A monthly chart of Dogecoin shows a brutal pattern of repeated rejections and cascading drops that looks grim at first glance.  Crypto analyst Trader Tardigrade laid out a decade-long structure in which the Dogecoin price has been hammered at critical resistance three separate times, triggering a massive plunge on each occasion. The 2026 rejection is now in place, and the analyst sees a third repeat of the same devastating sequence. However, the chart has a twist that changes everything. Related Reading: Bitcoin ETFs Lose Nearly Half A Billion Dollars As Fear Returns To Crypto Dogecoin Gets Hammered On An Inverted Monthly Chart Trader Tardigrade’s chart shows DOGE/USD on the monthly timeframe, but the price scale is flipped. This means the lower the chart moves, the higher Dogecoin is moving in normal market price. The red descending line designated as a critical resistance is therefore not a bearish ceiling in the usual sense. It is a resistance line on an inverted chart, and a rejection from it sends the price downward. As shown on the chart, Dogecoin couldn’t break through and got sent straight back down below the level. However, considering this is inverted, what it actually means is that Dogecoin is bouncing on a support trendline. A drop on the inverted scale would translate into a rally in DOGE’s real price. The analyst pointed to three major moments when Dogecoin touched this inverted resistance and failed to break through. The first came around the 2017 cycle, the second around the 2021 cycle, and the third is being presented as the current 2026 setup. In each previous case, the rejection was followed by a large move downward on the inverted chart, which means a large rally upward on the normal Dogecoin chart. Dogecoin Price Chart. Source: @TATrader_Alan On X What’s Next For Dogecoin? “This drop is coming,” the analyst said. However, the drop being referenced is not a normal Dogecoin price crash. It is a drop on the inverted chart. In normal terms, that means the Dogecoin price would be rising. The chart’s projection even points to double-digit price levels if the historical drops on the inverted chart repeats itself. That target is extreme compared to Dogecoin’s current price around $0.108. A move to $1 would require DOGE to rise by more than 825% from current levels, while a move to $10 would require a rally of more than 9,000%. However, the projection on the chart shows the Dogecoin price going to as high as $23. This is why the chart should be read as a long-term setup. Some XRP watchers are not waiting for a dip below $1. They are looking the other way — toward $17. Related Reading: XRP Faces No Immediate Quantum Threat As Only 0.03% Supply Seen At Risk: Analyst The Pattern Behind The Price Target Market analyst Javon Marks has mapped out a long-term bull case for XRP using a measured move — a method that takes the size of a past rally and projects the same distance from a new breakout point. His chart points to a price target of $16.39, which would represent a gain of more than 1,100% from current levels. That works out to roughly a 12x increase. The setup goes back years. According to Marks, XRP formed a large pennant pattern starting in 2017, right after the token’s first major surge. To a fairly precise degree, the measured move price target for $XRP is right under $17. This means that another increase of over 1,111% could take place in response to the huge, 2017-like pennant breakout which occurred in late 2024. pic.twitter.com/4Hj5gZJYkj — JAVON⚡️MARKS (@JavonTM1) April 8, 2026 That kind of pattern typically reflects a pause before a trend picks back up. He says XRP broke out of that pennant in late 2024, during a broader market rally that followed the US presidential election. Using the scale of the original 2017 run as a guide, Marks projects the next leg of the move could carry XRP to near $17. In other words, if history repeats itself — and that is a big if — XRP could still be in the early part of a much larger move. XRP: Debate Among Analysts Not everyone is convinced the ride up will be smooth. Some XRP followers have raised the possibility of a fake breakout before any real rally takes hold. Marks acknowledged that kind of short-term volatility is possible. Still, he stood by the overall structure, saying the current setup closely mirrors what XRP looked like in 2017 before it made its big run. At current prices, Marks argues XRP is trading at a steep discount relative to where the measured move points. That framing has attracted attention from traders who follow chart-based analysis closely. XRP has been sending mixed signals this week. The token climbed to around $1.39 after news of an Iran ceasefire, then pulled back to roughly $1.32 — a drop of about 3.3% in 24 hours. Related Reading: Bessent Presses Congress On Crypto Rules As Senate Clock Ticks Down Other Bullish Voices In The Mix Marks is not alone in making a high-target call, though the numbers vary widely. Analyst CG has pointed to a two-year Elliott Wave count, with Wave 3 potentially driving XRP toward $24. Separately, another market commentator said XRP may be approaching a fresh all-time high after breaking out of a resistance-support triangle. At the same time, some analysts have held onto the view that a drop below $1 remains on the table before any major move higher. That split shows just how divided the XRP crowd remains heading into what could be a defining stretch for the token. Featured image from Unsplash, chart from TradingView

A massive token unlock scheduled for late July could make things worse. Related Reading: Bitcoin ETFs Pull In $56B As CEO Pitches Crypto Over Gold Thailand authorities raided an iris-scanning site tied to Sam Altman’s World project last October. That was trouble enough. Now the foundation behind the biometric identity platform is selling its own token at a fraction of what investors paid less than a year ago — and the market is not taking it well. World Foundation disclosed Saturday that its token issuance arm, World Assets, completed an over-the-counter sale of WLD tokens worth $65 million, spread across four buyers over the past week. The first batch settled on March 20. Based on an average sale price of roughly $0.27 per token, the deal involved around 239 million WLD changing hands. A 76% Drop From Last Year’s Deal Price The numbers tell the story. In May 2024, World raised $135 million at approximately $1.13 per token from backers including Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital Crypto. 1/ World Assets, Ltd. has now closed a series of OTC sales for a total of $65,000,000 with four counterparties over the past week, the first of which settled on March 20, 2026. — World Foundation (@worldcoinfnd) March 28, 2026 This latest sale went out the door at $0.27 — a 76% drop from that round. The foundation said the proceeds will fund core operations, research and development, orb manufacturing, and ecosystem work. 2/ The sale was conducted at an average price of ~$0.2719/WLD. $25,000,000 worth of the tokens sold are subject to a 6-month lockup period. — World Foundation (@worldcoinfnd) March 28, 2026 Not all the tokens sold are locked up. Of the $65 million total, only $25 million worth carry a six-month lockup period. The rest were immediately available to trade, meaning buyers could move those tokens on the open market right away. 3/ This sale funds the project’s core operations and activities, R&D, orb manufacturing, ecosystem development, and more. — World Foundation (@worldcoinfnd) March 28, 2026 WLD briefly touched an all-time low of $0.24 after the sale was announced before clawing back to around $0.27. At that price, the token sits roughly 97% below its peak of $11.82 recorded in March 2024. According to Coingecko data, WLD was trading at $0.2725 as of the latest reading, up just 0.27% over a 24-hour period. Another Wave Of Supply Approaching The pain may not be over. Data from DefiLlama shows a major community token unlock is set for July 23, covering about 52% of WLD’s total supply of 10 billion tokens. That kind of release typically adds selling pressure — and it arrives at a time when the token is already near its lowest point ever. World’s regulatory problems have also followed the project across borders. Authorities in Indonesia suspended World ID registration over compliance concerns. Brazil banned the platform’s eye-scanning operation. Germany opened its own inquiry. Kenya pushed back hard on data privacy grounds. #shiba inu #altcoin #altcoins #crypto market #cryptocurrency #shib #memecoins #crypto news

Shiba Inu is trading near a key support floor, and the numbers piling up on exchanges are giving traders reason to watch closely. Related Reading: Bitcoin Holds As Gold Posts Worst Week Since 1983 Amid Iran War The token is currently changing hands at around $0.000005603, down roughly 1% over the past 24 hours, while a growing stockpile of coins on trading platforms signals that more selling pressure may be building. RSI Reading Points To A Market In Wait-And-See Mode The Relative Strength Index for SHIB sits at 55 — technically neutral territory, where neither bulls nor bears have a clear edge. That number tells a story on its own. Buyers aren’t charging in. Sellers aren’t panicking out. Both sides are watching. Meanwhile, trading volume has fallen 24% in 24 hours to roughly $120 million, which means the market is quieting down at exactly the wrong moment for SHIB holders hoping for a breakout. On-chain data from CryptoQuant shows that around 200 billion SHIB tokens have flowed into exchanges over a short window. When traders move tokens onto exchanges rather than keeping them in private wallets, it usually means they’re positioning to sell or shift holdings. Sitting against a total exchange reserve of about 80 trillion SHIB, 200 billion may look small. But with a supply this large, even small movements carry weight. Price Stuck Below A Wall At $0.000006403 SHIB has tried and failed multiple times to push past the $0.000006403 resistance mark. The most recent attempt came on March 16, when the price briefly spiked before getting knocked back down in a single session, pulling the token toward its current support at $0.0000056. The pattern forming on the daily chart is one of distribution — meaning holders appear to be gradually offloading tokens rather than accumulating more. Active addresses on the network did nudge up about 1% in the past day, a sign that users are still engaged. But that uptick in activity hasn’t translated into any upward move in price, which suggests demand simply isn’t keeping pace with the tokens being pushed onto the market. Related Reading: Bitcoin Gains Ground On Gold Even As Both Assets Slide A Drop To $0.0000052 Could Follow If Selling Picks Up The next line of defense for Shiba Inu sits at $0.0000052. If exchange inflows keep rising and buyers stay on the sidelines, that level could be tested sooner rather than later. Reports indicate the token remains in a consolidating phase with no clear catalyst visible to break it higher in the short term. What happens next depends largely on whether demand picks up fast enough to absorb the growing exchange supply. For now, the balance is tilting in one direction. One person — or entity — controls 31% of all WAR tokens in circulation. That single fact sits quietly in the background as the Solana-based memecoin grabs headlines for one of the more dramatic two-day price swings in the current crypto cycle. The coin doubled on Friday. Today, nearly a quarter of those gains had been erased. Related Reading: Stablecoin Market Breaks Records — USDC Controls 70% Of $1.8 Trillion Volume On Unrest & Geopolitical Events WAR, which stands for Western Asset Reserve, bills itself as a geopolitical sentiment token — a coin whose price is meant to move with world events, particularly armed conflicts. It does not track war through any technical mechanism. The connection is purely narrative. When headlines about global tensions spread, traders buy in. When attention moves elsewhere, prices follow. According to data from CoinMarketCap, WAR fell from an intraday peak above $0.60 to around $0.028 during the selloff, Monday. Trading volume dropped roughly 20% over the same 24-hour window to approximately $22 million, with its total market cap sitting near $28 million. Token Migration Brought In Fresh Traders And Fresh Money Before the surge, WAR completed a platform move. The project shifted from Bonk.fun to Pump.fun, a more widely used launchpad on the Solana network. The team announced the migration window would stay open for seven days, after which a new contract would be deployed on Pump.fun. Token holders who missed the window would face a 10% tax on late claims, with a 90-day window to complete them. The move expanded WAR’s reach. On the day of the migration, trading volume climbed above $24 million as more retail participants gained access through Pump.fun’s broader toolset. Reports indicate the platform switch played a role in drawing fresh attention to the token ahead of its price spike. WAR launched earlier this year on Bonk.fun. Unlike memecoins built around animal mascots or celebrity names, it leaned into real-world conflict as its identity. Over roughly three months, its price rose 650% on the back of media attention and trader speculation. WAR Follows A Pattern Familiar To PolitiFi Token Watchers WAR is part of a group of tokens known as PolitiFi, which refers to tokens that are based on politics or international events, as opposed to technology. Other tokens in this group include TRUMP, MELANIA, LIBRA, among others. Related Reading: Bitcoin ETFs Break 5-Month Streak With 2nd Consecutive Week Of Inflows All these tokens have seen similar patterns in their price movement, with initial explosive increases in price, only to plummet as quickly as they began. From reports, it is evident that there is a plan in place by the development team for governance, as well as merchandise, though these plans are yet to be implemented. The liquidity of the token is mainly found in Solana-based exchanges, contributing to the volatility in its price over the last two days. With one individual owning nearly one-third of the supply, it is likely that the next move of the token will be determined by events in the world tomorrow, as opposed to events in the world of cryptocurrency. Sui’s blockchain resumed normal activity after a network stall that halted transactions for roughly six hours on January 14, 2026. According to reports, validators identified the problem in the mid-afternoon and worked to roll out a fix that restored block creation and transaction processing later that evening. Related Reading: Bitcoin’s New Power Buyers: Companies Bought 3 Times What Miners Produced Outage Timeline And Recovery Based on reports, Sui’s team first flagged the issue at about 2:52 pm UTC when block production and checkpoint creation stopped. Validators applied changes and began bringing nodes back into sync. Service was reported as restored at about 8:44 pm UTC, a span of roughly five hours and 52 minutes from detection to recovery. During that interval, no new blocks were finalized and user activity stopped across wallets and decentralized apps. The Sui network is now back and fully operational. Transactions are flowing normally. If you are still seeing issues, please refresh your app or browser window. Thanks for your patience. We will share a full incident review in the coming days. Please check… — Sui (@SuiNetwork) January 14, 2026 Transactions Halted And Value Frozen The halt left a large amount of on-chain value inactive while the network was stalled. Reports indicate more than $1 billion in value was effectively frozen during the outage, though there were no signs of funds being stolen or altered. Users and apps that rely on the chain saw failed or queued transactions, and many dApps displayed errors until validators finished their updates. Cause, Response And Market Reaction Reports have disclosed that the problem was recorded as a consensus outage, meaning the mechanism used to agree on new blocks stopped finalizing. A full technical root-cause writeup has not yet been published. The Sui Foundation said an incident report will appear later with more detail. The SUI token showed modest movement during the event, trading around $1.80–$1.85 in the hours after the network came back, with a brief spike recorded on some exchanges as the news circulated. Past Interruptions And Context Sui launched mainnet in May 2023, and this outage follows previous incidents that raised similar questions about validator coordination and uptime. One earlier major disruption occurred in November 2024, which also involved issues around consensus and validator operation. Developers who build on Sui said many of their services experienced interrupted user flows while the chain was stalled. Related Reading: Russia Drafts Bill That Could Change Who Can Buy Crypto Questions About Network Reliability Some community members and outside observers have asked how often such consensus stalls can happen and what measures will reduce future occurrences. Validators and the Sui team said they were focused on patching the immediate bug and improving monitoring so problems are detected faster. Based on reports, the foundation plans to share specific steps for validators and node operators in the upcoming post-mortem. Sui’s team has said transactions are flowing again and advised users to refresh wallets or apps if they still see problems. The network’s operators have promised more transparency with a formal incident report, which will be watched closely by developers, exchanges, and investors who depend on the chain’s steady operation.
