The Bear Cycle And Rally To $8,000 The analyst suggests that this type of infrastructure could enable institutions to verify identity and regulatory requirements without exposing private data, effectively linking payments, digital identity, and compliance within a single blockchain framework. He also referenced remarks from Japanese commentator Yuto Kanzaki, who indicated that a close associate had recently assumed a highly influential role at the Bank for International Settlements.  Together, the analyst outlines a pattern: Ripple built banking partnerships, central banks began testing the technology, and global financial bodies started involving blockchain firms in policy discussions. If these trends lead to real cross-border payment flows on XRPL infrastructure, XRP could become the liquidity layer linking financial institutions, potentially triggering the price discovery he predicts. XRP is making its boldest move yet into mainstream finance as two of the biggest names in traditional finance are stepping deeper into crypto. The CME Group and Nasdaq have announced plans to introduce a new crypto index futures product, and XRP is included in the basket. The contract will give institutional investors regulated access to a range of digital assets through a single product, opening the door to the trillion-dollar Wall Street market.  CME And Nasdaq To Launch XRP-Inclusive Crypto Index Futures In a landmark move, the CME Group and Nasdaq are set to launch the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index Futures on June 8, marking the first-ever market-cap-weighted crypto index futures contract. The single cash-settled product will give institutional investors regulated exposure to a basket of digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar. Related Reading: If You’re Holding XRP, This Pundit Says You Should See This Crypto expert Pumpius was among the few analysts to speak about the development on X, describing it as a turning point for XRP and the broader crypto market. He noted that XRP is now being integrated into Wall Street as traditional finance goes all-in on digital assets. For XRP holders in particular, Pumpius said the token is finally transitioning from a speculative asset to a core institutional holding. Adding more context to the recent development, market analyst Ripplexity said that crypto futures volume at CME has skyrocketed by 43% so far this year, reflecting just how high the demand is for regulated crypto products. He also said that the upcoming index futures contract will be settled using the Nasdaq CME Crypto Settlement Price Index, which already includes XRP. CME Moves To 24/7 Trading Ahead Of June Launch Crypto analyst SMQKE offered a broader view of the new milestone and its implications for the crypto industry. He described the CME Group as the world’s largest and most important derivatives exchange, noting that its partnership with Nasdaq could bring institutional capital into the altcoin market through a fully regulated channel.  Related Reading: Market Analyst Outlines How The XRP Price Will Reach $300 And What Everyone Is Missing SMQKE also highlighted a major operational change happening before the June index launch. Starting May 29, the CME Group will reportedly shift its crypto futures and options trading to a 24/7 schedule, a move designed to match the round-the-clock nature of crypto markets. The analyst said that this will be a massive shift and a clear example of how fast the traditional finance sector is catching up to crypto technology. SMQKE also pointed out that XRP, Stellar, and Cardano are all ISO 20022-compliant tokens and that their inclusion in this derivatives product signals a deeper integration into mainstream finance. As the June 8 date approaches, market participants are still waiting on regulatory approval from the CFTC. According to SMQKE, the CME and Nasdaq partnership is likely to pave the way for further institutional adoption of digital assets and decentralized technologies. Ripple’s early push into banking partnerships may be finding new relevance in an unexpected place. One of its long-time collaborators has resurfaced at the center of X Money, the payments initiative tied to X’s broader ambition to become a global financial super app. What once served as a bridge for Ripple’s cross-border settlement network is now part of infrastructure aimed at scaling digital payments to a massive user base. How A Ripple-Linked Bank Became Part Of Elon Musk’s Payment Push A Ripple-linked banking partner from the company’s earliest expansion days has now surfaced inside Elon Musk’s X Money ecosystem. RippleXity revealed on X that Cross River Bank, one of the first US banks to integrate Ripple’s Payment protocol back in 2014 for real-time cross-border transfers between the US and Europe, is now powering part of X Money’s beta rollout through its regulated banking services. Related Reading: Why Ripple’s XRP Is A Better Transaction Choice Compared To SWIFT The same Cross River Bank that reportedly issues the Visa Debit and Flex Cards appears in X Money’s beta program. With X building its payments layer through regulated banking and card infrastructure, this places a Ripple-linked financial institution inside Musk’s expanding digital payments infrastructure. Furthermore, the development has quickly drawn attention across the XRP community because it creates a direct historical overlap between Ripple’s early settlement technology and X Money’s regulated banking framework. While there is still no official confirmation of the XRP integration within X Money, many see Cross River Bank’s role as a significant connection that is difficult to dismiss. Ripple Prime Revenue Surges Despite XRP Trading Below All-Time High Although XRP continues to trade below 50% its all-time high, Ripple’s broader infrastructure business appears to be gaining momentum behind the scenes. A technical analyst known as ChartNerd has noted that institutional adoption across Ripple’s ecosystem is accelerating, with Ripple Prime emerging as one of the company’s strongest growth drivers. XRP is back in focus following reports of exposure from Italy’s largest banking group. The disclosure, highlighted by crypto analyst @Xfinancebull on X, reveals a position tied to the Grayscale XRP Trust, which has drawn renewed attention across the market as investors assess the scale and implications of the holding. The $18 Million Position Making Waves According to recent reports, Italian banking heavyweight Intesa Sanpaolo, a financial institution managing roughly $1.1 trillion in assets, expanded its cryptocurrency exposure substantially between late 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. Verified figures show that the institution’s crypto-related holdings climbed from approximately $100 million in the fourth quarter of 2025 to nearly $235 million by the end of March 2026. Within that expansion was a newly established position tied to the cryptocurrency through the Grayscale XRP Trust. Related Reading: What’s Going On With Ethereum And Why Is Price Moving This Way? As of March 31, the bank held 712,319 shares of the Grayscale XRP Trust, a position valued at around $18 million. This makes it one of the most notable institutional allocations disclosed by a major European bank this year. The exposure was not obtained through direct purchases of tokens on exchanges. Instead, the bank gained access through Grayscale’s investment trust product, which allows institutions to participate in XRP-related investments through regulated financial vehicles. That distinction matters because many traditional financial institutions still prefer regulated exposure routes instead of directly holding crypto assets on-chain. The move immediately drew attention across the community, especially because it arrived during a period when parts of the market remained uncertain about short-term price direction. @Xfinancebull referenced the development as evidence that large institutions continue positioning themselves despite ongoing volatility in the broader crypto market. XRP Is Part Of A Bigger Crypto Strategy The XRP allocation was only one part of a much larger crypto expansion strategy unveiled during the quarter. Alongside the new XRP position, Intesa Sanpaolo also increased its Bitcoin exposure and added Ethereum-related investments for the first time. The bank reportedly gained Ethereum exposure through purchases linked to the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust. At the same time, its Bitcoin holdings also grew significantly through several ETF-related products, including ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF. Related Reading: Is It Time To Sell? Bitcoin Price Enters Redistribution Phase That Previously Led To A 78% Crash Interestingly, while exposure to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP increased, the institution sharply reduced its position connected to Solana. Holdings tied to the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF reportedly fell from more than 266,000 shares at the end of 2025 to just 2,817 shares by March 2026. Rather than taking small experimental positions, the bank appears to be actively restructuring its crypto exposure across multiple major digital assets. For XRP supporters, the $18 million position stands out because it represents participation from one of Europe’s largest financial institutions. Although the investment remains relatively small compared to the bank’s overall asset base, the move still adds to growing evidence that traditional financial players are increasingly willing to gain exposure to XRP-related products as the digital asset sector continues evolving. XRP has been trading above $1.40 in recent days, with buyers still trying to push on momentum after the pullback from the May 10 high. The cryptocurrency’s price has not broken down, but it has also failed to confirm a stronger upside continuation. This leaves the 1-hour chart in an important position. However, the XRP count is still valid.  The current wave count now depends on notable price levels, which include whether XRP can hold above support at $1.40 and avoid a break below the key $1.38 swing low. XRP Pullback From May 10 Still Looks Corrective Technical analysis of XRP’s price action on the 1-hour chart, which was posted by a crypto analyst on the social media platform X, shows that the decline from the May 10 high has not been random noise. The main argument in the analysis is that XRP’s decline from the May 10 high has unfolded as a three-wave move. This has unfolded in an ABC structure, not the kind of five-wave impulsive decline that would precede a trend reversal. According to Elliott Wave analysis, three-wave declines are corrective structures, especially when they develop inside a larger range and fail to take out the prior swing low. Related Reading: Is It Time To Sell? Bitcoin Price Enters Redistribution Phase That Previously Led To A 78% Crash The key swing low is currently around $1.38, and it is now the level holding the current wave count together. This level has also served as an important floor for XRP for the past 30 days, making it the structural base of the short-term setup. A sustained hold above $1.38 would keep the bullish wave count valid, while a break below it would weaken the case for another leg higher. XRP Price Chart. Source: @Morecryptoonl On X Price Levels To Watch Out For The first and most important level to watch is $1.38. This is the swing low holding the current wave count in place. Above that, the nearest support area is the Fibonacci levels between $1.40 and $1.42. These prices are important because they capture the internal B-wave support region. However, this is not the strongest support area, as B-waves can often move through Fibonacci levels before finding a proper reaction. Related Reading: Ripple CEO Reveals What It Would Mean For XRP Holders If The Company Went Public At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $1.47. On the upside, the first major resistance to watch is around $1.51, which is the same area XRP failed to sustain after the May 10 high. A daily close above this level would mean that the pullback has ended and that XRP is beginning another rally phase.  After $1.51, the next levels to watch are around $1.59 and $1.67, before the larger projected C zone between $1.75 and $1.76 comes into view. These are all targets based on Elliott Wave counts of XRP’s price action. Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

A crypto analyst has laid out a technical case for XRP reaching between $8 and $12 by April 2027. This technical case is purely based on XRP’s price pattern on the weekly candlestick timeframe chart and a projection of where the cryptocurrency goes from here. XRP Can Technically Rally $8 To $12 The foundation of the pundit’s prediction is a multi-year ascending channel that has governed XRP’s price structure since the 2020 bear market lows. The cryptocurrency has been moving within a long ascending channel that stretches from the 2020 low to the 2021 rally, the 2022-2023 accumulation area, and the latest market cycle since 2024.  Related Reading: Analyst Sets $220,000 Minimum Price Target For Bitcoin, But How Will It Get There? Furthermore, the weekly chart shows XRP repeatedly reacting around the lower and middle portions of this channel before attempting to push back to the upper trendline. However, the most notable part of the current positioning is where the XRP price is sitting within this structure. The ascending channel is connected to higher lows, and the lower trendline is currently around $1.2 to $1.4.  This means the cryptocurrency recently tested and held the lower boundary of the channel and has since begun curling upward, with the next projection being a return to the upper trendline of the channel. This movement implies that XRP is now in the early stages of what could become its most powerful channel rally to date. Interestingly, the upper boundary of the channel is currently around $12, which corresponds to the pundit’s prediction of an $8 to $12 price target zone for XRP. The Fibonacci levels on the chart also support the bullish projection. The 1.618 extension from the channel’s low is around $12.15, and this makes the $12 target more than a random number in the analysis. It aligns with the upper Fibonacci extension and the projected channel resistance, giving the prediction a technical basis. XRP Price Chart. Source: @CelalKucuker On X What The MACD Is Saying Another pointed element of the chart was highlighted in the MACD panel below the price action. A circled region on the weekly MACD shows the indicator printing a bullish signal, where the blue MACD line is about to cross over the orange one. This setup is similar to previous MACD crossovers that preceded XRP’s major upside moves, including mid-2025, which took the cryptocurrency to a new all-time high of $3.65. Related Reading: Bitcoin Has Entered Its ‘Most Dangerous Quarter,’ And This Expert Is Warning Investors The weekly MACD is starting to print green bars, and if this is sustained, it would add momentum confirmation to the bounce from the lower trendline of the ascending channel. In order for Kucuker’s 2027 predicted timeline to hold, XRP would need to clear several intermediate resistance levels before the end of the year, including the psychologically significant $2.00 price level, the $3.65 price peak, and the 1.272 and 1.414 Fibonacci extensions at $4.42 and $6.70, respectively. Crypto pundit Vincent Van Code has explained what a $5 trillion Fed master account, which Ripple is eyeing, could mean for XRP. This comes as the Fed weighs rolling out skinny master accounts for crypto firms, which could also provide them access to the central bank’s payment rails.  What A Fed Master Account For Ripple Could Mean For XRP In an X post, Vincent Van Code stated that a Fed master account for Ripple means that the company can hold its RLUSD backing balance with the Fed without counterparty risk. He further noted that the $5 trillion is a glimpse into how much RLUSD will be printed. The pundit then alluded to the RLUSD/XRP pair, suggesting that XRP’s value could increase significantly as it is used to enable cross-border asset exchanges.  Related Reading: Ripple Execs Are Firing Back And XRP Investors Could Be In For A Good Time In line with this, Vincent Van Code declared that there are big plans in store for XRP and that the flywheel hasn’t yet spun up. The pundit suggested that XRP holders simply have to be patient as these plans materialize. In another X post, he explained the model for how a Fed master account could send XRP to at least $80 based on Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s prediction that over 30% of Ripple Treasury’s $13 trillion could be on-chain by 2031.  The pundit noted that 30% of $13 trillion is around $5 trillion and that a Fed master account is also $5 trillion. He further remarked that a potential monthly release of 1 billion XRP from escrow at $80 per XRP would reach $5 trillion in about 60 months. Vincent Van Code added that he may be wrong, but that the model adds up. He added that XRP reaching $80 by 2032 will shock some people, but those who bought at $0.50 could see a 160x return.  30% of Ripple Treasury’s $15 Trillion Could Move On-chain In an X post, Crypto pundit ChartNerd highlighted Ripple CEO’s statement that 30% of their treasury business could move on-chain in the next five years. Garlinghouse noted how this could provide more liquidity in the crypto ecosystem, potentially boosting XRP’s price, with the firm already integrating the altcoin into their treasury management system.  Related Reading: Why Does Ripple Keep Unlocking And Selling Millions Of XRP Every Month? The Ripple CEO also mentioned that their treasury business is seeing greater adoption among large- to mid-sized companies, with American Airlines as a client. Garlinghouse also alluded to their dashboard, which makes payments easier, seeing as they have now integrated XRP and RLUSD with fiat on the same dashboard.  At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $1.38, down in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Ripple and XRP are now tied to a sweeping claim of 13,000 banking connections and $12.5 trillion in payment activity. The scale draws immediate attention and prompts closer examination of how XRP fits within a network this large and operates across such an extensive financial system. XRP And Ripple’s 13,000-Bank Reach: What Connects Them? The scale of 13,000 connected banks begins with how Ripple links financial institutions without requiring them to abandon existing systems. Instead of replacing banking infrastructure, the company built a framework that integrates with it. This approach allows thousands of banks to operate within a shared network while still relying on their established processes. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Expansion To $97,000 Is Only Being Blocked By One Pesky Retest At the center of this structure is Ripple’s treasury platform, which unifies payment flows and liquidity tracking in one environment. It delivers a consolidated view of cash positions, giving institutions the ability to monitor and manage funds across borders in real time. Such visibility becomes essential when transaction volumes extend into the trillions. A key step in expanding this capability came with the $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury in 2025. This added established treasury management tools widely used in corporate finance, strengthening Ripple’s ability to coordinate large-scale financial activity. By integrating tested technology rather than building entirely new systems, the network expanded more efficiently while maintaining compatibility with existing operations. This structure clarifies the 13,000-bank figure. It reflects connectivity through a unified system rather than a complete shift into new infrastructure. The network functions as a bridge across institutions, enabling interaction within a shared financial layer while preserving internal systems. XRP’s Role Inside The $12.5 Trillion Payment Flow The next focus is on volume, and this is where XRP’s role becomes more defined. Within a system handling $12.5 trillion in payments, efficiency in moving value across borders becomes essential. Positioned within Ripple’s infrastructure, XRP functions as a liquidity tool designed to support faster and more flexible value transfer across currencies. Traditional cross-border payments often depend on pre-funded accounts in multiple currencies, which ties up capital and slows transactions. XRP offers an alternative by acting as an intermediary asset, allowing value to move between currencies without requiring those reserves. This function aligns with the demands of a system processing large-scale payment flows. Related Reading: Bitcoin Renko Mari-Ashi Reveals Where The Bottom Lies And When The Rise Will Begin Again Still, the reported $12.5 trillion does not imply that every transaction runs through XRP. Ripple’s platform supports multiple payment methods, giving institutions flexibility depending on regulatory requirements and operational preferences. XRP is used in specific scenarios where speed, cost efficiency, and liquidity access are priorities. The figures shared by BSCNews point to a broader infrastructure rather than a single-channel system. XRP operates within that structure as a targeted solution, not the sole mechanism behind the entire volume. Its role becomes clearer when viewed in context: part of a larger financial network designed to move value efficiently across thousands of connected institutions. Days after the Senate Banking Committee released its draft language for the CLARITY Act, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse delivered a blunt message about the road ahead for the delayed crypto market-structure bill.  Speaking Tuesday at CoinDesk’s Consensus Miami event, Garlinghouse said the next two weeks could prove decisive—not just for the momentum of the legislation, but for whether it ultimately clears one of the last key procedural hurdle. Ripple CEO Defends CLARITY Act Compromise Garlinghouse emphasized that the CLARITY Act passage is still not guaranteed. He pointed to the Senate Banking Committee’s long-awaited hearing as the immediate turning point. Without that progression, he warned, the odds for the broader package would deteriorate quickly. “If it doesn’t happen then, I think the likelihood is going to drop precipitously,” he said. Even so, he added that he still believes the bill is likely to advance. Related Reading: XRP Near $1.40—What Could Spark A Move To $1.70, And How The CLARITY Act Fits In The CLARITY Act draft, as previously reported by Bitcoinist and echoed across coverage through the weekend, is designed to curb certain yield practices in the crypto sector—particularly by restricting how crypto firms handle stablecoins used for payments.  Under the draft, crypto companies would be barred from paying customers “any form of interest or yield” simply for holding payment stablecoins. The intent, according to the framing around the bill, is to align the treatment of stablecoin holdings with how traditional banks handle deposits. At the same time, the bill includes an important carve-out. Companies would be allowed to offer incentives or rewards, but only if those benefits are not functionally or economically comparable to the interest a customer would receive on a bank deposit.  That distinction—between permissible promotional incentives and incentives that could be viewed as effectively equivalent to deposit yield—has been one of the most contested negotiation points in the process since the CLARITY Act began taking shape.  Garlinghouse acknowledged that the outcome does not fully satisfy every concern. “Do I think it’s perfect? Hell, no,” he said. He described the bill as a product of tradeoffs and compromises, but argued that the goal of regulatory “clarity” is still better than leaving the sector to operate in uncertainty.  The Fight Over What Counts As ‘Yield’ Eleanor Terrett of Crypto In America reported on Monday that some in crypto were interpreting the CLARITY Act draft as a win for banks, arguing that a broad “no yield” approach would give traditional institutions an advantage.  However, banks appear to be looking at the language differently—some are reportedly worried that the compromise may not go far enough to prevent crypto firms from finding ways around it. Related Reading: DTCC Tokenized Securities Roadmap: Pilot In July, Scale Up In October—With Big Names Like Ripple By Tuesday, Terrett said a split is forming in bank circles over the yield compromise itself. Some institutions—especially larger banks with consumer-facing operations—are said to be taking issue with parts of the final wording.  Meanwhile, those without similar consumer arms reportedly appear more comfortable with the direction of the CLARITY Act compromise. Community banks are also signaling interest, though the industry group ICBA has voiced concerns over how the approach may affect their perspective and interests. Terrett also relayed the concerns of at least one major bank that shares the view held by some negotiators: the core problem is that the CLARITY Act language could be drafted too narrowly, leaving room for crypto companies to repackage or restructure “yield-like” rewards in ways that still resemble bank deposit interest.  At the time of writing, the price of Ripple’s associated cryptocurrency, XRP, was $1.41, marking a 2.5% increase over the past week.  Featured image from OpenArt, chart from TradingView.com

XRP has never lacked lofty price targets, but the latest comments around a possible move to $10,000 have led to a direct response from one of the most familiar voices in the Ripple ecosystem. David Schwartz, Ripple’s former chief technology officer and one of the original architects of the XRP Ledger, has pushed back against the idea by pointing to a simple market question. According to him, if serious capital truly believed in even a small chance of that outcome, why is XRP still trading at its current level? David Schwartz Challenges The $10,000 XRP Predictions The XRP community has long been home to some of the most ambitious price forecasts in crypto. Numbers like $10,000, $20,000, and above circulate regularly on social media, often backed by the outlook of financial institutions adopting the XRP Ledger for facilitating payments. Related Reading: Does The Ethereum 300% Boost In Capacity Mean Price Can Rise 3x To $6,000? David Schwartz, who departed as Ripple CTO in December 2025, addressed the $10,000 XRP prediction head-on during a discussion on X earlier this week. The motivation for Schwartz’s comments was a question from an X user who asked him to respond to valuation theories built around a crypto adaptation of analyst Chris Burniske’s equation of Price = PQ / (V × S). Some market commentators have used the model to support very high projections for digital assets, including XRP. According to Schwartz, if there were a few very rich and very rational people who really believed that there was a 1% chance that XRP could hit $10,000 in 10 years, then they would’ve bid XRP up to at least $20 today. A move to $20 would still be huge from XRP’s current level, but it is nowhere near $10,000.  The Gag Order Claim At the time of writing, XRP is trading $1.41, with a market cap of $86.7 billion and a circulating supply of about 61.8 billion tokens. At $10,000 per XRP, that same circulating supply would imply a valuation around $618 trillion. Therefore, the point made by Schwartz is that even a remote chance of such a massive future price and market should already be attracting aggressive buying from large investors if it were credible. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Expansion To $97,000 Is Only Being Blocked By One Pesky Retest The conversation did not stop at XRP price predictions. Schwartz also addressed suggestions that he may be restricted from speaking fully about XRP or Ripple. He noted that he has never signed any agreement that required him to lie, adding that he would choose silence or avoidance over giving an answer he did not believe was truthful and accurate. Schwartz also took aim at claims that Ripple holds an undisclosed mechanism that will one day be revealed and send the XRP price above $100. “For one thing, circumstances have changed so much that it’s hard to imagine we’ve held onto this magic switch for so long and it’s still just waiting to go,” he said. Interestingly, this is not the first time Schwartz has spoken against ultra-bullish XRP price predictions. Back in January, he pointed out that even a modest chance of XRP reaching $100 within a few years would already be reflected in its current price. XRP holders are seeing measurable developments on the XRP Ledger that signal growing network activity and expanding real-world use cases. Recent data posted by crypto enthusiast @mrcauliman on X points to several indicators suggesting the infrastructure supporting XRP is evolving in ways investors should monitor closely. Surging Activity On The XRP Ledger One of the clearest developments XRP holders should watch is the increasing activity on the XRP Ledger. Metrics highlighted by @mrcauliman show the network processed around 2.4 million transactions within 24 hours, while new ledgers closed at an average interval of about 3.9 seconds. Related Reading: Industry Expert Samson Mow Reveals When The Bitcoin Price Will Hit $1M Beyond transaction numbers, the value of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on the ledger has been expanding. A key contributor is Ondo Finance, which has deployed around $323 million worth of tokenized assets onto the network. Additional projects, including Doppler Finance and OpenEden, have further increased the amount of traditional financial instruments represented on-chain. Stablecoin adoption is also strengthening the ledger’s financial ecosystem. The total value of stablecoins circulating on the network has climbed to roughly $446 million, led by RLUSD, a stablecoin introduced by Ripple. Stable assets are important in blockchain finance because they provide liquidity and settlement stability for trading, payments, and decentralized finance applications. For investors, these developments point to a network steadily expanding beyond its original payment-focused use case. Rising transaction volumes, increasing tokenized asset value, and growing stablecoin liquidity indicate the XRP Ledger is positioning itself as a broader financial infrastructure that could influence long-term demand for XRP. New XRPL Lending Features And Improved Efficiency Alongside increasing activity, new functionality is also being introduced to the XRP Ledger. Network participants are currently voting on amendments designed to enable native lending capabilities within the protocol. If approved, these changes would allow the ledger to support lending mechanisms directly on-chain, adding another financial layer to its existing payment and settlement features. The amendment process shows how upgrades are implemented on the network. Validators vote on proposed changes, and once a supermajority supports an amendment for a sustained period, the feature becomes active. According to the discussion highlighted by mrcauliman, the current proposals are progressing through this governance process without disruption. Related Reading: Ethereum Price To Rally 100% In 2026: Here’s Where It Will Start And End Another frequently highlighted advantage of the XRP Ledger is its energy efficiency. Unlike proof-of-work networks that require extensive computational resources, XRPL’s consensus model consumes very small amounts of electricity per transaction. Industry estimates often suggest that a single transaction on the network can use less energy than a typical online search, making it one of the more energy-efficient blockchain infrastructures currently operating. When these factors are considered together—high transaction throughput, increasing tokenized asset value, growing stablecoin liquidity, potential lending capabilities, and low energy consumption, they present a broader picture of infrastructure growth. For XRP holders, these metrics indicate that the network underpinning the asset continues expanding in functionality and real-world financial integration, developments that could shape how the ecosystem evolves in the years ahead. A video circulating on X this week has led one of the most persistent debates in the XRP community: just how high can the cryptocurrency’s price go? The clip, shared by pseudonymous account XRP Bags, features a woman describing what she calls a divine vision in which the altcoin appeared on her personal trading platform at a price of $25,000.  This is not the first time XRP has been subjected to ultra-bullish price predictions, but most of them have been based on technical analysis and/or the premise of adoption.  A $25,000 XRP Prediction Rooted In A Vision The prediction in question originates from a crypto commentator who claims the figure was revealed through a vision, not through market analysis or financial modeling. According to her account, she saw an exchange interface, the same one she uses to place buy and sell orders, and within it, XRP was priced at $25,000. Related Reading: Ethereum Price To Rally 100% In 2026: Here’s Where It Will Start And End This prediction was initially shared by a well-known XRP community member account known as XRP Bags, and it immediately separates the claim from conventional forecasts. Most price targets, even the more ambitious ones above $10,000, are built on the premise of liquidity in the tune of trillions of dollars flowing through the XRP Ledger or regulatory developments. In this case, the foundation is entirely different, placing it outside the usual frameworks used by analysts and institutions. Her description adds another uncertainty to how much the vision actually puts the XRP price trading at. The denomination of the price was not entirely clear, leaving open the possibility that it may have been displayed in a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC, or even in pounds. “Coming out of that experience, I think I came out thinking it was 25,000 pounds. I’m not sure, but I’ll be honest with you between then and now I’m not sure if it was pounds or USDC or USDT,” she said. Where Does The Altcoin Stand Today? XRP’s current price reality is far from double digits, let alone the extravagant $25,000 price target. XRP is trading at $1.39 as of the time of writing. Therefore, the current state of the altcoin provides a useful basis for what would need to change for any version of that number to become meaningful.  Related Reading: Why The 42% Crash From ATH Is Actually Good For Bitcoin And The Crypto Market There are, however, measurable developments supporting the altcoin’s longer-term outlook. Spot XRP ETF products have received cumulative inflows of approximately $1.29 billion since launching in November 2025. April alone has recorded about $83.83 million in net inflows, making it the strongest month of the year so far. This steady accumulation shows confidence is building among institutional investors, which is one factor alongside regulations and adoption from banks that could support its long-term outlook. Models from Bitwise place the realistic upside target for XRP at $4.94 for end-2026, with $2.80 representing the moderate base case under current conditions. A $100 XRP price is theoretically possible over decades but not under current structural conditions, let alone $25,000. Featured image from Dall.E, chart from TradingView.com

The mechanics behind XRP’s supply have always been public. A breakdown on X from crypto commentator Crypto Tony looks at the process of XRP unlocks in particular, with the theory that the payments technology company is, in fact, diluting every holder of XRP. The Escrow Machine and How It Works In a detailed post on X, a crypto commentator known as Crypto Tony laid out an interesting theory as to why Ripple keeps unlocking and selling millions of XRP every month to his hundreds of thousands of followers.  Related Reading: 4-Figure XRP: How High Will The Price Be If Ripple Captures 50% Of SWIFT? To understand the controversy, it starts with how XRP was created and distributed. When XRP launched in 2012, all 100 billion tokens were minted at once. Ripple’s founders took 20 billion for themselves and handed the remaining 80 billion to the company. For the first five years, nothing legally prevented Ripple from selling as much of that supply as it wanted. In late 2017, the company placed 55 billion XRP into escrow accounts on the XRP Ledger. These escrows release up to 1 billion XRP every month, automatically, on a fixed schedule. This was probably meant to address concerns that Ripple could flood the market at any time. Based on that framework, Ripple releases one billion XRP each month but relocks between 60% and 80% of the tokens, and they keep the rest, which is roughly 200 to 300 million XRP. According to Crypto Tony, the remainder is kept by Ripple and used to fund the entire company.  Ripple Is Diluting XRP Holders A major part of the analyst’s discussion is how Ripple has been diluting the value of traders holding XRP, citing major examples as to how this is happening.  Related Reading: Is XRP The Solution To Everything? Ripple President Drops Bombshell That Changes Everything That funding model has been acknowledged publicly. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has previously indicated in interviews that XRP sales play a role in sustaining the company. The more uncomfortable chapter noted by Crypto Tony concerns how Ripple has, at various points, used its commercial partnerships to move XRP into the market through a secondary layer of sellers. An example is when Ripple paid MoneyGram more than $61 million in market development fees to use XRP. MoneyGram subsequently told reporters it sold XRP as soon as it received it, holding no inventory of the token.  The SEC addressed this arrangement in its complaint against Ripple, writing that MoneyGram had become a conduit for Ripple’s unregistered XRP sales.  According to Crypto Tony, every holder of XRP is being slowly diluted by the company itself, by design, on a monthly schedule that’s written into the blockchain. This is a major reason as to why XRP is now down six consecutive months.  Crypto Tony also mentioned Jed McCaleb, co-founder of Ripple, as another conduit through which the holdings of XRP holders were diluted. McCaleb left the company with 9 billion XRP and spent 8 years dumping about $3.2 billion worth of his holdings. At the time of writing, Ripple still has about 33.355 billion XRP in its escrow wallets, according to data from XRPScan. Featured image from Pxfuel, chart from Tradingview.com

The XRP price is still consolidating around the $1.4 level after months of sideways trading. Despite this weak performance and slow growth, analysts continue to maintain a strong bullish outlook for the cryptocurrency. According to market expert Javon Marks, XRP is now at a critical retest area that could determine its next parabolic move. He believes this retest could act as the trigger for a potential 900% rally, possibly pushing XRP toward $15. XRP 2014 Fractal Pattern Points To 900% Rally In his latest XRP price analysis on X, Marks shared a strong bullish outlook for the cryptocurrency, citing historical chart patterns and past price action. The analyst noted that XRP has been maintaining strength off a clear breakout retest area around $1.40, suggesting a major upward move toward $15 could follow.  Related Reading: The Bitcoin Cycle Is Different: Crypto Expert Reveals When Price Will Cross $100,000 Again Explaining why this retest zone matters, Marks drew comparisons between XRP’s current cycle and its price action during the 2014-2018 market cycle. Before XRP’s parabolic rally to an all-time high in 2018, the cryptocurrency had broken out of a similar retest zone.  During that period, XRP formed a descending wedge or triangle pattern from 2014 to 2017, trading sideways within the formation for years. Throughout that phase, the cryptocurrency saw repeated upward surges followed by sharp pullbacks to new lows. However, after a prolonged consolidation period, the price began to move higher and later returned to retest the trendline around the triangle’s upper boundary near $1.40.  That retest preceded a major breakout, with XRP’s price exploding upward, marking the start of its historical 2017-2018 bull run that pushed its price toward its $3.84 ATH. From that retest area to its peak, XRP recorded a more than 174% gain. Building on this historical setup, Marks believes that XRP is repeating that same pattern in the current cycle. If the formation plays out similarly, the analyst predicts that the cryptocurrency could be setting up for another explosive rally.   XRP Retest At $1.40 Signals Possible Move To $15 Notably, Marks’ chart shows that XRP has formed the same triangle pattern that led to its parabolic rally in 2018. Since reaching its ATH, the cryptocurrency has traded sideways within that triangle for years. However, unlike the 2014-2018 cycle, XRP had experienced an earlier breakout from the pattern. It broke above the upper trendline in 2025, then surged toward $3.5 before pulling back soon after.  Related Reading: Analyst Predicts A 30% Bitcoin Price Crash To $50,000, Here’s When Following that reversal, the XRP price has continued trending downwards, trimming most of its past gains. However, Marks noted that the cryptocurrency is now returning to retest this broken trendline. According to him, if XRP can hold this level long enough, it could spark a massive parabolic move toward $15, representing a more than 900% (10x) rally from that level.  Featured image created with Dall.E, chart from Tradingview.com

Following the drawdown from 2025, the XRP price has dropped by more than 50% from its cycle peak to struggle below $1.5. With the recent recovery, there has been some improvement in the price action, but the sustainability of the rally remains to be seen. As the sideways action continues, the question now remains if the XRP price will be able to hit $3 again in 2026, which would be an over 100% increase from its current levels. XRP Price Will Not Go Above $2.3 The Crypto Predictions website shows the possible trajectories for digital assets, and the predictions for the XRP price are not especially bullish. While there is expected to be some increase in the XRP price, there is no major surge coming for the cryptocurrency. Related Reading: The Dogecoin Breakout That Could Send Price Rallying 3,000% To $4 Instead of a sustained increase, the prediction shows fluctuating price performances for the coin. For example, the prediction shows that the maximum price that XRP will reach in the month of April is $2.277, and interestingly, this is the highest level predicted for the year 2026. While there is the expectation that the price will reach above $2, the average price prediction comes down to the fact that XRP will continue to trend below $2. Double-digit increases is likely as the price is expected to sit higher than where it currently is. However, there is no indication that there will be a rally above $3. CoinCodex Prediction Shows Similar Trajectory Just like the Crypto Predictions website, the CoinCodex website forecasts that it is unlikely that the XRP price will hit $3 in the year 2026. The next few months are expected to be slightly bullish, showing possible double-digit predictions that will send it higher. But the majority of the predictions still remain below $2. Related Reading: ‘The Short Version For Why I Hold XRP Through Everything’; Analyst Reveals However, as the year moves toward an end, the CoinCodex website shows that the XRP price will eventually reach above $2, to possibly top out at a max price of $2.25. This would be a 57.28% increase compared to where the cryptocurrency is currently trading. As for when the XRP price might reach $3, the website says it might be a long wait, showing a two-year stretch until 2028. Then, at the start of 2028, in January, the XRP price is expected to possibly cross $3 to a max price of $3.39. But the rest of the year is expected to play out below $3. The possibility of the XRP price trading at $100 in 2026 is very bleak, but one crypto pundit believes this can be possible if some dominoes fall one after another. The pundit laid out a seven-point scenario under which XRP could reach $100 before the year is out, a price target that would require the cryptocurrency to gain over 6,900% from current levels and push its market capitalization past $6 trillion. The Domino Theory Behind A $100 XRP Call The forecast of XRP hitting $100 in 2026, which was posted on X by an analyst going by the handle Pumpius, raises the question of what needs to happen for that future to arrive this fast. The post was structured as a conditional argument, a chain of events that must all occur for the target to be achievable.  The $100 target as a scenario dependent on a near-perfect convergence of institutional and regulatory forces. First, Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity service must see explosive global uptake, with banks and payment giants routing trillions in cross-border volume through the XRP Ledger.  Related Reading: The Hidden FVG Zone That Says Ethereum Price Could Rally To $10,000 Second, XRP spot ETFs must see billions pouring in weekly to transform the asset into an institutional holding comparable to Bitcoin and Ethereum. Interestingly, Spot XRP ETFs have shown some life recently. XRP ETFs recorded $55.39 million in net inflows in the previous week, the highest weekly total since mid-January.  The third condition on Pumpius’ list is full regulatory clarity, the CLARITY Act passing, more jurisdictions classifying XRP as a non-security, and partnerships at SWIFT scale worldwide. The SEC and CFTC jointly classified XRP as a digital commodity in March 2026. The remaining legislative piece, the CLARITY Act, pending a vote expected in April 2026, would, if passed, remove any remaining legal confusion. Conditions four through seven cover a tokenization boom on the XRP Ledger, a supply shock caused by whale accumulation and reduced escrow releases, a Bitcoin-led bull market supercycle where the leading cryptocurrency smashes new all-time highs, and a multiplication of Ripple’s institutional partnerships from 300 to thousands. Where The Math Breaks Down Each condition in isolation is at least theoretically plausible. For a $100 XRP price to materialize in 2026, all seven must converge simultaneously and at a scale that the cryptocurrency has never come close to demonstrating.  Related Reading: Bitwise Research Shows How Much Loss Your Bitcoin Incurs Depending On How Long You Hold At that price, XRP’s valuation would climb into the multi-trillion-dollar range, surpassing the size of any crypto asset seen so far. The market cap arithmetic alone is daunting. At $100 per token, XRP’s market cap would need to exceed $6 trillion, which is almost three times the total crypto market cap as it stands today. Most data-based forecasts for 2026 are far more conservative. For instance, Changelly’s prediction puts XRP ending the year somewhere around $2.40. Standard Chartered’s Geoffrey Kendrick, one of the more bullish institutional voices on XRP, also recently trimmed his 2026 target for XRP from $8 to $2.80. One analyst on social media platform X has taken the optimism on XRP to an extreme, arguing that a $1,000 XRP price is no longer a stretch scenario but something that is almost certain within the next year. The claim arrives at an unusual moment. XRP has not had a green month since September 2025, and the cryptocurrency is currently trading around $1.35, down 63% from its $3.65 all-time high. Here’s Why XRP Will Reach $1,000 A crypto analyst known as Pumpius on X has outlined a powerful bull case for XRP, declaring it almost certain that the cryptocurrency’s price will reach $1,000 by 2027. The foundation of the analyst’s argument begins with a factor that has defined XRP’s recent trajectory, which is the resolution of its long-running legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.  Related Reading: It’s Too Early For A Bitcoin Price Bottom, Here’s What You Should Be Looking At According to Pumpius, the case closing in 2025 removed a barrier that had suppressed institutional participation for years, effectively repositioning XRP alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum as a compliant digital asset. On March 17, the SEC and the CTFC issued new guidance formally classifying XRP as a digital commodity, also ending the legal overhang that had persisted since 2020. Spot XRP exchange-traded funds arrived shortly after. Seven spot XRP ETFs are now live, holding combined assets under management around $1 billion. The early months were stronger; total assets under management in these ETFs peaked at $1.24 billion in January 2026. Outside regulatory clarity, the analyst pointed to continued expansion from Ripple as a major factor behind the bullish outlook. Over the past year, Ripple has leaned deeper into institutional finance, strengthening its positioning through acquisitions. Developments connected to RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin initiative, alongside growing activity on the XRP Ledger, were also presented as evidence that the network is growing past simple payments. Can XRP Realistically Reach $1,000 By 2027? According to Pumpius, macro winds are perfect for XRP to reach $1,000 by 2027. Pro-crypto rules, banks jumping in and altcoin season rotation all line up. Bitcoin ETFs showed the path. XRP brings efficiency plus real-world breakthroughs like DNA. Related Reading: Why A Bitcoin Price Breakdown To $50,000 Could Be Important For Long-Term Bullishness Speaking of DNA, this is in reference to the integration of DNA Protocol, which introduces zero-knowledge proof functionality to the XRP Ledger. The DNA Protocol lets people tokenize their own genetic data, KYC credentials and personal identity into private portable tokens. This functionality with billions of users could dramatically increase demand for the network if adopted at scale. This, in turn, would create utility that multiplies the cryptocurrency’s value.  Despite the conviction behind the forecast, reaching $1,000 from current price levels around $1.35 to $1,000 is a 74,000% increase, and this comes with many challenges. At a circulating supply of over 61.4 billion tokens, such a move would imply a market cap of $61.4 trillion, far exceeding the entire GDP of the United States.
