Crypto analyst Merlijn revealed that Bitcoin has flashed the most powerful fractal in the markets right now. This comes amid BTC’s rally to a one-month high of $75,000 despite the escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran.  Bitcoin Flashes Most Powerful Fractal In Markets Right Now In an X post, Merlijn stated that Bitcoin has formed the most powerful fractal in the market right now. He noted that gold had formed this structure in 1974, when it completed three waves, followed by a Fibonacci extension and a parabolic move. Now, BTC is forming an identical structure, with the third step forming.  Related Reading: Analyst Says Bitcoin Bulls Have Won And This Is The Next Target The analyst further said that $62,000 is the last line before the Fibonacci extension opens, and that if BTC holds this level, then the $226,000 Fibonacci target unlocks. However, if the leading crypto loses this level, then the fractal gets one more low first. Merlijn added that BTC is pointing to the same outcome as gold, with a parabolic move on the horizon.  In another X post, the analyst provided a bullish outlook for Bitcoin, citing global liquidity. He noted that M2 is expanding again and that BTC has just entered the green accumulation zone. Merlijn explained that the last two times this combination appeared, BTC multiplied. He added that a hold above $74,000 will confirm this liquidity cycle, while a drop below $65,000 means one more compression before a rally to the upside.  Bitcoin rallied to $75,000 yesterday, signaling that the leading crypto was again seeing bullish momentum despite the U.S.-Iran conflict. Veteran trader Peter Brandt suggested that BTC could rally above $80,000 in the short term.  Market Conditions Show Signs Of Stabilization And Market Recovery In a research report, the on-chain analytics platform Glassnode said that market conditions are showing signs of stabilization and gradual recovery. The spot CVD is said to have flipped decisively positive, which Glassnode noted reflects a return of aggressive buying pressure. Furthermore, the derivatives markets reflect rising but cautious engagement. Related Reading: Bitcoin’s Base Case: What To Expect Before The Run-Up Above $100,000 Glassnode stated that futures open interest has edged higher as futures CVD surged, while funding payments moved further into negative territory, which points to persistent short positioning. Meanwhile, the Bitcoin ETFs are seeing renewed interest, although the on-chain analytics platform noted the total ETF trading volume has cooled slightly from prior elevated levels.  Lastly, Glassnode mentioned that on-chain activity remains relatively muted, with active addresses declining below their lower band and transfer volumes improving modestly but remaining subdued. Fee volume is said to have remained stable, which reflects steady but quiet network usage.  At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is trading at around $74,100, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Crypto analyst Merlijn has revealed that Bitcoin has just re-entered the DCA zone, indicating it’s a good time to buy BTC. The leading crypto is already staging another rebound, rising to the psychological $70,000, which has so far proved to be a major resistance level.  Bitcoin Reenters DCA Zone As Price Eyes Another Rally In an X post, Merlijn stated that Bitcoin has just entered the DCA zone on the rainbow chart and that BTC is now back in the DCA zone. He noted that a massive rally has followed every time this has happened. At the same time, this is when retail investors have panicked and sold. The analyst added that this chart has never been wrong.  Related Reading: Bitcoin At The Bottom? The 23-Month Cycle That Has Never Failed In another X post, Merlijn stated that Bitcoin has reached a critical level, especially as it continues to trade within a tight range between $60,000 and $70,000. His accompanying chart showed that BTC could rally above $120,000 if it holds this support level. However, there is the possibility of a larger decline if it fails to hold this current range.  The analyst also revealed that Bitcoin is mirroring the 2021 top exactly with the same sequence, lower highs, and the same structure. He noted that 2021 ended with one final flush before the recovery. Merlijn said the $60,000 level is the last line of defense, and a hold above it would mean buyers are taking control. However, a drop below this level would put liquidity clusters below as the next targets.  Bitcoin saw a violent recovery following the final flush below, and the analyst is confident that this time won’t be different. Crypto analysts like Benjamin Cowen have predicted that BTC could recover by the second half of this year as part of the 4-year cycle.  Peter Brandt Predicts A Breakout For BTC Veteran trader Peter Brandt has predicted that Bitcoin could break out to the upside. In an X post, he said, alluding to BTC’s daily and weekly charts, that “the Big Banana is forming a Little Banana — and it indicates there is about to be a Banana Split.” His accompanying chart showed that the flagship crypto could rally to $82,500 by April.  Related Reading: Samson Mow Calls Bitcoin ‘Exponential Gold’, Predicts What Will Happen In the long term, Brandt predicted that Bitcoin could rally to $120,000 and possibly $280,000. His prediction comes just days after he admitted that BTC may be in the midst of a bullish reversal. The veteran trader said that he viewed Bitcoin’s rally to $74,000 back then as potentially a significant change in price behavior since the October top last year.  At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is trading at around $69,900, up over 3% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. #bitmex #arthur hayes #bitcoin news #coinmarketcap #dxy #year-to-date #ytd #merlijn #global m2 money supply

Crypto pundit Kyle Chassé has pointed to the rising global liquidity to prove that Bitcoin is currently undervalued. His comments come as fiat currencies like the Dollar and Yen continue to weaken amid concerns about governments’ fiscal policies.  Global Liquidity Points To A Bitcoin Target Of $270,000 In an X post, Kyle Chassé shared an accompanying chart highlighting a Bitcoin target of $270,000 based on rising global liquidity. The pundit stated that the herd says that $90,000 BTC is expensive, but that the fiat ledger has reminded everyone why the digital ledger exists. This came as he revealed that the global M2 money supply has hit a record $98 trillion, driven by aggressive expansion from the U.S., the Eurozone, China, and Japan.  Related Reading: Bitcoin Price Following The 2022 Fractal? Here Was The Previous Outcome Chassé further noted that year-to-date (YTD) global liquidity growth is now 6.2%, the fastest pace since the 2020 pandemic response. The pundit warned that in a system where the fiat denominator is permanently diluted, fixed-supply assets are not going up in price, but that cash is “loudly becoming worthless.” As such, he believes that BTC is a good hedge against currency debasement and potentially inflation.  The pundit’s comments notably come amid a decline in the dollar, with the DXY down since the start of the year. The yen is also down YTD, as these fiat declines are coming amid a push by the governments to increase spending. Increased government spending is considered bullish for Bitcoin, given its fixed supply compared to fiat currencies, which governments continue to print. BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes had also recently predicted that a rise in dollar liquidity would spark higher BTC prices.  However, that is yet to be the case as Bitcoin continues to trade like a risk asset and has erased its year-to-date (YTD) gains amid political tensions in the U.S. A U.S. government shutdown is also looking more likely by January 31, sparking a BTC drop below $87,000 yesterday.  BTC Will Rise Once Liquidity Returns Crypto pundit Merlijn assured that Bitcoin will rise once liquidity comes back. In an X post, he urged market participants to zoom out and that the BTC pattern would become obvious. The pundit revealed that the flagship crypto has already recorded waves 1, 2, and 3 with lower highs, which signal trend fatigue.  Related Reading: Here’s Why The Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Solana Prices Are Still Crashing Hard Now, Bitcoin is looking to form waves 4 and 5, which would signal a reset, absorption, and base building. Merlijn suggested that the bottom may not yet be in, but that once that happens, BTC could rally to as high as $124,000, bringing it close to its current all-time high (ATH) of $126,000.  At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is trading at around $87,700, down in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. A rare signal from a legendary market analyst has caught traders’ attention as the Ethereum and Solana price begins to show potential reversal signs. With the broader crypto market still in a slump, a subtle alert from the inventor of one of the most respected technical indicators has analysts wondering whether a major shift is about to unfold in ETH and SOL.  Bollinger Inventor Signals Ethereum And Solana Price Explosion John Bollinger, technical analyst and inventor of the world-famous Bollinger Bands indicator, has shocked the broader crypto community after identifying potential “W” bottoms forming on the Ethereum and Solana charts. In his market commentary on X social media, Bollinger noted that while Bitcoin has yet to exhibit similar signals, the ETHUSD and SOLUSD pairs are shaping up in a way that demands attention.  Related Reading: Ethereum Price Could Surge To $6,400 With New Bullish Wave, But There’s A Problem Notably, Bollinger’s cautious but bullish statement immediately drew attention from fellow market analysts. Satoshi Flipper, a well-known crypto expert, revealed that Bollinger typically makes only one such market call each year and has not issued one for Ethereum in three years. He disclosed that the last time the Bollinger Bands inventor made a similar statement was in September 2022, just before the ETH price surged from around $1,290 to nearly $4,000.  Due to Bollinger’s selective and historically accurate calls, analysts see it as an early sign of a potential reversal of a downtrend or consolidation into an explosive breakout. If the inventors’ analysis proves accurate once again, both Ethereum and Solana could be sitting at the foundation of one of their strongest bull rallies  Analysts Predict Bullish Targets For ETH And SOL Two separate technical analyses also highlight an optimistic outlook for the Ethereum and Solana prices. Crypto analyst Lark Davis highlighted that Solana’s chart structure appears “very constructive,” with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) approaching a momentum breakout and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) gearing up for a bullish cross.  Related Reading: Solana Price At Risk Of 50% Crash To $104 After Forming This Larger Bearish Trend Davis noted that Solana’s price action is forming a clear Double Bottom, a classic reversal pattern. Should the neckline break, he projects a potential price target near $250, provided bulls can defend the 200-day EMA. With Solana trading around $192, a rally to that target would mark roughly a 30% gain.  Ethereum’s technical outlook is even more dramatic. Analyst Merlijn the Trader stated on X that ETH has been developing the most explosive setup since the 2017 bull cycle, pointing to a textbook Bullish Pennant pattern on the monthly chart. Historically, such formations precede massive continuation once the price breaks above the upper boundary of the pattern.  Merlijn’s chart analysis projects an eventual breakout target around $8,500, suggesting that Ethereum could set a new all-time high soon. Considering that the ETH price is sitting above $4,000, a surge to this bullish target would more than double its value, marking an impressive 110% increase. Crypto analyst Lourenço has predicted that the Ethereum price could rally to $9,000 in this market cycle. This comes as ETH eyes a breakout against its BTC pair, which could spark a massive run for the crypto and other altcoins.  Ethereum Price Eyes Rally To $9,000 This Cycle In an X post, Lourenço opined that the Ethereum price could rally to as high as $9,000 at some point in this market cycle. This came as he analyzed the weekly ETH chart. The analyst noted that, depending on how the trend on the upper side of the wedge is drawn, the altcoin may have already broken it with hard closes above.  Related Reading: Ethereum Price To $20,000? ETH Is Mirroring Bitcoin’s Move From 2021 Lourenço declared that the $4,000 level is an important one and that once it flips into support, there will be additional resistance between $4,700 and $5,000. However, the analyst believes that the Ethereum price is ultimately set to go and tag between $8,000 and $9,000. He also indicated that the risk-return ratio on ETH is very hard to ignore at the moment.  Crypto analyst Galaxy also echoed a similar bullish sentiment for the Ethereum price. In an X post, he said that there is a lot of potential upside for ETH on the BTC pair. The analyst noted that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is still bottomed and that, from his perspective, the trend is just beginning.  His accompanying chart showed that the RSI isn’t in overbought levels despite the fact that the Ethereum price has rallied over 60% in the past month. Notably, ETH’s RSI had surged above 60 on previous highs, including when it reached its current ATH of $4,800 in 2021.  The Key Is For ETH To Break Above $4,000 In an X post, crypto analyst Ted revealed that the key is for the Ethereum price to break above the $4,000 level. He noted that since the 2021 ATH, ETH hasn’t been able to reclaim the $4,000 level. However, if that happens this time around, he declared that the ETH pump will be “unstoppable.” Related Reading: Crypto Founder Reveals What Will Drive Ethereum Price To $10,000 His accompanying chart showed that the Ethereum price could rally to $5,200 in the short term. This will mark a new all-time high for the altcoin. Crypto analyst Merlijn also hammered on the $4,000 resistance. He noted that this has been the ceiling for ETH since 2021, and it has been rejected from this level seven times.  However, the Ethereum price is again looking to break above this level. Merlijn remarked that this resistance isn’t just another resistance but the “gate to price discovery.” His accompanying chart showed that ETH could reach $11,000 between now and 2026 if it breaks this resistance level.  At the time of writing, the Ethereum price is trading at around $3,800, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Crypto analyst Crypto Wave has indicated that Ethereum could witness another significant price crash, presenting a bearish outlook for the altcoin. This price crash is expected to mark Wave C of a corrective move, with ETH dropping to as low as $1,800. Why Ethereum Could Still Drop To As Low As $1,800 In an X post, Crypto Wave declared that the primary expectation remains that Ethereum will see one more leg down in wave c of wave 2, targeting the zone between $1,950 and $1,700. Specifically, his accompanying chart showed that the largest altcoin by market cap could drop to around $1,800.  Related Reading: Ethereum Price Crash To $2,100 Triggers Fear, But Why Are Analysts Predicting A Rally To $6,000? The crypto analyst revealed that Ethereum has already hit the 0.5 fib retracement at $2,100, which is the minimum target for a Wave 2 correction. However, structurally, he claimed that this drop still looks like wave A only. Crypto Wave further explained that these ABC corrections are always three-part moves, and that is what he sees forming now for ETH.  The broader crypto market, led by Bitcoin, has bounced back following the ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Ethereum has also rebounded, having dropped to as low as $2,100 last week. However, Crypto Wave suggested that the current market sentiment doesn’t invalidate this bearish setup for ETH and that it could still witness a deeper sell-off.  The crypto analyst alluded to the fourth quarter of last year when Ethereum was underperforming heavily while many altcoins rallied. In line with this, he remarked that there could be a repeat of this scenario. However, on the other hand, Crypto Wave claimed that if ETH breaks above $2,880 impulsively, especially in one clean wave, then the correction could be over. He added that this would also put the altcoin in the early stages of a new bull cycle. 2021 Pattern Playing Out For ETH In an X post, crypto analyst Merlijn drew similarities between the current Ethereum price action and that of 2021. He stated that the 2021 playbook is repeating, with ETH having a dead count bounce, then a final retest before the parabolic leg. The analyst expects the altcoin to retest the $2,000 level before the massive move to the upside.  Related Reading: Market Expert Who Predicted Ethereum Price Crash At $2,800 Reveals What’s Coming Next His accompanying chart showed that Ethereum could rally to as high as $11,000 on this uptrend. Merlijn had remarked that ETH has more firepower this time around than in 2021, which is why the altcoin could witness such a parabolic move to the upside. Interestingly, based on the chart, this rally is expected to happen between now and year-end. At the time of writing, the Ethereum price is trading at around $2,480, up over 2% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview.com

Ethereum’s price action in the past 24 hours has been characterized by a fall toward $2,100 before rebounding to the upside very quickly. Ethereum’s price dropped to $2,130 in the past 24 hours on crypto exchange Coinbase amidst a broader fall in the crypto industry, which also saw Bitcoin break below $100,000 very briefly.  Despite the sudden Ethereum price correction, analysts have presented arguments that hint at a strong Ethereum rally once this current downturn is complete. Notably, their projections are not short-term, and one of them puts Ethereum’s next major target around $6,000. Wave A Complete, But Downside Likely Before Rally The first detailed analysis came from @CryptoWaveV, a trader who uses Elliott Wave Theory to forecast market structure. According to his recent post, Ethereum’s price has now completed what he considers to be wave A of a larger corrective structure. His chart shows Ethereum breaking down from a high around $2,900 and falling almost directly into a Fibonacci-based support zone between $2,134 and $1,957. Related Reading: Ethereum Bullish Wave Towards ATH Coming? Here Are The Targets Now that the Wave A pattern is complete, the prediction is a short-term bounce to as high as $2,792 as part of a wave B retracement. However, this upward move would likely be temporary before another Wave C leg downward, which could drive the Ethereum price to as low as $1,706 before a meaningful bottom is confirmed.  This level is what the analyst refers to as his “ideal buy zone” for long-term accumulation. Although the short-term view includes price crashes, a full bullish impulse will resume once this corrective phase is complete. Wyckoff Structure Points $6,000 ETH Price Merlijn, a popular analyst on X, shared a contrasting yet converging perspective. In this case, the analyst’s outlook is based on Wyckoff’s accumulation framework. Merlijn stated, “Ethereum: Wyckoff says go.”  Related Reading: The 5 Bullish Cases That Says Ethereum Price Could Reach $10,000 In 2025 According to the daily price chart that followed his analysis, the analyst showed that the crypto had already completed the spring and test phases, which are both components of a Wyckoff accumulation pattern. What comes next, according to the Wyckoff method, is the markup phase.  The chart Merlijn posted aligns with this outlook. The chart projected that Ethereum will reclaim a horizontal range between $2,150 and $2,450, followed by a steady progression above $3,850, and then another strong move past $4,800, before ultimately culminating around $6,800 to $7,000. This bullish setup suggests that while the recent dip to $2,100 might have shaken confidence, it may have served a larger structural purpose. The spring and test patterns imply a final shakeout of weak hands, clearing the path for long-term buyers to step in. Finally, the outlooks from both analysts converge on a six-month to one-year trajectory that could see Ethereum breaking into the $6,000 range, if not higher. At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $2,420, up by 7.4% in the past 24 hours. Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com

The Bitcoin price has just printed a rare Golden Cross on the weekly chart — a technical signal that historically appears once every market cycle. This Golden Cross has previously preceded some of Bitcoin’s most explosive bull runs, and analysts are eyeing its return as a sign that the next bullish leg up could be near. A Golden Cross occurs when a shorter-term Moving Average (MA), usually the 50-week MA, crosses above a longer-term one, like the 20-week MA. In the crypto world, this technical formation is perceived as a significantly bullish indicator that often leads to a long-term trend reversal or the start of a new uptrend. While the signal alone doesn’t guarantee gains, Bitcoin’s price history suggests it’s one worth watching closely.  Bitcoin Price Flashes Super Rare Golden Cross According to ‘Merlijn The Trader’, a crypto analyst on X (formerly Twitter), the Bitcoin price has just flashed a Golden Cross, one that has only been seen three times in the past decade. Each time Bitcoin has printed this Golden Cross, it has undergone a parabolic move upwards.  Related Reading: Is The Bitcoin Price Top In At $109,000 Already? What The MVRV Z-Score Says In 2016, Bitcoin recorded a massive surge of 139% after flashing a Golden Cross on its price chart. Similarly, in the 2017 bull cycle, the flagship cryptocurrency underwent another crossover, which led to an astonishing 2,200% increase, marking one of its most parabolic rallies and capturing the attention of the world.  In 2020, during the historic bull market that led to Bitcoin’s global exposure and dominance, the same Golden Cross pattern was formed. Following this, Bitcoin recorded a 1,190% rally, pushing its price to its then all-time high near $69,000 in 2021.  Now, in 2025, five years after the previous Golden Cross appearance, Bitcoin has once again printed this powerful signal and could be on the verge of another historic rally. The analyst’s price chart shows the crossover forming clearly, with many comparisons to the previous cycle setups  While the exact percentage price increase this time remains unknown, the consistency of the pattern has sparked the analyst’s prediction that Bitcoin may be gearing up for a powerful rally above $200,000.  Analyst Predicts BTC’s Next ATH Target In another similarly bullish Bitcoin price analysis, Crypto Caeser, an analyst on X, has projected that the flagship cryptocurrency will soon hit a new ATH this cycle. While many suggest that the Bitcoin price surge above $109,000 during US President Donald Trump’s inauguration was its market top, a significant portion of the community still expect a rally to a higher peak before a bear market.  Related Reading: Bitcoin Sees Highest Exchange Outflows In 2 Years, What This Means For Price Sharing a Bitcoin price chart that outlines its possible bullish trajectory, Crypto Caeser predicts that the flagship cryptocurrency could be heading to a “weak high” of $110,000. The analyst has pinpointed a key support zone around $90,000, emphasizing that this was the most optimal price level for maximum buying. Featured image from Pixabay, chart from Tradingview.com

According to a crypto analyst, the Ethereum price is on the verge of a breakout, and investors who don’t buy it now could be left with regrets later. With technical indicators pointing towards a significant price surge, the analyst forecasts that Ethereum (ETH) could climb as high as $12,000 this bull cycle. Ethereum Price Headed To $12,000? Prominent crypto analyst Captain Faibik has issued a stark warning to investors, urging them to buy Ethereum at a particular price low or risk entering the market late and regretting it. With Ethereum’s current price action signaling a potential bullish breakout, Faibik predicts that the cryptocurrency can hit a new all-time high of $12,000 in 2025. Related Reading: Ethereum Gets Massive $12,000 Price Tag From Research Lead Ahead Of Major Upgrade Looking at the analyst’s Ethereum price chart, the timeline for this ambitious projection is set around Q4 2025, more than eight months from now. Faibik indicated that Ethereum has been within a consolidation symmetrical Triangle for a while and finally looks ready to bottom.  This week, Ethereum appears to have broken through the descending resistance line of the symmetrical triangle, indicating the start of a potential price rebound. Faibik believes Ethereum has likely hit its market bottom at $2,648 and could go up from here.  Historically, cryptocurrencies that reach a bottom tend to experience a major rally as prices stabilize and momentum builds after consolidation. In the case of Ethereum, Faibik has highlighted the purported $2,648 price bottom as a key buy-the-dip opportunity.  Furthermore, the analyst suggested that entering the market at this level was crucial, as investors risk missing out on potential gains. Faibik predicts that once Ethereum initiates a bounce back, its price could skyrocket as high as $12,000. This massive rally would represent a 353.7% surge, marking Ethereum’s highest price increase since its previous bull run.  Sharing similar bullish sentiments, Kazi, another crypto analyst on X, forecasts that Ethereum will reach $12,203. The analyst also highlighted a breakout from a symmetrical triangle as the trigger for this bullish surge to new ATHs.  ETH Gas Fees Crash, Sparks Rally Speculations In other news, Ethereum’s gas fees have experienced a significant crash, sparking rumours of a potential price rally. Crypto analyst Merlijn the Trader announced this report to his over 312,000 followers on X. The analyst revealed that the Ethereum founder, Vitalik Buterin, had previously promised to fix the initial high gas fees, making them more affordable for the network users. Related Reading: Ethereum’s Large Consolidation Trend Points To Possible Price Explosion To $8,000 Now, average Ethereum gas fees are down to 0.794 gwei ($0.04), marking a major decrease from their previous high of 0.873 gwei ($0.05). Due to this unexpected but highly welcomed development, Merlijn the Trader, questions whether the crash in Ethereum’s gas fees is signaling the start of ETH’s next rally.
