Bitcoin has shown renewed strength on the weekly timeframe by resuming a steady uptrend that began earlier in the year. After several weeks of ranging between $110,000 and $120,000, Bitcoin is now on intense momentum supported by institutional demand, which has led to a new all-time high in the past 24 hours. Interestingly, technical analysis of Bitcoin’s weekly price chart shows the cryptocurrency is gearing up for an explosion to $200,000. This projection is based on Bitcoin’s ongoing price behavior being an exact replica of Gold’s rally during the 1970s. Bitcoin Aligning With the 1970s Gold Rally An interesting technical analysis shared by Mikybull Crypto on the social media platform X details how Bitcoin’s price action on the 1-week and 2-week candlestick charts is following a path walked by Gold in prior decades. His latest post on X draws parallels between Bitcoin’s ongoing price behavior and Gold’s rally during the 1970s, an era that saw the precious metal surge massively. Now, it seems that Bitcoin is now mirroring that same macro setup and could be gearing toward a price explosion to $200,000 or higher. Related Reading: Here’s The Best Time To Buy Bitcoin As Impulse Wave Sets Path To $150,000 In one of the charts shared by Mikybull, Gold’s price action from the mid-1970s to 1980 is overlaid with Bitcoin’s multi-year trajectory. This Gold price chart shows a consolidation phase followed by a powerful breakout in the late 1970s. According to Mikybull, Bitcoin’s structure follows this trend almost perfectly. In his analysis, he noted that Bitcoin’s price is forming higher lows above a macro ascending trendline, the same kind of structure that preceded Gold’s explosive run. Gold’s third breakout wave (Wave 5) ushered in this run, and Mikybull projected that Bitcoin is now entering a similar phase, as shown by the blue ellipse in the chart below. Mikybull’s comparison also integrated the legendary Livermore Speculative Chart, which is an early 20th-century framework, to track Bitcoin’s behavior. Bitcoin’s price action on the weekly timeframe follows a structure labeled from one through ten, each level corresponding to phases in the Livermore Speculative Chart. Why Bitcoin Can Explode To $200,000 May Only Be the Beginning For Bitcoin As shown in the chart above, Bitcoin is currently trading around the 1.272 Fibonacci extension level below $125,000 and is playing out the eighth stage of Livermore’s speculative cycle. Current market trends point to Bitcoin advancing past the eighth stage at the 1.618 Fib level ($145,355) to then advance to the ninth stage of the cycle, which is just above the 2.618 Fibonacci extension level at $204,000. After that lies the tenth stage, around the 3.618 extension at $262,000, projected to be the final peak of this cycle based on Livermore’s speculative cycle. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $121,450, having retraced slightly after its most recent all-time high of $126,080 on October 6. Bitcoin supply on exchanges has hit a new low for the first time in six years, providing a bullish outlook for BTC. This comes as the flagship crypto continues to hit new all-time highs (ATHs), with the $130,000 target now in sight. Bitcoin Supply On Exchanges Hit Six-Year Low Glassnode data shows that the Bitcoin supply on exchanges has fallen to a six-year low of around 2.8 million BTC. The last time the BTC balance on exchanges was this low was in June 2019, when the flagship crypto was trading at around $8,745. This development confirms that investors are accumulating Bitcoin at an unprecedented pace. CryptoQuant data also confirms this development, with the Bitcoin exchange reserve currently at 2.5 million BTC, even lower than what is shown on Glassnode’s dashboard. This is bullish for the BTC price, as such massive demand usually precedes a major supply squeeze. Notably, this comes amid an increased demand from institutional investors, with the BTC ETFs recording $3.2 billion in weekly inflows last week, their second-largest since their launch last year. Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Still On Track To Hit $165,000, JPMorgan Analysts Reveal Timeline This comes as institutional investors move to Bitcoin as a safe-haven asset as part of the debasement trade during this period of uncertainty caused by the U.S. government shutdown. Thanks to the increased demand, BTC is already up 9% to start this month and rallied to multiple all-time highs amid the ‘Uptober’ rally. The Bitcoin price topped $126,000 for the first time ever yesterday and now looks on course to test the $130,000 milestone. With the massive demand from the BTC ETFs, there is the belief that the flagship crypto could hit this milestone this month. SoSo Value data shows that these funds took in $1.19 billion in net inflows yesterday, their highest daily inflow this year. BTC Could Break Above $130,000 Crypto analyst Titan of Crypto has suggested that Bitcoin is on track to make a new all-time high (ATH) above $130,000. He noted that BTC is testing the same trendline that rejected it a few weeks ago. However, this time around, the weekly MACD is crossing bullish, which could spark the rally above $130,000. His accompanying chart showed that a rally to as high as $140,000 was a possibility if the flagship crypto flips $130,000 into support. Related Reading: Bitcoin’s 2021 Playbook Shows The Final Price Target For This Bull Cycle Crypto analyst Mikybull Crypto also noted that Bitcoin is currently facing resistance around its current price level, making it a key level to watch. He added that a meaningful breakout above this level will send BTC to between $136,000 and $150,000. At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is trading at around $124,500, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com
Crypto analyst Chart Nerd has declared that XRP is set to mirror its 2017 cycle, when the price recorded a parabolic rally. He further revealed how high the altcoin could reach, with a double-digit price on the cards. XRP Could Mirror 2017 Cycle And Eyes Rally To $27 Chart Nerd stated that XRP is gearing up for a 2017-style run and is unlikely to decline as low as $0.50. Instead, the analyst believes that the altcoin will hold the line above $2, which is the January 2018 candle close highs, and then record a parabolic rally to its Fibonacci extension targets at $8, $13, $15, and $27. Related Reading: XRP Flips Green For First Time Since 2017, Pundit Predicts 500% Rally Chart Nerd was responding to an analysis from Captain Toblerone, who had earlier stated that XRP would continue to bleed until it reached $0.50. He advised XRP holders that if they are still in profit, it is not too late to sell 50% of their holdings or more and keep the cash to buy other, cheaper altcoins. As part of his bullish outlook for XRP, Chart Nerd also noted that many of the altcoin’s largest returns have come from large Q4 rallies. He revealed that XRP recorded gains of 426%, 1,064%, and 240% in Q4 2014, 2017, and 2024, respectively. As such, there is the possibility that the altcoin could mount another run in this fourth quarter. The XRP ETFs are expected to launch this fourth quarter and could serve as a catalyst for higher prices for the altcoin, similar to the same impact that the Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs had on BTC and ETH, respectively. Crypto pundit UnknowDLT had also warned XRP holders not to sell their tokens in the next three months, noting that ISO 20022 global adoption is expected to occur by November 22, which could be positive for Ripple and XRP, by extension. A Rally To $21 Is Possible In an X post, crypto analyst Mikybull Crypto suggested that an XRP surge to $21 in this final massive rally was possible. However, he added that his conservative targets are between $6 and $10, although he noted that anything is possible in crypto. Notably, the analyst has in the past alluded to the 2017 cycle as one of the reasons why the altcoin could stage another parabolic rally. Related Reading: XRP Price Faces 25% Drawdown Risk, But This Technical Point Is Key Meanwhile, crypto analyst Egrag Crypto also believes that XRP could rally to double-digits. He noted that the altcoin recorded a 1,250% rally in 2017 and a 560% surge in 2021. In line with this, the analyst remarked that if history repeats itself, then the altcoin could rally to $33 or $17 based on the gains recorded in 2017 and 2021, respectively. At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.96, down over 2% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Featured image from Adobe Stock, chart from Tradingview.com
Crypto pundit Mikybull Crypto has revealed that XRP has flipped green for the first time since 2017. Based on this, he predicted that the altcoin could record a rally of up to 500%, reaching $15 in the process. XRP Eyes Rally To $15 As Price Flips Green In an X post, Mikybull Crypto predicted that XRP could rally to between $5 and $15. This came as the analyst noted that the altcoin has flipped green on the quarterly chart for the first time since 2017. He suggested that the rally of up to 500% may already be underway, noting that XRP has already broken above the resistance, just as it did in 2017. In a follow-up X post, Mikybull Crypto doubled down on his bullish sentiment towards XRP, stating that the altcoin’s big move is incoming as it is heading for a mega breakout. His accompanying chart indicated that the key was for XRP to successfully flip the $2.90 level again into support and decisively break above the psychological $3 level. Related Reading: XRP Price Is About To Close A 3M Candle Above This Major Region, Here’s What It Means For Price Meanwhile, crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has made a more bullish forecast for XRP, predicting that it could rally to as high as $33. Like Mikybull Crypto, the analyst also alluded to the 2017 bull cycle as the reason why XRP could witness a parabolic surge to this ambitious price target. However, although he is bullish on XRP in the long term, Egrag Crypto stated that he believes there might be one more flush out before the altcoin rallies to new highs. The crypto analyst further remarked that there is about a 70% chance for a flush before the XRP uptrend continues, which he noted is healthier from a structural point of view. He added that there is a 30% chance of an immediate pump but warned that it will eventually lead to a sharp correction. Egrag Crypto expects XRP to drop to at least $2.65, with the possibility of a further decline to the fair value gap between $2.35 and $2.40. Bearish Divergences Hint At Further Drop Before The Breakout Crypto analyst CasiTrades stated that XRP’s bearish divergences hint at lower support levels before a potential breakout to the upside. She noted that the downside tests remain valid, with $2.79 and $2.58 as the key support levels to watch out for as the altcoin remains below $3. The analyst added that a test of $2.58 could still support a much larger bullish move to new highs. Related Reading: XRP Price Final Low: Here’s The Target To Watch For Next Recovery However, CasiTrades warned that a break below $2.58 would invalidate the bullish market structure and threaten the macro outlook. Meanwhile, she told market participants that when XRP is truly ready to begin wave 3, the macro resistance levels at $2.79, $3, and $3.25 should break cleanly and without hesitation. If XRP continues to hesitate, she believes that further downside testing may be necessary first. At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.8, down in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com
The Dogecoin price may be preparing for what an analyst calls a “face-melting rally,” as fresh bullish technical patterns indicate a potential breakout. A crypto analyst notes that DOGE is entering a critical stage, similar to historical setups that have preceded significant upward moves. If the pattern plays out as expected, it would bolster the market expert’s confidence in the meme coin’s outlook. Rare Setup To Ignite Dogecoin Price Rally Market analyst Mikybull Crypto has drawn attention to a key chart formation that traders rarely encounter, the Bump & Run Reversal Bottom (BARR). According to his technical analysis shared on X social media, Dogecoin has recently completed its “Lead-in” and “Bump” phases, and now sits at the critical “Throwback to Trendline” stage, which typically precedes a steep uphill bull run. Related Reading: Dogecoin Price Could Break Into Double-Digit Rally From This Fibonacci Level The analyst noted that Thomas Bulkowski famously documented this textbook chart formation in his Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns (2005), with the pattern carrying a historical success rate between 64% and 68%. On the weekly chart, DOGE appears to have retested its former downtrend line, now flipped into support, after months of consolidation. If the structure plays out as outlined, Mikybull Crypto predicts that the next leg higher could see Dogecoin experiencing a “face-melting rally,” with its price potentially extending toward the $0.70 – $0.85 range. While the crypto expert’s forecast is ambitious, considering Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.23, it is still consistent with the way this rare pattern has historically unfolded after the “bump” phase, when momentum typically shifts toward buyers. According to Mikybull Crypto, traders should take note, as rallies emerging from this structure often accelerate quickly, leaving late entrants at a disadvantage. Golden Cross And Breakout Potential Point Toward Altseason In other news, crypto market expert Cas Abbe highlights short-term signals on Dogecoin’s daily chart, noting an impending Golden Cross formation. On his chart, the DOGE price action has been moving within an ascending channel and is now approaching the upper resistance band around $0.33. A breakout above this level could act as a major trigger for the broader altcoin market. Related Reading: Dogecoin Price Skirts Potential Demand Zone, What Happens If It Hits Right? Cas Abbe emphasizes that when Dogecoin begins to surge, it often marks the start of the altcoin season, during which capital flows away from Bitcoin into alternative cryptocurrencies, sparking widespread rallies across the sector. Due to this, the analyst notes that the $0.33 resistance remains a critical threshold. A decisive push above it could unleash rapid upward movement in DOGE toward the $0.37 area on the chart. Priced at $0.23 at the time of reporting, Dogecoin is sitting near key Moving Averages (MA), with momentum possibly building. The cryptocurrency has been experiencing its own fair share of price declines following the recent market downturn. CoinMarketCap’s data shows that DOGE has declined by over 4.3% in the last week, and risen by only 5.6% over the past months. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com
Crypto analyst XForce has revealed that the Dogecoin price just broke a regional high, following its reclaim of the $0.3 level. In line with this, he predicted that the meme coin could rally to a new all-time high (ATH) and reach the psychological $1 level. Dogecoin Price Eyes 300% Rally To $1 Following Break Above Regional High In an X post, XForce predicted that the Dogecoin price could record a rally of over 300% to the psychological $1 level. This came as he noted that DOGE just broke above the previous regional high following its climb above $0.3 over the weekend. Based on this, the analyst declared that $1 is still programmed for the meme coin. Related Reading: The Dogecoin Bullish Reset: A Clear Roadmap To $0.35 XForce admitted that there will be pullbacks along the way, but he expects the Dogecoin price to reach this $1 level eventually. The analyst also drew attention to the alternative idea that could lead DOGE to double-digit prices if it continues as a strong impulse. His accompanying chart showed that the meme coin could rally to as high as $18. The Dogecoin price rallied over the weekend in anticipation of the REX-Osprey DOGE ETF, which will be the first fund to provide institutional investors with exposure to the foremost meme coin. This provides a bullish outlook for the meme coin, seeing as it could inject new liquidity into its ecosystem. Furthermore, the Fed is set to make the first rate cut this year at this week’s FOMC meeting, which could also be bullish for the Dogecoin price as it would boost risk-on sentiment. Amid this recent rally, crypto analyst Mikybull Crypto has also declared that the meme coin will reach $1 in this cycle. Meanwhile, crypto analyst Ali Martinez noted that DOGE may consolidate for a bit around these levels before it makes its next leg up toward $0.45. Analyst Issues Warning On DOGE In an X post, crypto analyst CrediBULL Crypto issued a warning on the Dogecoin price, noting that it is at the monthly supply at the moment. He further remarked that if DOGE isn’t breaking out, then it is technically just retesting the prior point of breakdown. Related Reading: What A Dogecoin ETF Approval Means For The Future Of Crypto CrediBULL Crypto stated that a great time to be bullish on the Dogecoin price and jump into longs was before this recent rally. Now, he believes that it is time to be more cautious, as this is the most likely place for DOGE to face a rejection and record lower highs if the bottom isn’t in yet. There is also the possibility that the meme coin could crash if the Fed rate cut and DOGE ETF launch turn out to be a ‘sell the news’ event. At the time of writing, the Dogecoin price is trading at around $0.28, down over 2% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview.com
Crypto analyst BATMAN has revealed that Ethereum is primed to make a parabolic run to a new all-time high (ATH) of $5,000. The analyst also mentioned the first resistance that ETH needs to break to reach this psychological level. Ethereum Ready To Break Out And Reach $5,000 In an X post, BATMAN noted that Ethereum is ready to break out of a massive consolidation and rally towards $5,000. He stated that the first resistance is between $4,000 and $4,200. Once that is done, there is no resistance until between $4,800 and $5,000, which could spark this rally to the $5,000 psychological level. Related Reading: Crypto Founder Reveals What Will Drive Ethereum Price To $10,000 The analyst declared that Ethereum is still in bullish territory and outperforming Bitcoin. As such, he believes any dips from here could be strong buy zones. Indeed, ETH is currently outperforming BTC. The former is up over 61% in the last 30 days while the latter is up just 11% during this period. It is also worth noting that Ethereum is already looking to reclaim the first resistance between $4,000 and $4,200. The largest altcoin by market just recently broke above $3,900 and is now looking to touch $4,000 for the first time since November last year. Crypto analyst Titan of Crypto also indicated that a parabolic move may be on the horizon for ETH. In an X post, he stated that the ETH/BTC chart is heading to the reload zone, which could spark a massive breakout for Ethereum. His accompanying chart showed that the altcoin could rally to between $7,300 and $8,700 on this move. This suggests that a rally to $5,000, as predicted by BATMAN, is unlikely to signal the top for ETH in this market cycle. ETH Dominance Also On The Rise In an X post, crypto analyst Rekt Capital revealed that Ethereum’s dominance is on the rise, increasing to around 12% for the first time in five years. He noted that the last time the ETH dominance reached 12% was exactly five years ago, in July 2020. With this latest increase, Rekt Capital stated that the altcoin’s dominance is now looking to reach as high as 14%. He further noted that this pattern is almost identical to the one which ETH had between 2019 and 2020. The analyst added that the picture looks very bullish right now. He believes that ETH will eventually break out from this range. However, the analyst warned that there may be a 10 to 15% pullback around that area before that. Meanwhile, Crypto Bullet assured that Ethereum will rally hard once it breaks out from this formidable resistance. He predicts that this breakout will lead to a new all-time high (ATH) for ETH, meaning the altcoin is likely to reach $4,900 on the next uptrend. The analyst also stated that the cycle top target for ETH is between $8,000 and $10,000. Crypto analyst Mikybull Crypto is also confident that Ethereum can reach $10,000 before this market cycle ends. In an X post, he stated that the euphoria stage will start when ETH breaks a new all-time high (ATH). He indicated that the break above ATH will spark a rally to between $7,000 and $10,000. Once that happens, the analyst believes that a massive bear market will ensue. ETH Is Yet To Enter The Banana Zone In an X post, crypto analyst Ted stated that Ethereum is yet to enter the banana zone. He noted that right now, the altcoin is going through a correction after pulling a 70% rally from its April 2025 lows.
