In the dynamic and often volatile landscape of digital assets, Bitcoin’s position as the premier store of value in the digital asset space remains firmly intact, even as the broader crypto ecosystem evolves. Its unmatched network strength, fixed supply, and resilient global infrastructure continue to make it the benchmark against all digital assets. Unmatched Network Security Keeps Bitcoin In The Lead Bitcoin remains the largest and most secure store of value in the crypto ecosystem, with a market capitalization surpassing $1.7 trillion and increasingly unmatched institutional adoption. However, analyst Ted has noted on X that the BTC base layer was never built for decentralized finance (DeFi).  Related Reading: Historic Downturn: Bitcoin Nears Worst Weekly Performance In Over A Year Most of BTC’s capital sits idle and is unable to support the complex financial applications. This is where the BTCFi emerges, and it’s rising because it activates this dormant capital without forcing users or liquidity away from BTC’s security. Ted highlighted that Arch Network is a utility layer that enables the development of expressive rush in smart contracts directly to BTC for high performance. It offers real-time state management, true interoperability, and fast parallel execution, while remaining fully aligned with the BTC UTXO model. This ensures that all settlements and final state changes remain anchored directly to BTC for maximum security. The applications on ArchVM generate Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs for each batch of transactions, and BTC nodes verify those proofs on-chain; a design that enables fast trading, money lending, credit markets, and real-world asset (RWA) applications with the L1-level trust. Furthermore,  Ted describes the Arch Network as aiming to become a core piece of the infrastructure pillar for the emerging BTCFi ecosystem. Bitcoin Stabilizes As Market Volatility Cools Off The cryptocurrency market is now showing signs of stabilization, positioning Bitcoin for a potential resurgence. According to CryptosRus, last Friday, BTC appeared to have firmly bottomed just above the $82,000 level, a crucial development that analysts are pointing to as a potential renewed market strength. While the selling pressure is fading, these key developments could trigger a near-term bounce for BTC. The market might still experience a second weaker wave of selling pressure, which would mark the exhaustion of any remaining sellers, and shift the market towards the bulls. Fed rate cuts are surging, as the December cut probability is climbing back to 70%, fueling optimism for liquidity support. Furthermore, liquidity injection is possible, and market analysts are highlighting that the actions from the Fed could expand reserves, which have historically proven to be bullish for the crypto market. With selling pressure easing and policy tailwinds building, BTC’s climb may continue signaling a potential recovery. Featured image from Pngtree, chart from Tradingview.com

Ripple has unveiled a partnership that places its RLUSD stablecoin at the center of tokenized finance involving BlackRock and VanEck. The announcement, which was shared on the company’s official X account, connects Ripple directly to tokenized versions of institutional funds and sets the stage for deeper integration between the XRP Ledger and some of the largest names in asset management. Ripple And Securitize Join Forces Ripple confirmed that it is working with Securitize, the world’s largest tokenization platform, to bring in real-time liquidity for institutional assets provided by BlackRock and VanEck. Through this arrangement, holders of BlackRock’s $BUIDL and VanEck’s $VBILL can instantly convert their fund shares into RLUSD, allowing them to retain access to on-chain yield. With the partnership, BUIDL and VBILL holders will now be able to instantly exchange their shares for RLUSD 24/7. Considering Securitize is one of the largest tokenization platform, this move increases the XRP ecosystem’s exposure to tokenized assets and strengthens Ripple’s push to imporove its on-chain financial infrastructure. “Making RLUSD available as an exchange option for tokenized funds is a natural next step as we continue to bridge traditional finance and crypto,” said Jack McDonald, SVP of Stablecoins at Ripple. “ Ongoing Discussions Around Ripple and BlackRock Speculation around Ripple’s relationship with BlackRock has been building for months, and many in the industry have linked Ripple’s cross-border settlement technology to the asset manager’s vision for tokenization. The company is now working to tokenize $2 trillion worth of assets on the blockchain. BlackRock launched its first tokenized fund, BUIDL (BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund), in March 2024, doing so through Securitize’s infrastructure. Securitize serves as the platform that tokenizes BlackRock’s fund, issuing digital tokens that represent ownership of the underlying real-world assets. Related Reading: Ripple’s XRP Ledger Just Introduced A Pivotal Update In Its Quest For Dominance The implications are significant. Ripple has managed to secure a foothold in the conversation by tying RLUSD to tokenized funds. Ripple’s RLUSD is now linked not only to BlackRock’s BUIDL but also to VanEck’s VBILL fund. This creates a direct link between Ripple’s stablecoin ecosystem and products from two of the world’s biggest asset managers. The partnership can be viewed as an important step that could eventually pave the way for XRP itself to be tied into BlackRock’s tokenization efforts. This partnership also speaks to Ripple’s strategy of expanding the utility of RLUSD. Since its launch, the stablecoin has steadily grown in adoption, reaching a market capitalization of about $742 million. The collaboration with Securitize, and through it with BlackRock and VanEck, also improves XRPL’s presence in the real-world asset (RWA) tonization sector. The debate over whether XRP could surpass Bitcoin has gained intensity in this cycle, and many analysts and commentators have weighed in on the possibility. A recent video posted on X by crypto analyst and commentator CryptoSensei touched on this discussion, where he made the bold claim that developments in interoperability, regulation, and tokenized real-world assets could eventually put XRP ahead of Bitcoin. The Pundit’s Claim: XRP In Front Of Bitcoin Although Bitcoin is currently the largest cryptocurrency, XRP’s positioning this cycle has increased discussions of a shift in dominance. Interestingly, XRP has overtaken many cryptocurrencies in the past few months and is now on the heels of Ethereum in terms of market cap. Related Reading: Real Vision CEO Raoul Pal Calls ‘Full Port’ Into XRP, Ethereum In his video, CryptoSensei focused on the broader trajectory of blockchain adoption over the next decade, which is going to include the integration of real-world assets like stocks, bonds, derivatives, and real estate into digital systems. He noted that only a small fraction of these markets are currently on-chain, and he predicted that this figure will perhaps rise just five to ten percent in the next ten years. The pace of this growth will be determined by global regulatory cooperation, where working groups from the G7 and G20 align laws to allow value to move seamlessly across borders. Interoperability of blockchains would be essential in this process. As such, CryptoSensei highlighted the role of companies like Chainlink, Ripple, and others that are connecting real-world assets to blockchain platforms, and he specifically called out XRP as having the potential to rise to the top. “Obviously, we would love to see XRP number one in front of Bitcoin,” he said, adding that the combination of regulation, interoperability, and tokenization could make this outcome possible. The Altcoin To Surpass Bitcoin? Ripple and its cryptocurrency XRP have long been recognized for their strong ties with banks, payment providers, and financial institutions worldwide. According to Ripple, XRP was designed with a focus on real-world utility in cross-border payments and settlement.  Related Reading: XRP Price Holds Macro Consolidation Zone, Wave 3 Surge Could Send Price To $5 This institutional integration distinguishes XRP from Bitcoin, and many analysts have argued adoption by financial institutions is the only way XRP can beat Bitcoin to become the number one cryptocurrency. Crypto analyst BarriC suggested that the adoption of XRP by institutions could see its price settle well above $1,000. Another important factor that might cause XRP to overtake Bitcoin lies in the growing use of the XRP Ledger for tokenization. Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization has grown massively in the past few weeks on the XRP Ledger, with the network growing as the platform for creating and managing tokenized assets.  Tokenization of real-world assets is viewed by many as one of the largest growth opportunities for blockchain technology, with trillions of dollars in value expected to migrate on-chain in the next few decades. This will undoubtedly bode well for the XRP price if the XRP Ledger can capitalize well on the tokenization trend. Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview.com

Following the XRP price’s stellar performance in the current bull cycle, a crypto analyst has now predicted that the value of the third-largest cryptocurrency could soon soar to $10 or more in 2025. This bullish projection is backed by several key factors expected to drive strong demand and boost global adoption.  Factors That Could Push XRP Price To $10 Unlike past cycles, when XRP pumped toward the tail end of the bull market, this time, it has emerged as one of the top-performing altcoins early on. Expanding on this impressive performance, X (formerly Twitter) crypto analyst and XRP supporter Edo Farina has shared a video analysis of the cryptocurrency, predicting the token’s potential price outlook and outlining different factors that could drive this surge.  Related Reading: Analyst Says These Factors Will Drive XRP Price To $1,000, But What Does Market Cap Say? The analyst has highlighted the influence of Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D), which he sees as a critical indicator for altcoin movements. According to him, BTC.D currently remains relatively high. However, historically, the dominance dropped from 40% to 30%, marking the onset of the altcoin season. This expected drop in Bitcoin’s Dominance could serve as the trigger for a broader altcoin market breakout, positioning the XRP price for a potential 4X rally from current levels. According to Farina, a 4X jump from $2.39 could easily propel XRP toward the $10 mark.  Key to this optimism and bullish outlook is the recent resolution of the lawsuit between the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple. With legal battles seemingly behind it, XRP is no longer classified as a security in the US, giving Ripple the green light to offer the token to financial institutions. Farina has suggested that this newfound regulatory clarity is expected to bolster investor confidence and lay the groundwork for global adoption. Achieving a $10 price point will also require more than a shift in market sentiment. Farina explains that it will depend heavily on XRP’s integration into the global financial system. The analyst argues that XRP must become the cornerstone, especially in cross-border payments and Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. Ripple has already taken significant steps in this direction, reportedly playing a role in the roll-out of the digital Euro.  Ripple is also making strategic acquisitions, such as its acquisition of Hidden Road and the potential  purchase of Circle, which could exponentially expand its influence in traditional finance. The analyst further notes that the possible launch of XRP ETFs could significantly impact the token’s price dynamics. If approved by the SEC and more ETFs hit the market, investor demand is expected to skyrocket, potentially driving prices toward or even beyond $10 in 2025. How Much Will 1,000 XRP Be Worth In 2025? In his analysis, Farina estimated how much 1,000 XRP could be worth in 2025 if its price surges to $10 and above. At $10, a modest holding of 1,000 XRP would be worth $10,000.  Related Reading: XRP Price Still On Bullish Path To $5 As Long As This Level Holds If financial adoption accelerates as Farina projects, XRP could climb well beyond $10, potentially reaching $100. In that scenario, a 1,000 XRP bag could soar to $100,000 profit, potentially offering life-changing returns for long-term investors. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com
