As Solana (SOL) breaks out of a multi‑week pattern, some market observers suggest a retest of a key resistance level could be on the horizon. Nonetheless, they also warned that the next leg up could be short‑lived if momentum fails to hold. Related Reading: $150M Crypto Ponzi Crumbles: $41.5M Frozen In DSJ Exchange Collapse Solana Breakout Targets Key Resistance On Wednesday, Solana jumped 4.2% on the daily timeframe, retesting the $90 area for the first time in nearly a month before retracing. The cryptocurrency has been in the $75 to $96 price range since the early February market crash, failing to reclaim the upper zone of this range during this period. Amid today’s surge, analyst Ali Martinez highlighted that Solana was breaking out of an eight-week symmetrical triangle formation, which could lead to a rally toward the local range’s upper boundary. As he explained, a spike in buying pressure could push SOL’s price to $92, a key horizontal resistance over the past three months in the daily and weekly timeframes. If this level is reclaimed, the cryptocurrency’s breakout could extend toward $96, a level not retested since the mid-March market rally. In addition, CryptoRand noted that after its recent price jump, Solana has also broken out of its eight-month downtrend, suggesting that a bullish reversal could be on the horizon if this level holds. However, market observer Daan Crypto Trades pointed out that the altcoin has been consolidating within a 10% range for three months, recording its lowest volatility in years. As a result, the analyst affirmed that a big move would happen sooner than later, but the direction “will entirely depend on which side breaks first. It won’t be a move to fade (…). Likely to see at least a 20-30% leg following the break of this compression.” SOL To Rally Before Next Dump? In an X post, Altcoin Sherpa noted that Solana has underperformed all other majors over the past few months. Unlike Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), SOL has not been able to retest or break out of its three-month range despite the recent market recovery. The analyst affirmed that the altcoin needs bullish conditions and BTC’s price to stabilize to continue climbing higher. Meanwhile, More Crypto Online underscored the importance of SOL’s overall context in a video analysis. He explained that “on the higher timeframe, there is no sign whatsoever that we have a meaningful low in place,” and that “the upside reaction from the February low was just too weak. And the structure that’s even more important does not currently support a long-term rally.” The analyst pointed out that there is “a lot of resistance along the way,” but noted that a counter-trend rally to the $110-$140 area is “a very reasonable expectation” to form a top as long as the February lows hold. Related Reading: Bitcoin Targets $86,000 After Key EMA Reclaim: Is The Next Rally Here? Nonetheless, he considers that “from there, there’s a good chance of going lower, possibly either in a fifth wave down to complete a larger correction in a so-called wave four, or like Bitcoin, the expectation is a more meaningful correction into the mid $30 region.” “So, the market might just need to move up a little bit to complete this correction. Make the crowd bullish again so that the new sellers can come in,” he concluded. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
A crypto analyst has highlighted how Solana could be setting up for a 10% price move based on a technical analysis (TA) pattern in its hourly chart. Solana Could Be Following A Symmetrical Triangle In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has talked about a TA pattern forming in the 1-hour price chart of Solana. The pattern in question is a Symmetrical Triangle, which is a type of consolidation channel that looks, as its name suggests, like a triangle. The pattern involves two trendlines, with the higher one acting like a resistance level, while the lower one provides support. Like with other consolidation patterns in TA, a break out of either of these bounds can signal a breakout in that direction. This means that a surge above the triangle can be a bullish sign and a drop under the lower one a bearish one. Related Reading: Bitcoin Fear & Greed Turns Neutral For First Time Since January The unique feature of a Symmetrical Triangle is that its trendlines are angled at a roughly equal and opposite slope. As the price moves through this channel, its range shrinks down to a midpoint. Like the Symmetrical Triangle, there are also other triangle patterns in TA. The Ascending Triangle forms when the upper trendline is parallel to the time-axis, while the Descending Triangle emerges in the case of a parallel lower level. Now, here is the chart shared by Martinez that shows the Symmetrical Triangle that the hourly Solana price has been trading inside over the last couple of weeks: As displayed in the above graph, the 1-hour Solana price has been making its way through the Symmetrical Triangle and is now near its apex. In this zone, the range naturally becomes tight, so retests of the trendlines tend to turn more frequent. More retests, of course, imply a higher likelihood of a level giving out. Because of this reason, breakouts are generally the likeliest to occur around triangle apexes. In the scenario that a breakout does occur from here for SOL, it’s possible that a sustained move could follow. Based on the height of the triangle, the analyst has noted that this move could be of about 10%. Now, which direction could such a break occur in? Usually, for Symmetrical Triangles, breakouts are considered equally probable in either direction. This is due to the fact that the pattern involves no upward or downward bias, unlike the Ascending and Descending Triangles. Amid the recent market recovery, Solana (SOL) has jumped roughly 10% from last week’s lows, reclaiming the $82 level and retesting a major resistance. However, some market observers have warned that the rally could be short-lived if the cryptocurrency doesn’t turn a key level into support in the coming days. Related Reading: Ethereum Reclaims $2,200, But Analyst Says It’s Not Time To Celebrate Yet – Here’s Why Solana Price In ‘Consolidation Trap’ On Thursday, Solana surged 2.5% to try to reclaim the $84 area after losing this area on Wednesday night. The altcoin has been trading between the $76-$92 levels since February, moving within the lower half of this range over the past two weeks. Ali Martinez highlighted a structural pattern that has been “remarkably consistent” since October 2025. Notably, the analyst explained that Solana has been repeating a three-step cycle every time it has lost momentum over the past six months. According to Martinez, the pattern begins with the reclaim of the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA). This is followed by the rapid failure to hold the 50-day SMA as support. Lastly, SOL enters the “consolidation trap”, a brief, sideways “complacency” period before the actual leg down starts. As the chart shows, the cryptocurrency recorded this pattern in November 2025 and January 2026, when it dropped below the 50-day SMA and consolidated for weeks before the next major sell-off, ultimately resolving lower and reaching a new local bottom. Solana moved above the 50-day SMA in mid-March, when it hit its local top of $97, and has since dropped below it. Now, the altcoin is in its consolidation phase, “drifting sideways” between $79-$81, and sitting below the key SMA near the $86 mark. “If this pattern holds, this sideways movement is not ‘stabilization’—it is the coiling of a new leg down. Based on previous instances, a failure to reclaim the $86 level quickly could project a move toward the $52,” Martinez asserted. SOL Breakdown Imminent? Market observer Leviathan noted that Solana has retested the lower area of its local range seven times since February, and every bounce has gotten weaker after each retest. At the time of writing, the price has been rejected from the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), suggesting that a retest and breakdown from the key $76-$80 support area could be next. “Historically, the more a support level gets tested, the weaker it becomes. Watch this level closely,” he asserted. Analyst Crypto Lens shared a similar outlook, pointing to a potential bearish formation on SOL’s chart. Per the post, the cryptocurrency has been trading in a bearish flag pattern since early February, and broke down from the formation when it dropped below the $81 area in late March. Related Reading: XRP Leads Crypto Funds $224M Rebound With Largest Weekly Inflows Since December This structure also developed in late 2025, leading to a 54% correction after Solana broke down from the pattern. After the recent bounce, the altcoin is retesting the pattern’s lower boundary from support, which could turn this level into resistance if momentum doesn’t hold. “This isn’t random price action, it’s a pattern,” the analyst warned, “If this continues, SOL could be heading toward the $45 zone.” Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
Amid strong institutional demand and regulatory clarity from US authorities, an analyst has suggested that Solana (SOL) could potentially rally above a crucial psychological barrier for the first time in a month. Related Reading: BNB Chain Momentum Grows As Total RWA Value Hits $3B Clear Skies Ahead For Solana Over the past week, Solana has had a remarkable performance, jumping 22% from March lows and breaking out of its multi-week consolidation range. The cryptocurrency has been hovering between the $77 and $92 levels over the past month and a half, failing to break above the upper zone of this range despite multiple attempts. Following the recent crypto market bounce, the altcoin reached a one-month high of $97 at the start of the week, before dropping to $90 on Wednesday. Amid this performance, analyst Ali Martinez reported that SOL recently flashed a key bullish signal for the first time since January, suggesting a relief rally could be ahead. As he explained, the SuperTrend indicator, which is used to identify the current market trend, has turned bullish on Solana, flipping from Sell to Buy on the daily chart. In addition, the market watcher noted that there’s little resistance until the $100 psychological barrier, signaling a potential breakout to $115. Per the post, the UTXO Realized Price Distribution (URPD) metric shows that “a robust demand floor” was established between $85.55 and $82.60, where 76 million SOL tokens were transacted. “This 38-day accumulation phase has effectively exhausted sell-side liquidity. With no significant supply barriers remaining on the horizontal profile, Solana has a clear path toward the $100 psychological level, followed by the $115 liquidity cluster,” he detailed, adding that the “‘ceiling’ is significantly thinner than the current floor.” Martinez emphasized that if Solana holds the 39-day distribution zone that flipped into a structural floor around the $93 area, a bull rally could happen “much faster than people think.” Institutional Demand, Regulatory Clarity Fuel SOL’s Momentum SOL’s anticipated recovery comes as spot Solana Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) record their largest single-day performance in two weeks and their best weekly run since the mid-January market crash. According to SoSoValue data, the category saw $17.81 million in inflows on March 17, its highest single-day net flows since the start of the month, suggesting strong institutional demand. Meanwhile, the SOL-based funds have seen a five-week positive streak despite market volatility, largely fueled by geopolitical tensions. As the report noted, Solana Spot ETFs have cumulative net inflows of $989.3 million amid strong, “just shy of the $1B milestone.” Related Reading: The End Of Ethereum’s Downtrend? As the broader crypto market retraces, Solana (SOL) has erased its recent gains despite strong institutional demand for investment products based on the cryptocurrency. Some analysts have now suggested that the altcoin risks a deeper pullback similar to its 2022 correction. Related Reading: Ethereum ETFs Record Best Single-Day Performance Since January With $169M Inflows Solana Loses Mid-Week Gains As Market Wobbles On Friday, Solana dropped 7% intraday to retest the $84 area again, retracing most of its intraweek gains. The cryptocurrency had been trading between $78-$88 since the early February crash, attempting to break out of its local range but ultimately failing. Amid the ongoing market volatility, driven by the US-Israel war with Iran, the altcoin jumped 13% on Wednesday, reaching a multi-week high of $94.05 before stabilizing between the $88-$92 area. Market observer Trader Tardigrade affirmed that Solana could target the $100 barrier if the breakout confirmed. He noted that the cryptocurrency was retesting the consolidation range breakout area as support, which could form a base for a climb to higher levels. Nonetheless, SOL’s price has now fallen back into its one-month accumulation range after failing to hold the breakout level on Friday morning. Rekt Capital observed that broader market conditions resemble early-stage Bear Market behavior, which could suggest Solana may be preparing for a deeper correction. Per the analysis, the altcoin has historically deviated below the $123.28 historical support when it was lost on the monthly timeframe. In 2022, after losing this level, SOL produced a deviation below it and traded below the $99.06 psychological level before rejecting from this area. Therefore, a new monthly close below both $123.28 and $99.06 could signal that these levels have been officially lost as support. However, it also opens the door to a rally back into them to retest them as resistance, similar to 2022. Shallow rebounds could lead to rejection from the $99.06 region quickly, he explained. Meanwhile, a stronger relief rally could allow Solana to revisit the $123.28 level before determining whether additional downside continuation is next. SOL ETFs ‘Defy Physics’ Despite its recent price decline, experts have emphasized the positive sentiment exhibited by traditional investors toward Solana, as evidenced by the performance of investment products that track the altcoin’s price. In an X post, Eric Balchunas, Bloomberg Intelligence Senior ETF Analyst, stressed that although the cryptocurrency’s price is currently 57% down from when its spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) first launched in July, the category has accumulated $1.5 billion in flows and has “not really given any of it up.” He noted that half of those inflows have come from institutional investors, which he deemed a “serious investor base” and “really good signs” for the category’s future. “In reality/history of ETFs launching into that kind of downturn is near impossible to get inflows. Most wouldn’t even make it to age one or two if they went down 57% in the first six months. Timing is very important. Solana is defying physics here,” he explained. Related Reading: Bitcoin Reclaims $73,000 Amid Iran War Volatility, But Analyst Issues Key Warning Additionally, he offered a broader perspective by adjusting SOL’s $50 billion market capitalization to Bitcoin’s (BTC) $1.4 trillion market cap. However, it’s worth noting that the category experienced its first negative day in over a month on Thursday, with $5.23 million in outflows, according to SoSoValue data. As Solana (SOL) fails to reclaim a major resistance area, a market watcher suggested that the cryptocurrency is poised to retest the November lows. However, other analysts predicted that the altcoin consolidation period may end soon. Related Reading: Dogecoin Prepares For Major Recovery As Bullish Momentum Builds – Here’s The Target Solana Rejected From Key Area On Friday, Solana faced a nearly 4% correction after trying to reclaim a crucial resistance zone for the second time this week. The cryptocurrency has been trading between the $120-$145 price range since the early November correction, hitting its local lows three weeks ago. Amid the crypto market’s star-of-the-year rally, SOL jumped over 13% from its yearly opening, breaking out of a three-month downtrend and hitting a one-month high of $143.4 earlier this week. After being rejected from the upper boundary on Tuesday, the altcoin is now attempting to build a base below the $140 level, where the cryptocurrency has faced strong resistance over the past three months. Despite the surge, Market observer Crypto Batman predicted that SOL could retrace toward the November lows as a bullish reversal pattern appears to be forming on its one-day timeframe. In an X post, the analyst noted that the altcoin has been rejected by the strong resistance area, asserting that a local top has formed. As a result, the cryptocurrency’s next support area is around the $128-$130 area, where its unfilled bullish Fair Value Gap (FVG) is located. Crypto Batman also pointed out that Solana has been potentially forming an inverse Head and Shoulders pattern since the Q4 corrections. According to the chart, the cryptocurrency formed the patterns left shoulder and head during the November and December pullbacks, with the neckline around the $145 area. Moreover, the recent rejection could signal that the right shoulder has begun forming, which would see the price drop to its late November lows before retesting the pattern’s neckline again and potentially breaking out if the formation is confirmed. Is SOL Waking Up? Market watcher King Arthur shared a bullish outlook for Solana, affirming that the altcoin “is finally waking up.” He affirmed that “We’ve been watching that long downward slide for a while now, and it’s so good to see SOL finally breaking free from that falling channel. This is a huge first step, but let’s stay sharp.” As he explained, breaking above the $143 level is crucial for Solana’s momentum, as it would open the door for a reclaim of the $152 level, lost during the November 13 breakdown. “If we manage that, I’d say the uptrend is officially back on track with my eyes set on $171.55,” he asserted. However, he warned that a drop below the $133 area would suggest that the price is not ready for bullish continuation. Related Reading: XRP Named The ‘New Cryptocurrency Darling’ After Strong Start Of The Year Meanwhile, analyst Crypto Jelle pointed out that Solana has been unable to challenge the $200 psychological barrier, chopping below this level over the past few months. He suggested that its recent performance is starting to resemble BNB’s price action. “Kinda starting to feel like BNB. Sideways for what feels like forever – and then, sudden expansion again. (…) Waiting for the same outcome,” he concluded. As of this writing, Solana is trading at $134.9, a 2.3% decline in the daily timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
As the market rebounds, Solana (SOL) is retesting a crucial area that has served as resistance since the November pullbacks. Some market watchers suggest that a short-term rally is likely, while others have highlighted potential signs of weakness. Related Reading: Zcash (ZEC) Leads Market Pullback With 24% Drop, Analysts Warn Of Another Crash Ahead Solana Eyes $144 Resistance Solana is attempting to turn the $140 area into support while nearing a key local resistance for the third time in a month. The cryptocurrency has been trading between the $120-$144 levels since mid-November, struggling to hold the high zone of its local range amid the recent market volatility. Last week, it bounced 10% toward the $140-$144 area but plunged to the range lows after Sunday’s correction, hitting a one-week low of $123 on Monday. As a result, it tested an ascending trendline that has served as support since 2023. Ali Martinez explained that during the pullbacks, SOL has retested this key support trendline. Notably, each time the cryptocurrency has tapped this trendline, it has registered strong rebounds in the following months, suggesting that the price could rally more than 80% in the mid-term if this support holds. Following Tuesday’s market rebound, SOL climbed back to the range’s highs, attempting to break above the local range once more. Market observer More Crypto Online affirmed that Wednesday’s rejection from $144 was expected, as it has been a strong resistance for weeks. The trader considers that investors should not worry as long as the mid-zone of its range, between the $134-$139 levels, holds as support. “It’s not really a breakdown yet; we just have a first sharp pullback,” he affirmed, emphasizing that there’s no evidence that bears are taking the lead. He noted that breaking below the mid-zone of its range would open the door to a retest of the recent lows and potentially risk a drop to the $117 area or lower. Nonetheless, if bulls take the lead and reclaim the $144 level as support, it will open the door to a retest of higher levels, including the $163 level, where the major next sell wall for SOL is situated. Is SOL’s Crucial Support Weakening? Meanwhile, Rekt Capital shared an analysis on longer timeframes, pointing out that Solana has been moving within a clear macro range, situated between the $123 and $296 levels, in the monthly timeframe, clustering in this area since early 2024. Per the analyst, the cluster has been developing for an extended period, and the potential for distribution and its function as a re-accumulation structure decreases the longer it continues. Despite this, he emphasized that the focus is on the 21-month horizontal support level. As the analysis noted, Solana recorded a 140% rally during the first major rebound from the region in Q3 and Q4, 2024. In the second rebound from this support, which started in Q3 2025, SOL saw a significantly smaller rally, surging around 100% to its September local high. Now, the cryptocurrency is rebounding from this level, which could confirm a decreasing trend for the altcoin and raise the alarm about its strength. “While it is positive to see this rebound, if the move turns into a weaker rebound than the previous ones, then questions will arise regarding the strength of this support,” Rekt Capital asserted. Related Reading: Bitcoin (BTC) Price In A ‘Vulnerable Technical Environment’ – Key Levels To Watch To prevent this, Solana must breach the one-year downtrend or the multi-week downtrend on the weekly timeframe. “Failing to break either of these trendlines would produce a smaller rally because the prior rebound — the one that rallied around 100% — would fall short and reject from these downtrends instead.” The analyst concluded that a sequence of progressively smaller bounces “would imply increasing weakness into that support, which in turn would favour the potential for distribution in Solana over time.” Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
As the crypto market rebounds from the recent lows, Solana (SOL) has reclaimed a crucial level, nearing a key resistance area that could set the stage for a long-awaited price recovery rally, according to some market watchers. Related Reading: Ethereum’s End-Of-Year Rally Still At Play? Analysts Eye 50% December Jump Solana Bounces Despite ETF Outflows The crypto market has surged above the $3 trillion mark for the first time in a week, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most leading cryptocurrencies reclaiming crucial support levels lost during the latest market pullback. Solana joined the market rally and jumped from the recently recovered $135-$140 area to the upper zone of its local range on Wednesday afternoon. Notably, the altcoin has been trading between the $130-$145 price range over the past two weeks, briefly losing the lower boundary during last week’s correction. This week, SOL’s price has reclaimed some crucial ground, surging over 10% since Monday’s opening and nearing the $145 resistance. Amid this performance, analyst Ted Pillows noted institutional participation, as SOL treasury companies have started to show early signs of recovery. He also highlighted that Solana Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) have experienced record inflows this month despite the correction. According to Farside Investors’ data, the SOL-based investment products have registered $613 million in inflows since their launch on October 28. It’s worth noting that throughout the recent pullbacks, Solana funds have seen a strong demand, with a 22-day positive streak while the altcoin’s price descended to multi-month lows. However, as its price recovered, SOL’s ETFs registered their first negative in nearly a month. 21Shares’ TSOL, which launched a week ago, saw $34 million in outflows on Wednesday, outshining the over $13 million and $10 million in inflows of Bitwise’s BSOL and Grayscale’s GSOL. As a result, the whole category recorded net outflows of $8.1 million. In his analysis, Ted Pillows also noted that “It seems like SOL has bottomed for a while, but institutional buying needs to accelerate here. Otherwise, it won’t take long for Solana to make new lows.” SOL Ready For December Recovery? Analyst Ali Martinez suggested that Solana’s pain might be over as its price “usually bottoms when investors capitulate… And for the past two weeks, that’s exactly what’s been happening.” According to the chart, SOL’s price has historically found a floor when the Net Unrealized Profit/Loss (NUPL) indicator reaches the capitulation zone, which it has recently fallen to. Meanwhile, Crypto Patel highlighted that Solana is breaking out of a one-month downtrend, which could trigger a 25% recovery rally near the key $180 barrier in the coming weeks. Another market observer warned that the altcoin is “walking straight into the lion’s den” as its price nears the $144-$146 resistance levels. Trader Mr. Ape noted that Solana’s price has been rejected three times from this heavy supply area, and momentum “is slowing again as we hit the zone.” Related Reading: XRP ETFs Outshine BTC, ETH, And SOL Funds With $164M Single-Day Inflows To the trader, this is the crucial level to watch, as another rejection could send the price to the $132 support, where strong demand lies from the previous bounce. As of this writing, Solana is trading at $142, a 7.7% increase on the weekly timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
Following a massive Q3 performance, Solana (SOL) has kicked off “Uptober” with a bounce, attempting to reclaim a crucial area as support to continue its bullish rally. Some analysts have suggested that the cryptocurrency is ready to challenge the recent highs and enter a new price discovery phase. Related Reading: BNB Eyes New Highs As Price Reclaims $1,000 – Is A 30% Rally Coming? Solana Starts ‘Uptober’ In The Green After the recent market correction, Solana has started the new quarter with a 7.3% bounce from yesterday’s lows. Last week, the cryptocurrency fell from its recent highs and hit a local low of $190 after closing below the $200 support for the first time in nearly a month. Over the weekend, the altcoin reclaimed the crucial barrier and attempted to turn the $205-$210 area into support during the last two days of September. After closing the month around the $208 level, SOL’s price bounced 5.3% on Wednesday morning toward the $220 mark. Some market watchers previously noted that $218 level was the most important level for the cryptocurrency’s recovery, as the largest supply wall exists around this level. This level coincides with Solana’s $120-$220 macro range high. Analyst Crypto Jelle considers that SOL “is ready for its second expansion wave for the cycle” after months of re-accumulation, the September rally, and the successful retest of the breakout level. Amid today’s pump, the analyst affirmed that the cryptocurrency has “one last hurdle to overcome” before the rally to new highs begins. Per the post, once Solana turns the $250 level into support, the altcoins will be “in for a great end of the year.” Similarly, Altcoin Sherpa suggested that SOL will likely rally toward the $230-$235 area and above if Bitcoin (BTC) and the crypto market remain stable. Corporate Momentum, ETFs To Fuel Q4 Rally Solana’s momentum has been partially driven by growing corporate interest in the cryptocurrency, with SOL-focused Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs) pouring billions of dollars into the strategies over the past few months. On October 1, Nasdaq-listed VisionSys AI Inc. announced a $2 billion SOL-based treasury strategy in partnership with Marinade Finance, Solana’s leading staking protocol. The initiative aims to “strengthen VisionSys’s balance sheet, enhance liquidity, and create long-term shareholder value through the strategic acquisition and staking of Solana (SOL),” the announcement reads. Marinade Finance will serve as VisionSys’s exclusive staking and ecosystem partner, and the program’s first phase is set to acquire and stake $500 million in SOL within the next six months. Additionally, the pending approval of multiple crypto-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has raised expectations for an October rally. In August and September, the regulatory agency pushed its final decision deadline for multiple crypto investment products, including SOL-based ETFs, between mid-October and mid-November. Solana has been in the spotlight after delivering a powerful rally, surging more than 50% since August and climbing to the $248 level. This move has reaffirmed bullish sentiment across the market, with momentum continuing to build around one of the leading altcoins. Analysts are now calling for the possibility of a massive surge in the coming weeks, pointing to both technical strength and increasing institutional participation as key drivers. Related Reading: Whale Unstakes 2M HYPE After 9 Months – $89.8M Profit On The Line Bulls appear firmly in control as Solana consolidates its gains at higher levels, showing resilience even in the face of broader market volatility. Unlike past rallies driven mainly by retail speculation, this surge is being accompanied by institutional accumulation, signaling deeper conviction and long-term positioning by large players. Fresh data from Lookonchain highlights this trend, revealing that another major institution has been buying significant amounts of SOL. These purchases align with the broader narrative that big players are preparing for the next phase of the crypto cycle by loading up on high-conviction assets. Solana Sees Accumulation Ahead of Fed Decision Solana has once again taken the spotlight as fresh data reveals significant institutional activity in the market. According to Lookonchain, over the past eight hours, FalconX—a well-known institutional trading platform—has withdrawn 413,075 SOL, worth approximately $98.4 million, from major exchanges including Binance, OKX, Coinbase, and Bybit. Such large-scale withdrawals are often interpreted as a signal of accumulation, with institutions moving tokens off exchanges for custody, staking, or long-term holding rather than short-term trading. This activity suggests that institutional players are quietly but aggressively positioning themselves in Solana. By removing supply from exchanges, FalconX’s actions could reduce the immediate liquidity available for trading, tightening supply and potentially fueling upward price pressure if demand continues to rise. Historically, moves of this scale have often preceded strong rallies, particularly when they align with broader bullish momentum. Solana, which has already surged over 50% since August, may now be setting the stage for another leg higher if accumulation trends persist. At the same time, macroeconomic factors are converging with this institutional demand. Later today, the Federal Reserve will announce its decision on interest rates, a pivotal event that will influence risk sentiment across global markets. Whether the Fed opts for a modest 25bps cut or a deeper move, the outcome will shape liquidity conditions for months to come. For Solana, the combination of institutional buying and the Fed’s decision creates a high-stakes backdrop that could define its trajectory well into year-end. The daily chart shows SOL now trading at $236, consolidating after the sharp rally. The uptrend remains intact, with the 50-day SMA ($197) and 100-day SMA ($178) trending upward, both acting as solid dynamic support. The 200-day SMA at $161 is far below current levels, confirming the strength of the long-term bullish structure. However, the recent slowdown near $240 suggests that the market is encountering resistance. This level previously acted as a supply zone in late 2024, and bulls will need to push through it decisively to open the door toward a potential retest of $300. A rejection here could trigger a short-term pullback toward $220 or even the $200–$210 area, where the moving averages cluster, offering strong support for continuation. Related Reading: Bitcoin Risk Index Signals Stability: All Eyes On Fed Decision Institutional accumulation has also been a major catalyst for Solana’s recent surge. A cryptocurrency analyst has pointed out how Solana may be moving toward a sky-high main target based on a cup-and-handle breakout. Solana Is Breaking Out Of A Cup And Handle In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has shared a pattern that the 1-week price of SOL has appeared to have been following during the last few years. The pattern in question is a “cup and handle” from technical analysis (TA). It’s made up of two parts: a U-shaped trendline forming the “cup” and a downward parallel channel representing the “handle.” As the asset moves through the pattern, it first goes through a decline to a low, then observes a rebound back to about the same height as before the drawdown. Finally, it once again witnesses a bearish trajectory, this time one consistent with a descending channel. When the price is inside the channel, the usual rules of the formation apply: the upper line acts as a resistance barrier, while the lower one provides support. A break out of the levels can imply a continuation of trend in that direction. Related Reading: Litecoin Surges As Whales Scoop Up 181,000 LTC A cup and handle is generally assumed to be a bullish continuation pattern, meaning that breakouts can be considered more probable to occur in the up direction. The same seems to have held true for Solana as well, as its 1-week price has just seen a surge beyond the resistance line of its multi-year cup and handle pattern. As displayed in the above graph, the weekly Solana price went down and up along a cup between 2021 and 2024, but this year, it entered into the handle or downward consolidation phase. After some period of stay inside the zone, the coin finally found a break away from it in July. This escape from the descending channel occurred with an upward surge, a potential sign that sustained bullish momentum may be coming for SOL, if the pattern is anything to go by. As for what could be a potential target for the cryptocurrency’s price, the analyst has suggested a rather bold one: $1,314.41. The target corresponds to a line from Fibonacci Extension levels. Fibonacci Extension levels are drawn on an asset’s price chart starting from a bottom point. Martinez has taken SOL’s cup low as the zero level. Each successive level corresponds to some percentage extension from this bottom, equal to a ratio from the popular Fibonacci series. Related Reading: Dogecoin To $0.50? Solana is currently breaking above an Ascending Triangle that could set a target of around $300, according to a cryptocurrency analyst. Solana Is Breaking Out Of An Ascending Triangle In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has discussed about a triangle technical analysis (TA) pattern forming in the 12-hour price of Solana. The pattern in question is an “Ascending Triangle,” which appears whenever an asset’s price consolidates between two converging trendlines. Related Reading: Solana Social Media Hype Hits 11-Week High As Price Jumps 16% The special feature of the formation is that the upper trendline is parallel to the time-axis, while the lower one is sloped upward. This means that as the price travels between the lines, it observes its range shrink to an upside. As with any consolidation pattern, the upper line of the Ascending Triangle is likely to present resistance to the price, while the lower one support. A break out of either of these levels can signal a continuation in that direction: a surge above the triangle is a bullish sign and a fall under it a bearish one. Like the Ascending Triangle, there is also the Descending Triangle, which is quite similar except for the fact that its lower line is parallel to the time-axis instead. Generally, the probability of a breakout is considered more likely to occur beyond the resistance line in an Ascending Triangle, while in a Descending Triangle, a breakdown of support is more probable. Now, here is the chart shared by the analyst that shows the Ascending Triangle that has appeared in Solana’s 12-hour price: As is visible in the above graph, Solana has been trading inside the pattern for many months now and recently, it has been trying to break out of it. This attempt at a surge above the resistance line comes as SOL has been approaching the apex of the triangle. Usually, a breakout becomes more likely to occur as the price nears the end of the pattern. This is because the consolidation range gets quite narrow around the apex. The same effect may be in play for the cryptocurrency right now. In the event that the latest attempt does lead to a sustained bullish push, Solana may be looking at the $300 level, according to Martinez. This level is around where the 1.618 Fibonacci Extension level lies. Related Reading: Bitcoin Rally Over? Solana (SOL) is attempting to reclaim a strong resistance zone for the fourth time, which has led some investors to suggest that the rally won’t last long. Nonetheless, on-chain data suggests that SOL’s next leg up could be starting. Related Reading: XRP Shows Strength Amid $3 Retest, But Analyst Warns Of Potential Correction Solana Breaks Out Of Triangle Pattern On Thursday, Solana hit a six-month high of $216 after breaking out of one of its most crucial resistance zones. The cryptocurrency bounced 16% from Monday’s lows and reclaimed the $200 barrier as support on Wednesday, closing the day above this area. SOL briefly reclaimed this level during the early August breakout, but the recent market corrections dragged its price to the $175-$195 area. Amid Thursday’s rally, market watcher Daan Crypto Trades highlighted its performance, asserting that it is “at an interesting spot.” The trader explained that Solana is trading in a multi-month rising wedge pattern, currently nearing the resistance level that has held over the months. Notably, the cryptocurrency has been rejected from the pattern’s upper boundary multiple times since July, retesting the ascending support line on each occasion. Supporting SOL’s case, Daan argued that it has “been strong on the back of treasury vehicles being spun up and potential upcoming buying + frontrunning,” noting that “rising wedges are generally leaning bearish but in bull markets it’s nothing new for these to break towards the upside instead.” Based on this and the cryptocurrency’s recent performance, he forecasted that it would reach higher levels later this year. Similarly, analyst Ali Martinez pointed out a six-month ascending triangle pattern on the altcoin’s chart, which targets the $360 area. Solana retested the pattern’s resistance three times over the past month and a half, but ultimately failed to turn the $205-$207 zone into support. As the altcoin pushed past the $210 mark, the analyst raised the question of whether the ongoing breakout attempt will be successful or if SOL’s rally would be short-lived for the fourth time. Fourth Time’s The Charm? Martinez shared multiple technical indicators that suggest Solana could finally break out of this pattern and aim for the long-awaited $300 barrier. The analyst explained that the backdrop of social sentiment and on-chain positioning differentiate the current price move from the previous attempts. Unlike the previous breakout attempts, sentiment across the community is more subdued. “Historically, euphoric sentiment above the ‘230’ index level coincided with local tops, as excessive optimism preceded retracements,” he detailed. According to the analyst’s chart, sentiment is muted this time, which suggests “skepticism rather than crowded bullish positioning.” Additionally, around $1 billion in realized profits have been booked after the surge to $212, signaling that some traders likely remain unconvinced that momentum will hold during this attempt. He also highlighted that there are significant accumulation zones below $207, with multiple support zones between $165 and $206, providing a strong base to continue rallying, which contrasts with the lack of resistance above the $212 area. Related Reading: Cardano Retests Key Support As SEC Delays ETF Decision – Is An October Rally Brewing? “If buying pressure builds, the path toward $300 is comparatively less obstructed,” Martinez affirmed, adding that Solana’s fundamentals, including the proposed Alpenglow consensus upgrade, may also add fuel to the breakout. “With skepticism still present, strong accumulation below $207, and little resistance overhead, this attempt has a higher probability of succeeding compared to prior failures. A confirmed breakout above $212–$215 on sustained volume would shift focus to the $300 target zone,” he concluded. As of this writing, Solana is trading at $212, a 17% increase in the weekly timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
Solana has shown a potential breakout from a Symmetrical Triangle. Here’s where the next price target could lie, according to an analyst. Solana Has Surged Above Symmetrical Triangle Resistance In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has talked about how Solana has just broken a resistance line. The level in question is part of a Symmetrical Triangle, a pattern from technical analysis (TA). This pattern belongs to the class of triangles, formations that involve the asset trading within two converging trendlines. The upper line acts as a source of resistance, while the lower one as that of support. A break out of either of these levels implies a continuation of trend in that direction. A surge above the triangle is a bullish sign and a drop under it a bearish one. Since the price’s range becomes narrower as it travels within a triangle, a breakout can become more likely as it approaches the apex. Related Reading: Bitcoin Breakout Not Just Hype—$4.4B Inflows Back The Move Generally, triangle breakouts are considered to be of the same length as the height of the formation (that is, the distance between the upper and lower trendlines at their widest). There are three popular triangle types: Ascending, Descending, and Symmetrical. The first and second variants have one trendline parallel to the time-axis. In the case of the Ascending type, it’s the upper level. This means that as Solana moves inside an Ascending Triangle, its range gets narrower toward a net upside. Similarly, the Descending Triangle involves the opposite setup, with the support line being parallel to the time-axis instead. The third type, the Symmetrical Triangle, is the middle ground between the two: it has the two trendlines approaching each other at a roughly equal and opposite slope. In other words, the Symmetrical Triangle represents a period of consolidation where the range gets narrower in true sideways fashion. Due to this fact, a breakout is more-or-less equally probable to occur in either direction. In contrast, there is a bias associated in Ascending and Descending Triangles. Now, here is the chart shared by Martinez that shows the Symmetrical Triangle Solana was trading inside just earlier: As is visible in the above graph, the Solana price was nearing in on the end of the triangle and as probability would dictate, a breakout was becoming likely. The asset indeed ended up finding a break and it seems to have been in the up direction. Related Reading: Bitcoin Moving With Stocks, But Ethereum’s Correlation Is Fading So what could be next for SOL? According to the analyst, the asset might target $164. This level corresponds to the 1.272 Fibonacci Extension line. Fibonacci Extension levels are defined based on ratios found in the popular Fibonacci series. The 1.272 level, in particular, corresponds to the square root of 1.618, which is the famous ‘Golden Ratio.’ SOL Price At the time of writing, Solana is floating around $158, up 3% in the last 24 hours. Amid the geopolitical turmoil, Solana (SOL) has retraced 10% in the past week. Some analysts believe that the altcoin’s correction is about to end, but warned that a dip below a key support level might come first. Related Reading: SUI Preparing For New Highs As Falling Wedge Breakout Targets $5 Solana Eyes Key Retest Before Breakout After retesting the $168 resistance last Wednesday, Solana has fallen back to a key level fueled by the recent market pullback. The cryptocurrency has seen a 15% retracement from its monthly highs, trading around the $140 zone for the past three days. SOL has been hovering between the $145-$180 price range since its May breakout, falling to the range lows during the June market shakeouts. Since then, the altcoin has struggled to reclaim the $160-$170 mid-zone. Nonetheless, market watcher Lluciano considers that Solana “may dip a bit more, but the ultimate target is seriously huge.” The analyst highlighted SOL’s performance since April, noting that it ended its multi-month downtrend after breaking above its descending resistance at the end of March. After this price action, SOL retested the $100-$120 demand zone before breaking out to its current range in the following weeks. Now, the altcoin’s chart displays a one-month falling wedge pattern, with the upper boundary sitting around the $155-$160 area. To the analyst, a breakout from this pattern could send the cryptocurrency toward May’s $187 high resistance before propelling the price to retest the $240 mark. Similarly, trader Rose noted that SOL has been consolidating above the key $145 resistance and 50-day Moving Average (MA), signaling a potential breakout. “If confirmed, the price could rise toward targets at $165, $183, and $220,” they suggested. SOL To Underperform In Coming Months? Market watcher Crypto Bullet suggested that Solana’s correction is coming to an end. The analyst forecasted that SOL could soon lose its current range and retest the April consolidation range, around the $125-$135 area, to complete the correction. This would be followed by a bounce back into the current range before surging past the $200 barrier toward the $220-$250 targets, for “one more wave up” this cycle. Meanwhile, Altcoin Sherpa affirmed Solana won’t outperform like it did during the first half of the cycle. According to the analyst, the cryptocurrency won’t outperform Bitcoin (BTC) on any long-term timeframe “other than a few blips here and there.” Related Reading: Bitcoin Setting Up For ‘Large Move’ Amid $103,000 Retest – Key Levels To Watch He explained that the cycle’s leading altcoin isn’t “dead,” but that he doesn’t “see it having a run like it did in 2021/2024.” Notably, SOL is currently retesting its late November 2023 support levels against BTC, which previously sent it to yearly lows after failing to hold them. Altcoin Sherpa concluded that Solana will likely continue to climb against its USDT pair but continue to bleed in its SOL/BTC chart. As of this writing, Solana is trading at $145, a 12.1% decline in the monthly timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
Solana (SOL) has recovered from the recent market pullback after bouncing from its local bottom. Amid its recent breakout from a bullish formation, some market watchers suggest that the cryptocurrency could recover its start-of-year glory. Related Reading: Bitcoin Weekly Chart Flexes Strength—Is The Moonshot Just Getting Started? Solana Breakout Eyes $164 Solana is recording a 2.45% surge in the weekly timeframe after recovering from its recent drop to the $140 area. The altcoin has seen a significant recovery from its multi-month downtrend, which led the token to hit a 14-month low of $95 during the early April retraces. However, SOL lost the $160 area amid the recent market corrections, dipping 11% in one week. Over the weekend, its price bounced nearly 10%, reclaiming the $150 level as support and forming an ascending triangle pattern. Crypto analyst Ali Martinez highlighted the 3-day formation in Solana’s chart, suggesting a potential 6% jump to its recently lost support level. According to the post, the cryptocurrency broke out of the triangle formation on Monday after reclaiming the $155 area. A retest and breakout confirmation could propel Solana to the $164 barrier, which has not been seen in two weeks. Analyst CW noted that if SOL breaks through the selling barrier around the $160 level, “the previous price will recover quickly,” as reclaiming this level could send the price straight to the $180 area. Notably, the altcoin’s next significant selling wall is around the $180 resistance, which it has been unable to reclaim despite touching a $187 three-month high during the recent market rally. Recovering this key barrier could also push SOL’s price toward the $200 mark, enabling a rally to new highs. However, failing to hold the current levels could send the cryptocurrency’s price back toward the $142 buying wall, which served as support last week, or even the $135 level, where the next buy wall sits. SOL Preparing To Climb Higher? Market watcher Jeremy pointed out that Solana is “finally breaking out from this downtrend consolidation.” Per the post, the cryptocurrency has been consolidating in a descending channel since late May, hovering between the $140-$187 price range. Throughout this period, SOL’s price moved from the $180 mark toward the $144 support. Nonetheless, it broke out of the two-week descending channel after reclaiming the $155 level. Jeremy suggested that Solana’s price could “actually climb higher” if global conflicts and political disputes, like the Trump-Musk online feud, don’t continue to affect the market, concluding that “1 SOL = $300 is just a matter of time.” Related Reading: Pundit Says Do Not Ignore Ethereum Amid New All-Time Highs In Major Metric Meanwhile, crypto trader Coinvo recently affirmed that SOL’s bottom “is finally in,” highlighting a potential bullish megaphone pattern in SOL’s chart. The 18-month pattern shows that the fourth wave bounced from the formation’s lower boundary during the April pullback. This could signal a potential surge to the upper boundary, around the all-time high (ATH) levels, during the fifth wave. A breakout above the pattern’s resistance line could propel Solana to new highs As of this writing, Solana trades at $156, a 1.88% increase in the daily timeframe. Solana (SOL) has reclaimed crucial levels amid its price rally, recording its highest range in months. However, as the market’s recovery takes a pause, the cryptocurrency has hit a key level that could propel or delay its surge to new highs. Related Reading: Chainlink Struggles At Key Resistance Level – $10 Support Back In Focus Solana Rally Faces Key Barrier Solana’s price has significantly surged over the past several weeks, recovering from April’s pullback and breaking out of its downtrend. After its January all-time high (ATH), SOL retraced up to 63%, hitting a 14-month low of $95 last month. However, Solana climbed above some crucial ranges during the late April market recovery, reclaiming the $140 resistance as support for the first time in two months. Since then, the cryptocurrency rallied nearly 30% to the $180 mark, recording a three-month high of $183 last week before retracing to the $170 support. Crypto Trader Mercury noted that Solana reached a “very HTF infection point,” which could send the cryptocurrency’s price to new ATHs again if reclaimed. However, the market slowdown has stalled SOL’s rally, with its price falling to the $165-$170 range over the weekend. After its recent performance, the trader added that SOL was rejected from the key inflection point “just enough to allow for a retest of the same trend that got us here in the first place.” Based on this, he considers that reclaiming the $180 mark and eventual breakout to news ATHs is on the horizon, “as long as that 4H 200MAs trend holds.” Meanwhile, analyst Cas Abbé pointed out that Solana’s multi-year trend remains intact despite the recent pullbacks. As he explained, the cryptocurrency is over 50% up from its multi-year ascending trendline retest, seemingly marking the bottom for Solana. The analyst considers that SOL January ATH could not be the top, and another record-breaking rally could come this year. Similarly, trader Coinvo highlighted the ascending trendline, “If SOL continues to hold this trendline, it’s going much higher!” SOL eyes $200 Breakout Over the weekend, analyst Rekt Capital asserted that Solana has broken into its Post-Halving Re-Accumulation Range on the monthly timeframe, successfully retesting the $120-$135 range as support over the past couple of months. This key higher timeframe retest propelled the cryptocurrency to revisit the $165-$175 range’s high. However, he explained that Solana must break above the upper boundary to confirm a breakout and continue ascending, which it failed to do during last week’s close. SOL also must break and retest the upper boundary as a new support with a Weekly Close above this mark to exit the key range. Additionally, the analyst pointed out that previous performance suggests a price breakout could happen. Related Reading: Dogecoin On The Edge: Major Breakout Or Breakdown Imminent? According to its Q4 2024 price action, if Solana builds a base around the Range high’s resistance, there’s a high chance for the price to rally. The analyst added that a successful breakout from this zone could send SOL’s price to the $200-$210 mark. “SOL simply needs stability here at the Range High resistance, as that would telegraph that this is an area that is becoming support,” Rekt capital concluded. As of this writing, Solana trades at $165, a 3.1% decline in the daily timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com
After reclaiming crucial levels, Solana (SOL) has been moving sideways within a key price range, with its next direction yet to be determined. However, some analysts suggest a breakout could kick-start a new bullish rally in the coming months. Related Reading: Monero (XMR) Price Jumps 50% Amid ‘Suspicious’ $330 Million BTC Transfer – Details Solana Moves Within Key Range Amid its 15% biweekly recovery, Solana, one of the leading altcoins of this cycle, has attempted to reclaim a crucial resistance after recovering the $140 support for the first time since late February. Earlier this month, the cryptocurrency fell to a 14-month low of $95 amid the market retraces, which saw Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) retest key horizontal levels. Since hitting its $293 all-time high (ATH), SOL has retraced up to 63%, trading 50% below its January high at the time of writing. However, Solana climbed above some crucial ranges during the recent crypto market recovery. Over the past few weeks, the altcoin has successfully recovered the $120 and $130 support zones, breaking above the $140 resistance seven days ago, where the SOL price has been rejected since losing the level nearly two months ago. As a market watcher pointed out, Solana has been moving sideways, consolidating within the $145-$157 range for the past week. The trader noted that this range could decide SOL’s next direction, with a breakout above the upper boundary positioning the altcoin to retest higher levels. On the contrary ,if it breaks down this price range, the “next support level below at around $136,” which could also risk a drop to the $100-$120 support zones. However, Ali Martinez recently stated that Solana is forming a “textbook-perfect cup and handle pattern,” which could mark the start of a major rally for SOL. SOL Price Preparing For A Breakout? Analyst Alex from AMCrypto noted that Solana’s short-term downtrend is over after a recent breakout. He identified that SOL broke out of a seven-day falling wedge that formed within its current range, surging above the upper trendline on Monday. According to the analyst, “SOL could hit $170-$180 in the short term and most likely a new ATH by Q3/Q4,” based on its utility and demand. “It recently surpassed all other L1s and L2s combined in DEX volume, which shows its immense utility. Along with that, multiple companies are also raising funds to buy SOL, which will further add demand,” he explained. With the price attempting to hold the $150 mark, trader Lluciano_BTC considers the current level “a strong hold.” He highlighted that Solana’s uptrend “is only getting started” after breaking out of a multi-month falling wedge formation at the start of the month. Solana is trading at critical levels after several days of trying to decisively break above the key $155–$160 resistance zone. Bulls are slowly building momentum, as the broader crypto market shows signs of strength and hints at the possibility of a sustained rally. However, global risks remain elevated, particularly as no clear resolution has been reached in the ongoing US-China trade conflict, which continues to shape macroeconomic sentiment and investor behavior. Related Reading: Ethereum Reclaims Local Range Against BTC – Can Bulls Target The Range High? Despite the uncertain backdrop, technical indicators are beginning to favor a bullish outlook for Solana. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared new insights, highlighting that when zooming out, Solana appears to be forming a textbook-perfect cup and handle pattern — a classic technical setup typically associated with major bullish breakouts. If validated, this pattern could set the stage for a strong upside move in the coming weeks. Still, caution is warranted, as broader market volatility and unresolved geopolitical tensions could disrupt the developing momentum. The next few days will be pivotal for Solana’s trend, as bulls must defend key levels and build enough pressure to attempt a true breakout above resistance. Solana Shows Strength Amid Shifting Market Dynamics Solana is up 58% since early April, showing impressive recovery momentum as market dynamics start to shift. After months of weakness and selling pressure, Solana is now emerging as one of the stronger performers among major altcoins. Analysts are closely watching the $160 level, with many calling for a decisive breakout that could unlock further gains. However, risks remain elevated. The broader macroeconomic environment remains unstable, with global trade conflicts and financial market volatility weighing on investor sentiment. Solana has been particularly sensitive to this uncertainty. Since January, SOL lost over 65% of its value, highlighting the growing selling pressure and speculative behavior that dominated the market during the first quarter of 2025. Despite this, the recent surge has shifted short-term momentum back in favor of the bulls, offering hope for a broader recovery if key levels are reclaimed. Martinez’s analysis supports a bullish outlook for Solana. He points out that zooming out reveals Solana is forming a textbook-perfect cup and handle pattern. This classic technical structure often precedes strong upward movements, especially when accompanied by growing volume and supportive macro conditions. If confirmed, this setup could mark the beginning of a major rally for SOL in the weeks ahead. Related Reading: Solana Will Face A Pivotal Moment In May – Bear Market Bounce Or Bull Market Dip? SOL Price Action Remains Tight Below Key Resistance Solana (SOL) is trading at $151 after several days of consolidation below the crucial $160 resistance zone. Bulls have managed to defend recent gains, but momentum has slowed as the price struggles to push higher. Reclaiming the $160 level is essential for bulls to regain full control and continue the recovery. A clean breakout above $160 could trigger a rally toward the $180 mark, which aligns with the 200-day moving average (MA) — a critical technical barrier that, if flipped into support, would confirm a strong trend reversal. However, risks remain elevated if bulls fail to reclaim the $160 resistance soon. A failure at this zone could expose SOL to a deeper correction, potentially dragging the price back toward the $120–$100 support area. This would not only erase recent gains but could also damage market sentiment, slowing Solana’s recovery efforts. Solana is trading above the $125 level after bulls stepped in and reclaimed key levels, sparking optimism across the market. After enduring weeks of massive selling pressure, this recovery marks the first sign of strength from buyers since early March. Still, not all analysts are convinced this marks the beginning of a sustainable rally. While momentum appears to be shifting in Solana’s favor, some see this move as a possible bearish setup rather than a reversal. Related Reading: Ethereum Metrics Reveal Critical Support Level – Can Buyers Step In? Top crypto analyst Ali Martinez shared a cautionary view on X, suggesting that Solana might be retesting the breakout zone from a right-angled ascending broadening pattern — a structure that often precedes sharp declines. According to his analysis, if Solana fails to hold current support levels, prices below $80 could come back into play. This aligns with broader macro concerns, as global trade tensions and volatile risk markets continue to pressure crypto valuations. With both bullish enthusiasm and bearish warnings in the air, Solana’s price action in the coming days could determine whether this is a genuine recovery — or a setup for a deeper correction. Eyes are now on how SOL behaves around $125 in the short term. Solana Faces a Pivotal Test as Global Risks Rise Solana is at a crucial juncture as bulls attempt to hold the $125 level and regain momentum after weeks of aggressive selling pressure. While the recent bounce has offered short-term relief, the broader market environment remains highly unstable, making this recovery fragile. Macroeconomic uncertainty, paired with growing trade war fears, continues to weigh heavily on risk assets like Solana. The erratic tone set by US President Donald Trump, including unpredictable tariff policies targeting China and other global partners, has introduced renewed volatility across financial markets. These macro headwinds are colliding with technical pressure in Solana’s chart. Martinez shared a bearish scenario, noting that Solana could be retesting the breakout zone from a right-angled ascending broadening pattern. Historically, this pattern often signals the potential for sharp reversals. According to Martinez, if Solana fails to hold above key support, the price could plunge toward $65 — a level not seen since late 2023. The $125 zone now acts as a make-or-break level for bulls. Reclaiming higher resistance at $135–$145 would be necessary to shift sentiment and spark a full recovery rally. However, failure to hold current levels could result in a steep decline as panic returns to the market. Related Reading: Dogecoin Whales Buy 800 Million DOGE in 48 Hours – Smart Money Or Bull Trap? SOL Price Faces Key Resistance After $136 Rejection Solana (SOL) is currently trading at $125 after facing a clean rejection at the $136 resistance level earlier this week. The failure to break through this short-term ceiling has paused the bullish momentum, placing bulls in a vulnerable position as they try to defend recent gains. To regain control and signal a clear reversal, SOL must reclaim the $136 level with conviction and continue climbing toward the $150 mark — a zone that aligns with key daily resistance and short-term liquidity. Reclaiming both levels would signal strong market confidence and could set the stage for a sustained rally, possibly retesting April highs. However, without that upside push, the risk of deeper downside grows. Market volatility remains high, fueled by global macroeconomic tensions and uncertainty around US-China trade developments. These factors are still weighing heavily on sentiment, particularly among altcoins like Solana. Related Reading: XRP Tests Ascending Triangle Resistance – Can Bulls Reach $2.40 Level? The surge came shortly after US President Donald Trump announced a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for all countries except China, which now faces a 145% tariff. The announcement sparked relief rallies across risk assets, with Solana among the top beneficiaries. Big Ched’s analysis reveals that Solana triggered a long thesis after successfully reclaiming the $125 resistance level. This move is seen as a breakout confirmation, suggesting that a bullish structure may now be forming. However, global tensions and trade war fears continue to inject uncertainty into financial markets. For Solana, holding above the $120–$125 support zone will be key in determining whether the recent bounce has staying power—or if further consolidation is in store. This move signals a potential short-term trend shift in favor of the bulls, who are now holding some advantage after reclaiming these critical technical levels. The breakout came on strong volume, reinforcing the bullish momentum that emerged from last week’s bounce off the $95 low. However, for the rally to continue and higher highs to form, SOL must maintain its position above the $125 level and push toward the next major resistance around $146. Reclaiming this level would strengthen bullish conviction and confirm a recovery rally in the broader trend. Related Reading: Solana Approaches $125 – Will 2-Level Filter Trigger A Long Signal? Solana (SOL) is facing significant selling pressure and struggling to hold key support levels as the entire crypto market remains under stress. Bulls have lost control, with SOL plunging over 37% since the start of March, reflecting the broader market’s risk-off sentiment. Related Reading: Dogecoin Network Activity Surges 47% In A Month – What’s Next for DOGE? The downturn isn’t limited to crypto—trade war fears and macroeconomic uncertainty have pushed the crypto and U.S. stock markets to their lowest levels since late 2024. With investor confidence deteriorating, SOL remains in a vulnerable position, failing to reclaim critical price levels. Despite the recent weakness, some analysts see potential for a turnaround. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared insights on X, highlighting that Solana is forming a textbook cup-and-handle pattern, a bullish technical formation that could lead to a breakout. If this pattern plays out, SOL could reclaim higher price levels, reversing some of its recent losses. For now, Solana must overcome key resistance levels before confirming a bullish trend. If market conditions improve, SOL could see renewed momentum, but failure to hold current support could result in further downside. The next few weeks will be critical in determining Solana’s short-term direction. Solana Bullish Setup Hints at a Potential Breakout Solana is currently trading below the $130 mark, struggling to establish a foundation for a recovery phase. The broader market downturn continues to weigh heavily on SOL, with volatility and speculation driving short-term price action. With bears still in control, Solana’s direction remains uncertain, and short-term sentiment remains bearish. Despite the recent decline, many investors remain hopeful that SOL is poised for a significant recovery once the broader market starts trending upward. Optimism comes from historical patterns, where Solana has shown strong comebacks following extended periods of selling pressure. Related Reading: Ethereum Net Taker Volume Signals Huge Selling Pressure – Can Bulls Hold Key Levels? Martinez’s long-term technical analysis on X highlights that Solana is forming a textbook cup-and-handle pattern, a bullish formation that often precedes major breakouts. SOL could potentially surge to $3,800 if price action confirms this pattern, marking an astonishing 2,900% gain from current levels. The next few days will be crucial as Solana and the broader crypto market attempt to establish local lows and build momentum for a potential rebound. If market sentiment shifts and key resistance levels are reclaimed, SOL could be one of the top performers in the next primary bullish phase. Price Struggles Around $125 Solana is currently trading around $125, facing resistance at the $130 level after multiple failed attempts to reclaim it. With bears still in control, SOL remains under selling pressure, and bulls must act quickly to avoid further declines. For a recovery to take shape, SOL needs to break above the $130 mark and push toward $150. If bulls manage to reclaim this key level, it will signal renewed buying strength, potentially setting the stage for a larger recovery rally. A move past $150 could shift market sentiment and open the door for higher price targets. However, if SOL fails to hold the current demand, a further downside is likely. A drop below $125 could send the price toward lower support levels between $100 and $105, a zone where buyers may step in to stabilize the price. Solana (SOL) has been navigating extreme volatility as the broader market shifted from bearish to bullish within hours yesterday. However, early signs suggest buyers are stepping in, defending key technical levels. Top analyst Jelle shared a technical analysis on X, noting that Solana has successfully retested the 25-day EMA and RSI midlevel, both of which have historically acted as strong support during bullish trends. Following this retest, SOL bounced straight into key resistance, signaling a potential reversal if bulls maintain momentum. For Solana to confirm its recovery, it must break above resistance and sustain its move higher. If successful, SOL could resume its bullish trend, potentially reclaiming recent highs. However, failure to break key levels could lead to further consolidation or even another leg down. The coming days will be crucial in determining Solana’s next major move. Solana Surges 8% As Market Reacts To Fed Meeting Solana has bounced back strongly, surging 8% from local lows on Wednesday as the entire market reacted positively to the Federal Reserve meeting. With sentiment improving, SOL is once again positioning itself as a market leader, aiming to reclaim key price levels and push toward new highs. Top analyst Jelle shared a technical analysis on X, highlighting Solana’s recent retest of the 25-day EMA and RSI midlevel, both of which have historically acted as crucial support zones. After confirming these levels, SOL bounced straight into key resistance, signaling a potential breakout if momentum continues. Jelle emphasized that for Solana to “look great again,” it must reclaim the $240 level. However, he also cautioned that “resistance is resistance” until a clear breakout occurs. Solana Price Holds Strong at $240 Solana (SOL) is currently trading at $240 after successfully testing the $220 level as support. The price appears ready to bounce, but key resistance levels must be reclaimed to confirm a short-term trend reversal. For bulls to maintain momentum, SOL must break above $240 and $260, two critical resistance zones that have capped upward movement in recent days. If Solana clears these levels with strength, a surge above all-time highs (ATH) will be imminent, setting the stage for price discovery. On the bearish side, losing the $220 mark would signal weakness, potentially leading to further downside and deeper consolidation. The broader market remains volatile, and SOL must hold above key support levels to sustain its bullish trajectory. Related Reading: Bitcoin Finally Turns $100K Into Support – Ready To Rally Higher? Solana has seen a price drawdown of around 12% during the past day, but if this pattern is to go by, there could be more decline on the way. Solana Has Seen A Crash Over The Last 24 Hours The cryptocurrency sector as a whole has plummeted during the past day, with Solana not being spared as its price has also gone through a notable decline. Below is a chart that shows how SOL’s recent performance has looked. From the graph, it’s visible that Solana has suffered a steep plunge of almost 12% in this period, which is worse than many other top cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin (BTC), for instance, has seen a decline of around 5%. Related Reading: Bitcoin To $181,000? The asset has seemingly paused its fall for now, but it’s possible that it would resume soon. SOL Has Breached Under Its Symmetrical Triangle In a post on X earlier in the day, analyst Ali Martinez discussed about a Symmetrical Triangle that Solana had been trading inside. The “Symmetrical Triangle” here is a pattern from technical analysis (TA) that forms when the price of an asset consolidates between two trendlines of a roughly equal and opposite slope. The upper line of the triangle connects together lower highs in the price, while the lower level joins higher lows. As the asset travels inside the pattern, its range gradually converges on the midpoint line. Like other TA patterns, the upper level of this pattern is likely to provide resistance to the asset. Similarly, the lower line can help the cryptocurrency to reach a bottom. A break out of either of the trendlines can imply a continuation of trend in that direction. That is, a break above the triangle is a bullish signal, while a fall under it can lead to a bearish outcome. The Symmetrical Triangle is just one possible type of triangular-shaped formation that an asset can display. Two other popular ones are the Ascending and Descending Triangles, which occur when one of the trendlines is parallel to the time-axis (the upper one in the case of the former and the lower one for the latter). Now, here is the chart shared by the analyst that shows the Symmetrical Triangle that the 1-hour price of Solana had been stuck inside over the past week: From the graph, it’s visible that Solana was approaching the apex of the triangle when Martinez had made the post. As the consolidation becomes narrower, a breakout can become more probable to occur, which appears to be just what has happened with SOL in the hours since. The height of this triangle was equal to a swing of around 20%. Usually, Symmetrical Triangle breakouts are of the same degree as the height of the pattern, so the analyst had noted that SOL could be primed for a 20% move. This level serves as a key battleground, marking the last stronghold for sellers before SOL enters price discovery—a phase where it could carve out new highs. Johnny predicts that Solana could stage a strong recovery from there, targeting an aggressive move above its ATH at $260. Solana’s bullish momentum cannot be ignored despite the possibility of a retrace.
