A major traditional finance infrastructure provider has set its sights on the Stellar blockchain, and market watchers say the timing could not be more significant. The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, better known as the DTCC, announced plans to connect its tokenization platform to the Stellar network as part of a broader multi-chain strategy. The move is aimed at supporting tokenized representations of assets held within the traditional financial system. XLM has bounced from the trendline once again, staying within the broader structure that has defined its behavior across multiple cycles. The Setup Behind The Call MikybullCrypto, a widely followed crypto analyst, says the current positioning mirrors conditions that preceded strong rallies in the past. He is calling for a bull market target range of $5 to $11 for XLM, projecting that the upcoming altcoin season will be significant. The analyst expects a breakout above the long-standing resistance zone to serve as the next major technical milestone. A move above that level, according to his chart, would put XLM on a path toward substantially higher ground. What The Pattern Suggests The structure MikybullCrypto references has repeated itself across different market environments over roughly nine years. Each time XLM has tested the rising support line, a recovery followed — though the magnitude has varied. Bullish sentiment around XLM has been building in recent weeks. Crypto pundit CharuSan has again commented on his prediction that XRP could rally above $300. He addressed concerns that the token’s potential market cap makes it impossible to reach this target, highlighting why the market cap metric doesn’t affect XRP. Pundit Points To Trillion-Dollar Market That Could Push XRP Above $300 In an X post, CharuSan alluded to the $27 trillion sitting idle in global Nostro/Vostro accounts, the massive volumes in FX markets, major banks, DTCC clearing, and institutional corporations as the reason why XRP could rally above $300. He noted that, based on this, it is a necessity to prevent the system from locking up for a bridge asset carrying this volume to reach a value of $10 trillion.   Related Reading: Market Analyst Accuses XRP Of Being The Biggest Crypto Scam, What’s Going On? The pundit noted that XRP is an institutional bridge asset and a liquidity tool specifically engineered to settle large cross-border value transfers without slippage. He also mentioned that market cap is a metric for stocks, not for institutional bridge assets or liquidity tools like XRP. Charusan further explained how the market is getting it wrong by focusing on the market cap metric.  He said that traditional financiers make a mistake when they say an $8 to $10 trillion market cap is too big. CharuSan noted that market cap doesn’t mean all circulating coins will be cashed out at that current price. Instead, it is simply the unit price of the last executed transaction multiplied by the supply.  CharuSan had earlier predicted that XRP would rally to $300 as it gains adoption by banks for settling cross-border transactions. He explained that the token needs to have a high price to avoid bottlenecks or massive slippage when banks are using it for settlements. The analyst also mentioned that the CLARITY Act will boost banks’ adoption of XRP.  Why XRP Could Be Undervalued On-chain analytics platform Santiment has explained why XRP could soon see a rebound. In an X post, they noted that the average XRP trader that has been active in the past 30 days is down around 47%, with many selling at the bottom. Santiment stated that, historically, the market value-to-realized value ratio (MVRV) will always average out to 0%, making the current period an “extreme” zone for XRP.  Related Reading: XRP Primary Elliot Wave Remains Intact And It’s Pointing Above $8 Santiment noted that XRP’s 30-day MVRV has fallen to its lowest level since December 2020, suggesting that fear and frustration among traders have reached rare extremes. This has historically preceded strong rebounds, indicating that a rebound for XRP may be on the horizon. The platform added that this deeply negative MVRV zone creates conditions where even small positive catalysts can trigger strong recoveries.   At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $1.32, down in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. XRP is gradually redefining how value is assessed in the crypto market, as its utility-focused narrative continues to expand beyond simple market cap comparisons. While some assets are judged primarily on speculative valuation, XRP’s role within the global payments infrastructure introduces a different framework centered on efficiency, liquidity, and real-world usage. How Institutional Payment Flows Could Shape XRP Demand XRP should be viewed less as a traditional cryptocurrency and more as a digital commodity designed to facilitate liquidity across global financial networks. According to CharuSan, market capitalization is a stock metric that fails to capture the true role of XRP as an institutional bridge asset powering global value transfer and liquidity pool. Related Reading: XRP Whales Accused Of Manipulating Liquidity In Major Market Move As adoption expands across banks, foreign exchange (FX) markets, and clearing institutions such as the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Nostro and Vostro accounts, and others, are beginning to use XRP at scale. Thus, the price will be calculated based on the supply within Ripple payments (ODL). Currently, it is being calculated through the available effective liquidity, not just the circulating supply alone. CharuSan explains that transaction velocity alone cannot replace liquidity depth, particularly when multiple institutions are processing larger simultaneous volumes of global transactions. Furthermore, velocity has limits.  Even in an optimized system, 1 XRP can realistically circulate a maximum of 10 times per day. XRP is designed for deep liquidity pools and enables high-value unit capacity, which is required to eliminate slippage and neutralize volatility risk for banks during high-value transfers. Trump’s Fintech Order Sparks New Optimism For XRP Adoption A recent fintech-focused executive order from President Donald Trump could represent a significant development for the broader digital asset industry and potentially for XRP’s long-term utility. A crypto analyst known as BankXRP on X stated that by instructing the Federal Reserve (Fed) to evaluate granting crypto firms direct access to US payment infrastructure, the policy introduces a pathway for blockchain companies like Ripple to integrate directly with the traditional financial system. Related Reading: XRP’s Recent Strategic Setup Could Mark The End For Bears – Crypto Analyst Says Thus, this administration could be transformational for Ripple, allowing it to access Fed payment rails to bypass legacy banking intermediaries entirely. For the XRP ecosystem, the result would likely be faster settlement speeds, lower institutional transaction costs, and direct access to Fed master accounts. BankXRP argues that if this review is successful, such a shift could elevate XRP’s role from a largely speculative asset to a regulated financial instrument embedded within global payment networks and a foundational pillar of international commerce. Analyst Skipper has updated that Ripple has reportedly reached a significant milestone by securing a banking license. The report suggests that the move has helped elevate Ripple’s valuation above $120 billion, reaffirming its position as a major financial infrastructure company tied to the XRP ecosystem. The idea of XRP trading at $589 may sound unrealistic at first, but the rationale behind it is not based on a normal crypto rally. Instead, it is based on a scenario where the XRP Ledger becomes part of high-value delivery-versus-payment settlement at the DTCC/CLS layer, with the altcoin acting as the liquidity asset behind large institutional transactions. Meanwhile, under that model, $589 is the level XRP would need to reach to support about $73 trillion in annual settlement flow with limited slippage. The Transactions That Cannot Be Made Smaller To understand the $589 figure, one must first understand the category of transaction it is designed to accommodate. Also, the $589 XRP calculation starts with the assumption that the XRP Ledger achieves delivery-versus-payment adoption at a layer comparable to the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS).  Related Reading: Analyst Says XRP Path To $100 Is Not Straightforward, These Things Will Happen First Under this scenario, the token would be used for large obligations that cannot be easily netted, broken into smaller parts, or settled through multiple layers. These transactions can range from about $500 million to $10 billion per ticket.  There are many corridors that fall under these transactions, and this model breaks it into six corridors. DTCC net settlement is assigned about $15 trillion at 20% capture; SWIFT cross-border settlement is assigned about $21 trillion at 14% capture and FX derivatives net settlement is assigned about $12 trillion at 12% capture. Furthermore, repo and FICC atomic settlement is assigned about $5 trillion at 10% capture, nostro displacement is assigned about $9 trillion at 33% capture, and stablecoin settlement is assigned about $11 trillion at 33% capture. This comes to a total of $73 trillion in annual volume passing through the XRP Ledger. The Square Root Market Impact Model Produces $589 XRP In order for XRP to serve as the bridge asset absorbing these flows, it must be deep enough that something like a $2 billion ticket can settle without moving its price beyond the 5 basis points of slippage that institutional FX desks treat as standard. Related Reading: ‘XRP Was Never Designed To Be Cheap,’ So What Is Its Real Value? The $589 figure comes from an inverted version of the square root market impact law. The model uses a $2 billion ticket size, $73 trillion in annual volume, 0.5% volatility, 5 basis points of slippage tolerance, 1.36% turnover, and a 25 billion XRP liquid float.  Furthermore, the liquid float assumption excludes escrowed XRP, ETF-held XRP, treasury-held XRP, and inactive wallets. Under that setup, the required market cap comes out near $14.7 trillion. Dividing that required market cap by 25 billion liquid XRP gives a required price of about $589. Hence, the calculation is very different from a simple market cap comparison using the full circulating supply. The current circulating supply of XRP is about 61.82 billion XRP, which is much larger than the assumed 25 billion liquid float in the model. This means the $589 outcome depends on only a smaller portion of XRP being truly available for active settlement liquidity. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $1.37. Crypto pundit Remi has declared that an XRP rally to $1,000 is nothing big, indicating that the altcoin could easily reach this target. The pundit also revealed why he believes that XRP could rally much higher, outlining potential use cases for the token.  Pundit Explains Why XRP Can Rally Well Above $1,000 In an X post, Remi remarked that those who think an XRP rally to $1,000 is something “big” haven’t been out in the real world. First, he alluded to the DTCC, stating that XRP can’t be less than $100 solely because of the DTCC utility, as this could drive in “quadrillions” of dollars. The pundit is alluding to the DTCC working with Ripple on its tokenization goals, which could be bullish for XRP.  Related Reading: These Catalysts Can Trigger The Next XRP Price Run, But Can It Reach $3? Furthermore, Remi noted that the inclusion of SWIFT, tokenization, U.S. debt, the Special Drawing Rights (SDR), and the entire banking system makes it impossible for XRP to support such use cases without slippage unless the token is worth over $1,000. In line with this, he declared that if the bull cycle ends quickly, then XRP is likely to have only a three-digit price tag. However, if the cycle extends, then the altcoin could rally above $1,000.  The pundit also noted that XRP needs volume and adoption percentage, which he believes will only come with time. He declared that it will be a quick adoption. XRP is already seeing significant adoption with increased activity on the XRP Ledger. The total tokenized value on the network has surpassed $3 billion, according to data from RWA.xyz.  The CLARITY Act Factor Remi stated that if the CLARITY Act gets signed into law by July, and the bull cycle ends in September, then XRP won’t have time to mature before the cycle ends. However, he believes the token will keep rising while the economy tanks, and that it could rally above $1,000 at year-end 2027 rather than at the start of the year.  Related Reading: XRP History Is About To Repeat Itself And Price Could Rally 1,008% To Cross $10 Interestingly, the pundit also raised the possibility of XRP rallying to $100,000 in the near future, stating that this could happen when they make XRP an e-SDR. He declared that this would happen as the token becomes the settlement rail for the global financial system. He doubled down on the e-SDR angle, predicting that XRP could reach as high as $5,000 overnight if the  International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) labels the token as an e-SDR. Remi also expressed confidence that this will eventually happen.  At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $1.42, up over 3% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Ondo is gaining significant institutional traction after being selected to participate in a key working group led by DTCC. This move places Ondo in direct collaboration with established financial institutions and infrastructure leaders, working to define how traditional assets can be brought on-chain at scale. What Ondo’s DTCC Role Means For The Broader Crypto Market In a recent post on X, Ondo Finance has revealed that the firm has been selected to join an industry working group led by Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a major initiative aimed at advancing tokenization across the United States capital markets. DTCC currently custodies over $114 trillion in assets and has processed an estimated $3.7 quadrillion in transactions annually. Related Reading: Ondo Finance Brings Tokenized Stocks, ETFs To BNB Chain With New Expansion The initiative focuses on building a tokenization service designed to bring the core of the US capital market infrastructure on-chain, with Ondo among the selected group of firms contributing to its design. With this initiative, Ondo is positioned to work alongside major financial institutions such as BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Franklin Templeton, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Citadel Securities, NYSE Group, Circle, Fireblocks, Robinhood, and more. Furthermore, the DTCC President and CEO, Frank La Salla, emphasized the significance of this transition, noting that tokenization has the potential to transform how markets operate, unlocking new levels of liquidity, transparency, and efficiency for investors. With over 50 years of experience, the DTCC has been at the center of US capital markets. Its decision to build a tokenization service and to bring Ondo to the table alongside the world’s leading financial institutions reflects how far tokenization has come. As the largest tokenizer of stocks, ETFs, and US Treasuries, Ondo is well-positioned to help shape the next phase of financial innovation, one that aims to keep US markets competitive in an increasingly digital and global economy. Institutional Adoption Accelerates Beyond Experimentation In another major move, Franklin Templeton, a $1.7 trillion asset manager, has made a decisive move into blockchain by choosing Ondo Finance as its gateway to the next generation of investors. An analyst known as 2xnmore on X highlighted that instead of building its own infrastructure or relying on traditional financial intermediaries, the firm has opted to leverage Ondo’s existing on-chain rails. Related Reading: Bitget and Bitget Wallet Support Trading of Over 100 Tokenized Assets via Ondo Finance Through the Ondo global markets, five ETFs are now live and tradeable 24/7 directly from crypto wallets. This removes many of the traditional barriers associated with investing, such as brokerage accounts, geographic limitations outside the US, and reliance on intermediaries, offering a more open approach. Ondo currently controls an estimated 70% of the tokenized equity market, while targeting the much larger $30 trillion global ETF market. Also, this massive gap between Ondo’s current footprint and its potential addressable market underscores the scale of the opportunity ahead. Meanwhile, the broader message is clear. Wall Street is no longer approaching crypto as an experiment. Instead, institutions are approaching blockchain as a more efficient infrastructure layer, and Ondo built the rails first. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) said Monday it has reached new progress and clarified timelines for delivering its tokenization service—an initiative aimed at bringing tokenized real-world securities into the same infrastructure used by the US capital markets today.  Two-Phase Rollout For Tokenized RWAs DTCC said the service will move in two phases. It plans to facilitate initial, limited “production” trades of real-world assets (RWAs) that have been tokenized using the tokenization service in July 2026. After that trial period, DTCC expects to launch the service more fully in October of this year.  DTCC’s tokenization service, as described in its release, is designed for tokenizing real-world, DTC-custodied assets while preserving the core rights that investors expect from securities held in traditional form.  Related Reading: This Signal Has Predicted Every Bitcoin Bottom, Here’s What It’s Saying Now The company said tokenized assets supported through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) would provide the “same entitlements, investor protections and ownership rights” as conventional custody arrangements.  DTCC further emphasized that the service is built on DTC’s existing resilience and accountability, noting that DTC already custodies assets worth more than $114 trillion. In remarks accompanying the announcement, Brian Steele, DTCC Managing Director and President for Clearing & Securities Services, said the goal is to provide “systemic scale where deep liquidity already lives.”  Steele also framed the effort as a way to develop the service “in lockstep” with both current industry needs and expected future requirements—while the market collectively builds what DTCC calls “a digital ecosystem.” How The DTCC Plans To Bridge TradFi And DeFi DTCC’s digital assets leadership also tied the initiative to broader infrastructure goals. Nadine Chakar, DTCC Managing Director and Global Head of Digital Assets, said tokenization is a “critical step” toward building digital infrastructure for the future.  She added that DTCC aims to stay at the forefront of innovation by supporting a scalable, interoperable, and risk-managed Web3 environment, one that uses digital ledger technology to deliver real value to the broader industry. DTCC said the firms involved in the Industry Working Group represent a wide cross-section of roles, including custodians, asset managers, brokers, trading venues, application providers, and back-office service providers.  The participating firms include Anchorage Digital, Bank of America, BitGo Bank, BlackRock, and Ripple Prime, as well as over 50 other firms from the traditional finance (TradFi) sector and the crypto industry.  Related Reading: XRP Setup Nobody’s Watching Points To Fast Move Higher, Crypto Analyst Says DTCC President and CEO Frank La Salla described the project as a step toward bridging TradFi and decentralized finance (DeFi) through structured, ongoing dialogue.  La Salla said DTCC continues to convene a broad group of industry leaders to support digital assets adoption and innovation, and that the organization sees its tokenization vision as coming to fruition through both launching the service and “successfully bridging TradFi and DeFi.”  Featured image from OpenArt, chart from TradingView.com

Crypto pundit SMQKE has shared an important thing that XRP holders have to remember when it comes to the altcoin’s price. He alluded to the token’s historical price appreciation and noted that XRP is better positioned to record more significant gains following Ripple’s recent acquisitions.  What To Remember About XRP’s Price In an X post, SMQKE reminded XRP holders that the token delivered nearly 350x returns between 2017 and 2018, while Bitcoin and Ethereum gained 14x and 100x, respectively, during that period. He noted that this means XRP’s price increase was roughly 24x steeper than Bitcoin’s.  Related Reading: XRP Ledger Hits New RWA Milestone, But Will This Have Any Impact On The Price? The pundit remarked that this occurred before Ripple completed any of its major institutional acquisitions, with XRP recording those gains simply due to early network momentum. Now, the fundamentals are believed to be more bullish as Ripple has completed strategic acquisitions of over $3 billion since 2017 to build institutional-grade infrastructure.  SMQKE stated that these key moves include Ripple’s 2023 acquisition of Metaco for $250 million, which now provides bank-grade custody used by G-SIBs. In 2024, the crypto firm acquired Standard Custody, which is a New York-regulated trust services provider. Most of its acquisitions came last year, which have been bullish for XRP.  Ripple acquired Hidden Road, which is now Ripple Prime, for $1.25 billion. SMQKE noted that this is a prime brokerage that clears trillions annually. Ripple also acquired the stablecoin payments platform Rail, the corporate treasury management platform GTreasury, and the wallet and custody provider Palisade last year.  The pundit stated that these acquisitions create a much stronger foundation for durable price appreciation in XRP. He also alluded to the potential integration of XRP into SWIFT, FedNow, and DTCC. Based on this, SMQKE remarked that the altcoin’s past returns may have only been a preview of what its future network value could become.  Why Price Is Still Low SMQKE alluded to a statement from former Ripple executive Marcus Treacher, who noted that XRP isn’t a speculative currency but rather a long-term play for the future. He highlighted how the altcoin could grow massively in value over the long term as a result of what Ripple is building with XRP.  Related Reading: XRP OI Z-Score Just Dropped To Levels Seen Before Its 600% Rally In 2024 Treacher noted that transforming how payments work worldwide is a big deal and that once they achieve this with the XRP Ledger, everything else will start to fall into place. Meanwhile, SMQKE mentioned that news doesn’t move prices and that utility does. As such, he suggested that the focus should be on expanding XRP’s use cases and that the price will rise significantly as the altcoin continues to gain adoption.  At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $1.39, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap. XRP is currently trading around $1.33, down by about 64% from its all-time high of $3.65 reached in July 2025. The irony is that the cryptocurrency has spent the past several months shedding value when Ripple, the company behind its primary use case, has been executing developments at a pace that few technology companies in any sector can match. A crypto pundit on X has pointed to what could be the disconnect. According to the pundit, the heavy lifting behind XRP’s development is already complete, yet the market has not reflected it in price. Ripple’s Years Of Work May Already Be Complete According to the pundit’s post, Ripple currently holds more than 75 regulatory licenses across the world’s major financial markets. The pundit’s contention is that obtaining even half of those licenses from scratch would require between eight and twelve years of sustained effort, along with hundreds of millions of dollars in legal and compliance resources. “That development phase has already taken place,” the pundit wrote. “The market has not yet priced this in.” Related Reading: Analyst Says The Real XRP Move Hasn’t Happened Yet, What To Expect Ripple has one of the most extensive compliance footprints in the crypto industry, with regulatory licenses across major financial hubs, including Europe, the UK, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and North America.  For instance, Ripple has secured both an Electronic Money Institution license and crypto-asset registration from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. In wider Europe, Ripple secured full approval of its EMI license in Luxembourg, granting it passporting rights that allow it to operate in all 27 EU member states under a single authorization.  On the US front, the DTCC’s National Securities Clearing Corporation directory added Hidden Road Partners CIV US LLC, the prime brokerage arm Ripple acquired for $1.25 billion, with operational clearing credentials.  The DTCC also filed patents in 2025 explicitly naming Ripple and XRP as compatible infrastructure for its tokenized finance framework. For context, the DTCC is the backbone of the entire US securities market. The Market Still Isn’t Pricing In Utility Despite that progress with Ripple, XRP’s price action has been on a different path since its 2025 peak. The cryptocurrency is now struggling to break above $1.40, with repeated rejections in the mid-$1.30s showing that buyers are not yet willing to push it into a sustained uptrend. Related Reading: Major Ripple Developments You Might Have Missed That Could Affect The XRP Price The issue comes down to how markets assign value. Infrastructure alone does not immediately translate into price appreciation unless it drives clear and consistent demand for the asset itself.  The broader cryptocurrency market also experienced capital outflows throughout February and March 2026, mostly due to trade tariffs introduced by the Trump administration and escalating military pressure in the Middle East. This is reflected through outflows from spot crypto ETFs, and inflows are only starting to creep back in the past few days. The CLARITY Act Senate Banking Committee markup is targeted for the second half of April 2026, and it could be the final straw that sees the XRP price reflecting its development. This bill would permanently classify XRP as a digital commodity under federal law and may lead to billions in new ETF inflows. Featured image from Pxfuel, chart from Tradingview.com

An XRP expert has shared reassuring messages to investors and traders as the cryptocurrency’s price continues to trend downwards, showing no signs of a short-term rebound. The analyst has advised investors not to worry about XRP’s price action or recent weakness, urging them to focus instead on its broader outlook and the significant institutional volume that could flow through the blockchain in the future.  Why Investors Should Stay Calm About The XRP Price Pseudonymous market analyst @UnknowDLT is offering calm guidance to the broader XRP community as investors and traders navigate the current bearish cycle. The analyst encouraged market participants not to fret over the recent price declines or to become increasingly desperate, even as the short-term outlook becomes more uncertain.  Related Reading: XRP Battle Zones Have Been Drawn: The Move To $31 That Could Change Everything The analyst reassured investors, emphasizing XRP’s long-term potential. He pointed out that major institutions like the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) could soon be channeling as much as $3.8 quadrillion across multiple blockchains in the industry, including the XRP Ledger (XRPL). He explained that even a small fraction of this volume flowing through the XRPL, about 5-10%, could be a major game changer for XRP. The analyst noted that the influx of capital could dramatically influence price, potentially generating substantial return on investment (ROI) for investors. Looking at the bigger picture, @UnknowDLT has emphasized that XRP’s adoption by major financial players and its role as a channel for institutional capital could become the factor that reverses the current bearish market and negative sentiment.   Despite his encouragement, many community members remain skeptical, expressing more concerns about XRP’s price performance. One user suggested that many investors are panicking because XRP has no clear direction. He noted that many believe that an explosive price rally might be a pipe dream, highlighting that the longer it takes to materialize, the stronger the doubts become. Another member advised @UnknowDLT not to blame investors who have been holding XRP for years. He pointed out that many influencers continue to make absurd price predictions for XRP by year’s end, fueling FOMO and raising hopes, only for the cryptocurrency to decline, leaving investors disappointed once again.   Other Factors Supporting XRP Price Growth In a follow-up post, @UnknowDLT highlighted additional bullish factors that could propel XRP from its ongoing price slump. The analyst noted that Ripple, the crypto company behind XRP, which also holds more than 40% of its supply, has partnered with several TIER 1 banks.  Related Reading: XRP Premium FVG Could Pull Price Higher In The Short Term, But There’s A Problem He noted that these partnerships are strategic, as XRP could soon be classified as a TIER 1 asset by the Bank of International Settlements (BIS). Such a designation would place the cryptocurrency alongside traditional assets like gold, effectively elevating its market status.  @UnknowDLT has stated that most XRP holders are not prepared for what lies ahead, underscoring his strong bullish outlook for the cryptocurrency.  Featured image from Getty Images, chart from Tradingview.com

Crypto pundit X Finance Bull has explained how XRP is positioned to absorb a share of the $100 trillion in assets that the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has in custody. He notably mentioned Ripple and the role the crypto firm is playing in making this possible for XRP.  How XRP Is Positioned To Take A Share of DTCC’s $100 Trillion Assets In an X post, X Finance Bull noted that in 2025, DTCC filed patents that named Ripple and the XRP Ledger as compatible infrastructure for tokenized finance. Following that, Ripple acquired Hidden Road, a prime brokerage that clears $3 trillion annually for over 300 institutional clients, for $1.25 billion.  Related Reading: Why SWIFT’s Latest Global Payments Infrastructure Is Bullish For XRP Holders The pundit then mentioned that earlier this month, Hidden Road, which is now Ripple Prime, was added to the DTCC’s NSCC directory. He noted that this is the same clearing infrastructure used by Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan. X Finance Bull added that no crypto company has ever achieved this feat, with Ripple now embedded inside Wall Street’s machinery. The pundit believes that these developments position XRP to gain a share of DTCC’s custody assets.  X Finance Bull noted that the tokenization market is projected to hit between $16 and $30 trillion by 2030. Meanwhile, the DTCC’s director has spoken about a $100 trillion tokenization goal. He added that Ripple is inside the system and alleged that there are stated plans to migrate post-trade activity to the XRP Ledger.  The pundit stated that noting that is guaranteed for XRP, but that the positioning is undeniable. In line with this, he remarked that XRP holders aren’t betting on hype but on infrastructure that is already built from the inside out.  Ripple Working To Improve XRP Ledger’s Security Ripple has unveiled new plans to improve the XRP Ledger’s security as more institutions adopt the network and tokenize real-world assets on it. Ripple’s Head of Engineering, Ayo Akinyele, announced in an X post that they are taking a more proactive, AI-driven approach to strengthen the network’s security. Related Reading: Why The XRP Supply In The Billions Is Not A Problem This approach will include AI-assisted testing across the development lifecycle, a dedicated red team, and higher standards for how they evaluate changes before they go live. The Ripple executive noted that the goal is to continuously strengthen the XRP Ledger’s reliability as the network scales to support global payments, tokenized assets, and institutional use cases.  It is worth noting that the XRP Ledger currently ranks 8th in tokenized RWA, with a total tokenized value of $1.9 billion on the network, according to RWA.xyz. Ripple’s push into traditional finance appears to have taken another step forward after its institutional brokerage platform, Hidden Road, was listed in the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) directory under the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).  The implications of this development, which recently went live, are massive for both Ripple and XRP. Members of the XRP community are seeing the development as a signal that Ripple is steadily positioning itself inside the infrastructure that powers conventional financial markets. Hidden Road’s DTCC Listing Places Ripple Inside Wall Street’s Infrastructure On March 2, 2026, a quiet but seismic event occurred in the crypto world. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, the backbone of the US securities market, officially added Hidden Road Partners CIV US LLC to its National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) Market Participant Identifiers directory.  Related Reading: Ripple Exec Clears The Air On Blocked XRP Transactions – When Does It Happen? Ripple’s decision to acquire Hidden Road was already one of the boldest moves the crypto industry had ever seen. Hidden Road, now operating as Ripple Prime following Ripple’s $1.25 billion acquisition in 2025, is a global prime brokerage. Before Ripple acquired the company, Hidden Road was already processing financing trades for over 300 institutional clients, moving approximately $3 trillion annually.  Gaining a listing on the NSCC directory grants a firm direct operational standing within the post-trade workflows used by the world’s largest financial institutions. Ripple has done something no crypto company has done before: it has embedded itself into the very machinery of Wall Street. The NSCC listing means Ripple Prime can now process over-the-counter trades through the NSCC’s centralized clearing system.  Ripple’s former CTO, David Schwartz, also acknowledged the development on X, responding to a post about the update with the short remark: “Seems important.” Interestingly, Schwartz also noted that the update comes from something that’s been in the works since a bit before Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road and rebranding to Ripple Prime was 100% final. XRP Holders See The Writing On The Wall The XRP community’s reaction has been a mix of serious institutional analysis and unmistakable excitement. Many holders see the DTCC listing as the clearest signal yet that Ripple is no longer building toward mainstream finance but is now arriving inside it. That perspective gained further traction after David Schwartz publicly reacted to the update with his brief response. Related Reading: The Uncomfortable Truth About XRP That Shows How High Price Can Actually Go “Important milestone for Ripple Prime,” wrote one X user. Another X user known as SMQKE noted that Ripple’s Hidden Road acquisition and the recent move will supercharge XRP’s utility.  The contention is that Ripple Prime will start to gradually move parts of its post-trade processes onto the XRP Ledger. Even if only a portion of that institutional volume were to eventually move through XRPL-based settlement systems, the development could significantly increase blockchain activity tied to Ripple’s ecosystem. ZRO, the native token of the omnichain interpretability protocol LayerZero, has skyrocketed more than 40% on the past day following the announcement of its new Layer-1 (L1) blockchain backed by major institutional players. Related Reading: XRP Positioned For Major Structure Shift As Price Tests Critical Level LayerZero Unveils Zero Blockchain On Tuesday, LayerZero Labs announced a new L1 blockchain, Zero, aimed at institutional financial markets. According to the announcement, it is set to launch in fall 2026, with three initial “zones,” described as permissionless environments fully owned and governed by the underlying network. Moreover, ZRO will serve as the network’s native token, providing interoperability between Zones and across the 165+ blockchains it connects. Designed to “eliminate the long-standing scalability challenges of decentralized networks,” Zero is set to process 2 million transactions per second (TPS) per Zone and charge near-zero fees by targeting four primary bottlenecks. “By leveraging Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs to decouple execution from verification, Zero transitions the network from redundant replication to a heterogeneous architecture,” LayerZero Labs explained on X. “This structural shift allows for two distinct validator classes: lightweight Block Validators capable of running on low-grade consumer hardware and optional higher performance Block Producers,” it continued. Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero Labs, affirmed that Zero’s architecture advances the industry’s roadmap by at least a decade. “We believe we can actually bring the entire global economy onchain with this technology. Our mission is to build permissionless infrastructure for a better world – this is the beginning of that world,” he added. Zero Receives Major Institutional Backing The rollout was backed by key institutional players, including Citadel Securities, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), ARK Invest, Google Cloud, and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Notably, Citadel Securities is collaborating to evaluate how its technology could apply to trading, clearing, and settlement workflows. Additionally, it made a strategic investment in ZRO. ARK Invest is becoming a shareholder of LayerZero equity and ZRO. Meanwhile, Cathie Wood, the company’s CEO and CIO, joined LayerZero’s new advisory board alongside Michael Blaugrund, VP of Strategic Initiatives at ICE, and Caroline Butler, former head of digital assets at BNY Mellon. “This is a historic opportunity at the intersection of finance and the internet. I am thrilled to join LayerZero’s advisory board and help accelerate the adoption of Zero by the largest markets and companies in the world,” Wood said in a statement. DTCC will investigate the Zero blockchain architecture to enhance the scalability of the DTC Tokenization Service and collateral management, while ICE will examine it for 24/7 trading and tokenized collateral. Moreover, Google Cloud partnered to explore how to enable AI agents to make micropayments and trade resources instantly. Tether also announced a separate strategic investment in LayerZero Labs on Tuesday. ZRO Price Skyrockets Following the news, ZRO soared more than 40% in the last 24 hours, hitting a four-month high of $2.59 on Wednesday morning. The cryptocurrency had been trading between the $1.50 and $2.00 area over the past few weeks, reaching a local low of $1.35 during last week’s crash. Now, the recent momentum has pushed LayerZero back above the $2.00 area and toward a major resistance area. The cryptocurrency has been unable to reclaim the $2.60 mark since June, being rejected from this area after each retest. Related Reading: Bitcoin Could See New Drop To $60,000 Despite Bounce – Here’s The Level To Defend If ZRO reclaims $2.60, it could target the next major resistance, located at around $3.00. Analyst Crypto Tony affirmed that if the cryptocurrency clears this level, “we are good for $3.30. Wave 3 is beginning.” As of this writing, ZRO is trading at $2.45, a 36.5% increase in the weekly timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com

The crypto industry is approaching a major milestone as the market anticipates the potential approval of an XRP Spot ETF in the United States (US). Analysts suggest that recent developments regarding the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) review could deliver the final nail in the coffin for XRP. With ETF filings still awaiting approval, the market is watching closely, as a green light could pave the way to greater mainstream adoption and institutional investment in XRP.  XRP ETF To Become Game-Changer For The Market Nate Geraci, President of NovaDius Wealth Management and co-founder of The ETF Institute, recently stated on X social media that the first Spot XRP ETF could launch within the next two weeks. He described this event as the “final nail in the coffin” for the previous wave of anti-crypto regulators.  Related Reading: Analyst Predicts XRP Price Will Decouple From Bitcoin, Here’s What Would Happen Notably, the US SEC had been involved in litigation against Ripple for five years, which concluded about three months ago. Geraci believes that the approval of a Spot XRP ETF represents a significant step forward for not only XRP but also the broader cryptocurrency industry.  The temporary delay caused by the US government shutdown, which started in October, has pushed back XRP ETF approvals. However, new reports of bipartisan efforts to reopen government operations have reignited expectations of an ETF. Geraci pointed out in a subsequent X post that the end of the government shutdown could unleash a wave of crypto ETF launches, with a 33 Act spot XRP ETF likely coming this week. Recently, the US Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) listed nine new Spot XRP ETFs on its platform, increasing expectations of a launch this November. The list includes XRP ETFs from top asset managers such as Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Canary Capital, Volatility Shares, CoinShares, T-Rex Osprey, 21Shares, and many others.  ETF Filing Amendment Brings Launch Closer Than Ever Further evidence that an XRP ETF may be imminent comes from recent filing updates by leading issuers. Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, reported that 21Shares has submitted an 8(a) form with the US SEC on November 7 for its spot XRP ETF. The new changes in the filing officially activate a 20-day countdown for the approval and launch of an XRP ETF by November 27.  Related Reading: Rare Chart Formation That Led To An 87% XRP Price Crash Has Resurfaced Crypto commentator John Squire also noted that if the US SEC does not take action within the allotted period, the approval would automatically proceed. Similarly, multiple issuers, including Canary Capital, have also withdrawn “delaying amendments,” triggering the same 20-day automatic approval countdown.  Notably, these filings suggest that the market is moving closer to a regulatory green light for XRP ETFs. Amid recent developments, Squire has pointed out that the US has never been this close to fully approving an XRP ETF. Should the SEC give its authorization, it could significantly transform trading volume, liquidity, and institutional participation in the market. It would also expand the current major ETF offerings beyond just Bitcoin and Ethereum. Featured image from Peakpx, chart from Tradingview.com

Crypto analyst Cryptoinsight has provided a bullish outlook for the XRP price, predicting that it could soon rally to as high as $12. He alluded to fundamentals and technicals, which could spark this parabolic rally.  What Could Spark The XRP Price Rally To $12 In a YouTube video, Cryptoinsight highlighted the Dubai Land Department’s recent move to launch a tokenization platform on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) as one of the catalysts that could spark the XRP price rally to $12. He also mentioned other recent partnerships and major moves Ripple has made as factors that could contribute to the price surge.   Related Reading: $10,000 XRP Theory: Factors Analyst Shares Scenarios That Could Drive Growth One is the crypto firm’s acquisition of the prime broker Hidden Road, which is expected to boost the XRP Ledger’s utility. This is ultimately bullish for the XRP price as the network’s native token. The crypto analyst also mentioned the alleged link between Hidden Road and the DTCC, which enables the prime broker to process trillions of dollars in US Treasury trades daily.  Cryptoinsight also noted that Ripple has acquired a payments license in Dubai, which is bullish for the XRP price, since it is the native token of the crypto firm’s payment services. He alluded to reports of the crypto firm allegedly looking to acquire USDC issuer Circle and the XRP ETFs, whose approval odds continue to soar.  Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently discussed crypto ETFs, which the analyst believes could be a hint that these ETFs will be approved soon. Lastly, he mentioned the XRP lawsuit as another event that could be a catalyst if the long-running legal battle ends soon. Cryptoinsight predicts that the XRP price rally to $12 could happen in the next few months.  From a technical perspective, he also highlighted bullish indicators like a bull flag that had formed on XRP’s weekly chart. The crypto analyst stated that momentum is starting to reverse to the upside and that buyers could step in soon.  The Altcoin On The Verge Of A Local Low In an X post, crypto analyst CasiTrades stated that the XRP price hasn’t made a local low yet but is on the verge of doing that. She remarked that all signs point to a retest of the $2.25 to $2.26 zone. The analyst added that this is a major structural support that aligns with the macro .382 retracement and has been a key level for the last six months.  Related Reading: XRP Price Explosion To $5.9: Current Consolidation Won’t Stop XRP From Growing If that support zone holds, she claimed it could mark the base for a new wave toward $2.70. However, if it breaks, the deeper support levels at $1.90 and $1.55 would come back into focus, meaning that the altcoin could still drop below the psychological $2 level before the next leg up.  At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.30, down almost 2% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
